I understand Du Yangxi not wanting Shouhua to be separated from her family but going about it the way he did to "preserve" her reputation is the same as a person making decisions for you or doing what is "best" for you. DYX went about it in the WORST possible way. We all know all that happened because of Minister Yu after meeting his mother. I don't know if he is possibly DYX's father but I doubt it with how he is acting. We already know that DYX is not blood related to his mother but now it seems like she was the maid to his mother and not just some lady that found him but how does that all fit in with Minister Yu and her fear of him?
Anyways, I don't know how DYX will redeem himself since he manages in the end but me being a book girlie, I'm not even sure how much grovelling he can do to convince me that he deserves her.
