So I started on ep 1 and finished ep 10.I know I was tired and things went over my head that I might have understood.…
I can help with a few questions. 1. Based on the novel, there are four types of spiritual roots, heavenly which has one, true which has 2 or 3, false with 4 or 5, and mutated with 1-3 formed from the five core elements mixing together. Basically its better to have less attributed (elements) as you can then cultivate faster than those with two or three, or four and five. The less you have the more likely it is for you to reach the core formation. So they don't like people with four or five attributes they will likely never reach the core formation.
2. Do you mean Zhang Tie? The friend that he was with? [SPOILER] He got caught and turned into a puppet (that bodyguard looking man with a mask), and Han Li said he would fetch him once he settled down, so after joining the Yellow Maple Sect.
Ep 3 .. litI need some spoilers plz. Someone was very nice to share them last time.1. Is Drake already falling…
There are two books. I think someone said they will be using both in this series but I only read the first one and the ending of the second. I don't remember everything that happens so I may not be correct.
I will be spoiling pretty heavily. 1. Kind of, but right now he is more intrigued by her since she "rejected" him first, and he just kind of lets her annoy him. Episode four should start showing how they feel about each other. 2. The 'Sorry Mom' thing, I have no clue. I don't remember reading that. He genuinely likes her. The love he feels for her is the only type of falling in love he has known, so to him, it is love. 3. Episodes 4 and 5 will probably focus on him starting to fall for Alys, and the same for her. He will start focusing more on Alys than Katrina. I'm not sure what else could happen since a lot and nothing happen all at the same time. But I think they will also show the tutoring parts as they prepare for college. 4. They go to an Acquaintance Ball, or dance. So Alys and Drake are meant to be partners for certain reasons. I think he realises that he tolerates her way more than anyone else, and even though she has flaws, he is still interested. One of the two is going to "accidentally" confess to the other. 5. I really can't remember how he confessed. I think it drags a little and becomes messy. I really don't remember. 6. There is definitely pining and not just from the leads. Whether it's angsty or not, we will see how they filmed it.
Can I just ask why you find the cousin sketchy because you aren't the only one to say this and I'm wondering what…
Well based on what you said about how the mother was acting, I would think so. But it seems like the only people that don't know are the siblings and it would be really messed up if everyone knew and just covered it all up. Also how did Beiyu even get AIDS? That's what I keep wondering about.

Okay, that makes sense. Thank you. From some of the other comments I have read your assumption is similar to theirs. The hiding and shamefulness never made sense to me, even giving the family as much money as he is giving. I guess we will see what happens but if it is the cousin and he is living such a great life with everyone lying for him that really is disgusting!!
I know they are going to give us some type of sob story for the mother, but oh my goodness!!! I cannot handle how QingYu can never be right or responsible in her eyes. Like you have already lost one daughter, and the way you are behaving will make you lose your second.

I never watch something I have read, but I may read something I have watched because the novels are always better than the adaptations.
Nobody actually knows why they chose her or why her company chose it when she has a no kissing clause. There was just a lot of potential based off of what people say about the novel.
But, I am glad that at least one person is enjoying this!!
You guys aren’t strong enough, lol. I just saw a bunch of comments under a censored BL C-drama 😂🤣 everyone’s…
We have no problem with the limited amounts of intimacy scenes that shows give us but when one names a show 'Be Passionately in Love', you'd think that you would actually see that, the passion, the fire, the lust they have for one another but we don't see any of that. We just see fake kissing scenes that they could have worked around, used stunt doubles or created an atmosphere full of lust before they "kiss" but we got none of that.
Most of us have watched dramas that take 20+ episodes to even hold hands and when they do we are giggling and kicking our feet. This show is just not delivering the giggles we thought we would be getting.
I think that if the actress didn't want to do kissing scenes, they could have created palpable scenes where they set the mood with music and had their breathing increase as they move closer to each other and just as they are about to "kiss" they cut the scene or move the camera like historial dramas with intimate scenes. I just wanted the air to be thick with lust and wanting.
Going from a show where the leads DEVOURED each other to the leads fake kissing has me disappointed on some other type of level. I expected to have my jaw on the floor based on the title alone. Now I'm more shocked by a statue with no arms.

So everything went into chaos, then there was a repeat of the maids trying to rob her and seeing her disfigured face. She spiraled, killing them. Then the general sent by Liu Yan killed the rest of them. She was worried that he also saw her disfigured face and stabbed him. He spoke about how LY knew and that he was just there to protect her. Then she had flashbacks of all three guys she was involved with and the scene shows her leading a sword to her neck. We don't actually see her ending her life.
Lady Yu Lou's ending was very fitting. Her insecurities were always going to be her downfall because...
She had three men in various stages of her life. Three men who were devoted to her and her goal. Spoiling her in a way her family never did. All three had contingency plans if things went south: the brother and the two generals. She was blinded by her insecurities and never saw how much they loved her despite the lies and selfishness she possessed. She had them WRAPPED around her pinky finger!!
