Oh yeah I know which actor you are talking about. 😅He indeed did something inappropriate (and stupid imho). Don't want to go into too much detail here, but unless he has ties to some powerful people, he most likely created many roadblocks for himself down the road as an actor and perhaps also as a normal Chinese citizen. What you said is true, if he did what he did in America for example, he would in fact be met with a round of applause from many people. I can understand why he did that though. He did study abroad in Canada so it makes sense. However, since he chose to pursue his career in Mainland China, there are some mistakes that should never happen.
