I realized I watched some of Zhehan’s dramas before! But I didn’t realize it was him! The Demon Girl, Decoded and young Lin Shu in Nirvana in Fire! I really liked his characters in these dramas. Even though he only had a small part in Nirvana, I still remember thinking the younger version looked pretty handsome. I will probably check out Legend of Yunxi later then since he is ML. Thank you for the recommendation! WoH was indeed the drama that brought him to stardom, but I don’t really like one of the actors in it so I don’t think I can watch it. 😅

I did some digging and watched some of his interviews. I think he is a very honest and charismatic person. His interviews are all very interesting to watch. I also saw videos of him riding a horse, playing basketball and winning a trophy?? And also winning something in golf?? Like this is an actor, singer and athlete rolled in one! You buy 1 get 2 free omg. Being his fan must be such an exhilarating experience.

Tbh my favourite Chinese actor is quite a bit younger than Zhehan, but I secretly wish that he can mature a bit faster and be more disciplined and have more will-power, just like Zhang Zhehan. Not that he has to be as talented as Zhehan, but at least be half as determined and strong-willed as him lol. I think what I like most about Zhang Zhehan is his willpower and determination. Putting his superb acting/singing skills aside, I think to practice basketball and golf to such a level where he can compete with professionals is really something. He must’ve worked much harder than a lot people. This alone is something I admire and could definitely learn from.

Now I think I know why his competitors wanted to get rid of him so quickly. He’s simply too amazing! What happened on 813 was despicable. I can’t imagine how much he is hurting right now. Given that this event happened in a particular country, I don’t know if there will ever be justice. However bleak the future may be, I’m guessing that Zhehan will not give up. Hope his fans can be there for him for as long as they can and more kind-hearted people like you will join the group.

I just heard that SY (another BL drama on a different platform) will be airing in March. Omg Tencent really needs to step up their game.

Why is it that on Li hongyi’s profile page here, people are commenting that he resembles Cheng yi? But on Cheng yi’s page, there’s no mention of Li hongyi? Please be respectful people. Dylan is the most well known among the names you mentioned, so if they do decide to replace the ML (btw was CFY confirmed to be the ML though?) the most likely candidate will be him. Unless of course he has other dramas to film in that time slot or he doesn’t want the role. Tbh I don’t care too much who plays the ML, I just want to watch this drama lmao.

Hope you and his fans can get him to the Top 1 popularity of all time here on mdl, he really deserves at least this much. It’ll also be a heavy slap in the face to those who colluded to bring him down. Glad to see he has so many international fans and support from all around the world. I also started listening to his songs on youtube. He’s a very talented singer and I love his voice!

True. The investors and rest of the crew also need to consider the backlash they may get… Either way, I hope they do film this drama no matter who they end up casting as ML.

I don’t know what to say… Poor guy. We may never know the true culprits since the evil forces are so powerful. And the scary thing is, some actors I currently like may belong to the companies that were involved in his case. But I’ll never know. 🥲

Lol if you saw Li hongyi’s pictures from when he was 17 or 18 and compared with Cheng Yi’s old pics, you would have a better sense which one of the two got some “work done.”
