watching the recent episodes while knowing how the book ends is like watching a truck going full speed on a mountain…
Please spoil it for me. I already know certain things happened that weren't in the novel but I don't know about about the ending besides if it is happy or sad.
I have so many thoughts about these two new episodes. Firstly, are my expectations of PTSD and emotional trauma way too high for them to portray or am I just heartless and unable to cry? I did feel so bad for Song Ran when everyone was going against her, then she arrived home to her stepmom talking about how she has to walk on eggshells around her as if Song Ran did not experience one of the most traumatic things a human being could ever experience. I'm glad she at least has Li Zan who is patient and kind to her. Not even her father was being considerate. Then she goes on a whim to express her thoughts. I get it. I do. She has gone through so much and does not want to see any more injustice, which led her to be taken advantage of. What I don't fully comprehend and get is that there was not a single rational thought afterwards. Not until Li Zan spoke to her a second time. She was unwilling to hear more from the other side or even investigate just a little more to find out the truth. I also understand wanting to believe the victim and that boy is a victim but she just went with it even though as a reporter it was also her story to uncover.
Is the mental trauma going to be further explained? Because we have not seen much from Li Zan's side compared to Song Ran's side. I know his brain is depressing the event because of how traumatic it was for him so that's why he doesn't remember.
I couldn't be that patient, dropped after 9 eps. Idk why it's so popular. I think it's cuz it makes people nostalgic…
Literally dropping it in the same place as you. I love watching shows about youth, life and friendship but this one is not it for me!! I will never understand girls that always choose the rude, helps behind the scenes guy over one that actually shows they are interested, helps you out all the time guys. I love Hu Yitian but I cannot with this drama. I'm so tired of the acts uninterested but is actually interested trope. Not cute.
I'm proud of Haode and glad that she didn't lie to him.It will most probably be a point in her favour when he…
That glimpse had me confused when the subs said father and not brother. Then I was like damn, did he get married? No he did not. But the death of his sister probably weighs so heavily on his conscience that he doesn't want to have someone that can be leveraged against him. This makes me think that in a later episode the exact thing may happen again but he is going to choose her because he cannot fathom the idea of losing her. So he confesses to liking her after she is saved and boom, we move onto the chaotic Leshan.
I love that we are seeing more sneak peeks of Kangning and Chai An. And wow Haode is definitely winning the heart of Shen Huizhao. Thank goodness she did not take Leshan's advice, it would have bitten her hard whenever he started to remember. My heart was sore when Haode was crying after realising he didn't actually like her or agree to the marriage. An unrequited first love sounds painful.
Side note: Did you guys notice how cute SHZ looked when we smiled after losing his memory?
The chaos of these recent two episodes!!! I love it!!! I need more shows like this. Does anyone have recommendations, I've already watched the ones that are listed as recommendations, or at least four and dropped the fifth.
My heart. Theo took the rejection well. When guys take rejection well, it makes them more attractive. I'm glad Sian is starting to figure things out and told Theo even if it was hard. Dongho my guy, what's happening with you? Do you like Haejin or Arin more? And lastly, my poor baby Jiyeon. She really burst that "perfect" date and I totally see what she means, boy was yapping!!!
I honestly felt like she would go back.
