these people are the same people that believe south korea is heaven and north korea is hell, because americans…
I will definitely check out Alexander. And no, I didn’t hear about the simulations but I am not surprised - thank you for passing that on.

We are completely cut off from finding anything on the internet as far as truth about what is going on outside the U.S. It started about 3 years ago where Google starting removing all links to any websites in the Middle East, China and Russia. I literally cannot access anything - the only thing I’ve been able to access is a North Korean underground website.

Its a nightmare - and any conservatives are censored and then banned from posting on any social media, etc. and often entire websites are shut down. So I and others are somewhat limited to real information - its more hand me down information from the dark websites.

I was fortunate to find a website of a IT guy who lived in China for a decade and he still has contacts there…..so I am able to at least hear a little about the truth of China….both everyday and political.

Many years ago, before it was banned on YouTube, there were a lot of wonderful videos produced in North Korea and I just happened to run across them. I was simply amazed how beautiful and clean their cities are. It was an initial awakening for me and eventually seeing how I’ve been lied to by the U.S. my entire life.

Its like a breath of fresh air talking to you - you are in a country with the same kind of mentality….its nice to know there are some sane people in the U.K.

I agree; however Japan continues to be a lapdog of the U.S. also. I very much look forward to seeing what China and Russia can do together.

The U.S. is all bluff….they don’t dare to send the new military composed of trannies and purple hair wokes to Taiwan. Just as they spit in the Ukraine’s face yesterday, so they shall do likewise to Taiwan. You’d think that anyone with even a sparse background in world history would be able to figure out that the U.S. never, ever keeps its word or respects the treaties they make with other countries. Look at what they did to Iran, Libya, Vietnam and Syria among others. You hit the nail on the head….the U.S. drives our economy by going to war.

I think its time other countries step up to the plate and do something about our country…..they shouldn’t let this continue to happen. I am looking to Putin to be the leader. Putin has the weapons, China has the numbers. I hope they put a stop to this madness soon.

I was born and raised in the U.S. (1948). It is sad but the majority of Americans know nothing of their own history let alone other countries history. All they know is what they read on Yahoo or are told by the government to believe. In reality, they are more of a prisoner than the North Koreans they bash. I find it sad that after so many millions of Koreans have died throughout history to banish imperialism and colonialism that SK so blithely allows themselves to be the puppet rulers of the U.S. government.

I am also in the U.S. Vietnam was my era. Yes, do read about the Korean War….its another typical story of America invading another country for no reason except greed and power, while killing millions.

One of the most powerful war movies I have ever seen. At its conclusion, about 15 minutes ago, I put my hands…
Two other ones I’ve watched recently are also fantastic: Joint Security Area (Prime, pay to watch, but worth it) and The Frontline, on HiYah Prime channel. It is about the last battle of the Korean War. It just breaks your heart as to how governments never care about the people, its all about power.

Title Jirisan
Majority of people are not used to the multiple "present day" format, probably because they're too young, haven't…
Oh, SO well said. I might add that as someone born in 1948 I have noticed that as the generations progress, people seem to have lost the ability to focus, the ability to just BE STILL. I think this comes from life being too fast paced, too much time spent on computers, phones and video games. A good definition would be that they suffer from “over-stimulation”; physically and emotionally. In reality its ADHD in severe over-drive. It’s a shame. As a prolific book reader since I was 4, and having no internet until I was well into my late 30’s….I am grateful to have been born when I was.

Just as people who eat highly seasoned food and their taste buds begin to lose the delicate sense of taste; they continue to add more and more spices, garlic and onions so that they can taste the food; so has life become for most people emotionally; this is why brutal dramas like Squid Game are so popular.

We now have a generation of kids who can’t count change back to a customer, instead the display tells them how much to give back. It has been years since I’ve had a young person count the change before giving it to me - they just stick in your hand. These same kids stand at a register and pick items by a picture (i.e., hamburger, etc). What did we expect to happen?

Loved Jirisan by the way and had no trouble keeping up.

Review Empress Ki
Getting ready to watch Warrior Baek Dang Soo with Ji. Sorta bummed out that this was made in 2013 and Lee Moon Shik was 50 at the time so probably not too many more movies for him. I heard he was great in Iljame.

Fun series. Great acting by Kim Nam Gil. What is it that makes everyone so much more beautiful looking in the historical costumes than the ugly clothing worn now a days? The long hair on both sexes, the wonderful little topknot jewelry .....I have even grown to love the silly hats. I realized at some point, the hats were made that way so they could cover the topknot without smashing it. To me also, the beards, etc make some of the men so much more interesting looking.
