Same, this comment section is my current guilty pleasure haha. I also really appreciate his staff/management.…
I couldn't stop crying too. Even Lee Soo Geun mentioned about this ep.
Why does the staff treat SH that way ? Even in yesterday's ep they made him repeat the sleeping mission & had him sleep outdoors.
They love him but this show doesn't spare anyone. Especially the one who escaped drinking even a sip of Sand Lance extract. I think SH is the only one to achieve this feat in 2DN1 history.
loved dosan and dalmi's relationship at first but now it's getting weird the fact that the writer is doing anything…
Exactly. Is it even possible to forget something you cherished for 15 years in 15 hrs ?
I think that the pain & anger arising from feeling betrayed for 15 yrs is enormous.
Just imagine that the people you trust the most built a fake world around you. It's utterly devastating.
You question the reality & almost enter an existential crisis.
But apparently in drama land, a night filled with alcohol (the amount which doesn't even cause a hangover - DM is shown to be a heavy drinker & sleep talker) can get rid of all your worries.
Honest question. Why do people like NDS? I personally find him grating, but I know some people do enjoy his characters,…
NDS is an achiever. No matter what, once he sets his mind on to it, he ultimately wins & achieves his goals.
• Would he mind using unfair means ?
He doesn't like to but if it happens unintentionally, he doesn't mind taking advantage of the situation.
• How does he deal with unforseen set backs/ when things don't go his way ?
His immediate reaction is a violent out break - smashing name plates, breaking tables, crushing devices & hitting people.
But his delayed response is crying his eyes out.
• Does he acknowledge his mistakes & apologize for his actions ?
Yes & no. He feels sorry when he hurts his loved ones but when he is disrespectful to others (who maybe older than him), he chooses to ignore the situation & pretend as if it never happened.
And he is bold enough to ask the victims of his violent outbreaks to invest in his project.
• So he is good at managing his projects right ?
*lets out a deep sigh* He lets his cousin handle the CODA acceptance speech video which could be a turning point in his life. The drama dealt with it in a comical way but in reality the response would be totally different.
He was almost robbed of his image recognition software. He was about to be trapped by In Jae's dad to do data collection work. He was deceived by Alex to join 2STO & dissolve SST and Noongil.
• Ok. But he loves DM & cares for Grandma.
Yes. But amusingly he finds it reasonable to leave a girl in a drunken state all alone in the park.
• He is going to show an evolved version of himself after the 3 yrs time skip.
I hope so. It's high time that he does.
• Why does it sound like you don't believe in him ? And your tone & reasoning seem to grow colder from ep to ep.
Maybe because I really don't. You can't really force yourself to trust a person.
I can't deny that. He was a relatable character with a shy, introverted & nerdy personality with innocent yet adorable charms. Now I really can't relate to him anymore.
Normally in Kdrama, whether or not there is a love triangle. The writers do not make the pairing of the FL and…
"From the way I see it, even fairytales like Snow White, and Cinderella had more barriers to their happy ending."
Lol. Agree with that. I think DS & DM never had a serious conversation.
Relationships in real life or drama lives cannot progress without the basic steps. They never spent quality time together to understand each other.
The emotional bonding b/w them was not explored. A few friendly conversations, little skin ship, a kiss & a few heart fluttering moments alone can't make you fall head over heels for someone. This is just infatuation.
I hope that in the future eps we have real progress in their relationship if they are bound to end up together.
I have a suggestion for the ones who are in second lead syndrome. You should watch this drama again after it ends.…
I like your advice but I don't think I can go through this emotional roller coaster all over again. But if I do, I will try to think from DS's perspective.
This drama started with JP & similar to reading a novel, we unconsciously get attached to the main narrator/ the character who is introduced first or the one who is explored deeply in the beginning.
And the fact that the two actors portraying JP are doing an amazing job doesn't help either. We were bound to have SLS.
I really loved the potential that the plot had. A platonic love, bromance & family reunion. Sadly, we are just left hanging on to the so called love triangle (a cliché that I'm tired of watching). Why do we always have a third wheel in a K drama love story ?
I finally decided to drop the drama (as I love all the characters but don't like the character development) & I don't regret my choice.
I LOVED episode 12. It's probably one of my favorites! Which says a lot as it followed a very draggy and lukewarm…
" My disappointment with the episode is that the writer ended up dismissing a previously powerful message and that was... SDM needing space."
"He lies and avoids issues in order to keep SDM from getting hurt. But that also means he doesn't trust she can handle life or the truth. A lie is a lie, no matter the intentions"
"Or at least, he can't be the end game until he's comfortable in his own skin. He cannot put all his happiness in the hands of someone else while pretending to be someone he's not. That would be an INCREDIBLY problematic message to put out there"
Loved reading your analysis. Logical & comforting. Couldn't agree more with the above statements.

I think the level is similar to the ones we could have with a person traveling together on a long journey.

If they remained as pen pals, we would have an amazing plot of platonic love.

Am I the only one who read it the way Lee Mino does in 'The Legend of the Blue Sea' ?
We are just here to watch a cliché ending & cheer for the commercial success of the drama.
I hope that in the future we get realistic plots with relatable characters whose lives don't revolve around a love triangle.

Loved this line. Someone had to point it out.
