Good Enough
Korean Drama '' To My Hyeri '' is a psychological melodrama with a romantic story at its core. The drama starts out pretty strong, with the leading lady killing it with her double personality performance.
The mystery was also intriguing and the melodrama fitted the story nicely.
And yet, everything went downhill halfway through. The drama changed course and emphasized more on the love story and less on its main character, which didn't fit the tone of the drama and made it generic.
Also, the pace was messy and the story felt random.
So, overall, five out of ten.

The movie didn't have a plot that you haven't watched before. Actually, there are many korean dramas and movies that have pretty much the same story. However, this movie did it better than the rest. They kept the pace nice and quick and the atmosphere of the movie was just right. The performances, in addition, were really good from every actor and actress in the film. The only minus of this drama was the plot. It just was a bit boring and predictable.
So, overall, five out of ten.

A Story to Read When You First Fall in Love

Part of that part of the romance that just didn't feat for me, the story was kind of slice of life and cute, but, sometimes, it lacked intensity and there were some scenes that were, unfortunately, boring. That said, the performances were really good from everyone and the story's pace well managed.

Good Enough
" Backstreet Rookie " is an okay drama. One should watch it keeping in mind that this is more of a comedy and light-superficial drama, as well as that there were some controversies when it came to some scenes or plotlines. That said, most of the drama was a fun ride. The two main characters were interesting and the leads had chemistry, even though the romance was boring and it didn't have the traditional road.
The side characters were entertaining as well. As for the family drama, it was just enough to keep things interesting for a while. The whole vibes of the drama, in addition, with the action scenes, the webtoon refrences and the colourful background were all a nice touch and were handled masterfully.
However, the final episodes were draggy and boring, not to mention predictable. The whole drama with the ex was just overused after a while.
So, overall, five out of ten.

Chinese productions know the secret in making nostalgic, school dramas. This one is actually one of the best I've watched so far. However, there is a trop that they even couldn't escape: the open ending. Why, really why!, can't they give us a satisfying ending?! Anyway, other than slice of life - realistic ending, the story was sweet and full of the innocence of youth. The leads were especially adorable and everyone gave a good performance. The execution, moreover, was good overall. So, seven out of ten. Was this review helpful to you?

Not Good Enough
Korean Drama '' When the Stars Gossip '' is a space melodrama with a love story at its center.First of all, the cinematography is impressive, and the zero-gravity scenes were well acted and filmed. The whole settings, costumes, and space scenes felt authentic and realistic as well.
Also, the middle part of the drama was quite enjoyable. The story has unfolded and the characters got better, with some suspense thrown into the mix to keep things interesting. The comedy part was also entertaining and carefully mixed with the rest of the genres.
However, the love story was not as great. It was oddly paced and it wasn't believable that they fell in love instantly when they arrived in space. The couple did have some cute scenes together in those episodes in the middle part of the drama, but, overall, it wasn't satisfying. The more mature scenes also didn't make sense due to the circumstances when it was 'conducted'.
Generally, the first episodes and the last episodes were really bad, as the story was all over the place, and it was hard to ignore the plot holes and nonsensical twists. Actually, and even though one should turn their brain off when watching this drama as the physical rules do not really apply, some things simply were too much.
Also, the ending was rushed, with a montage used to show what the time jumps robbed the audience of, and a lot of the side characters' stories were left unsolved.
Finally, all the performances were great by everyone in the cast.
So, overall, four out of ten.

Good Enough
Korean Drama '' Queen of Tears '' is a dark comedy melodrama. The story is pretty unexpected, especially at the start of the drama, which was more on the comedy side. Slowly, they introduced the dramatic scheme involving the villain and the family, as they go through unexpected changes. Then, the series turns towards the romantic side, with many moments between the couple. The plot gets darker towards the end, with the final episode being quite dramatic. However, it must be noted that the last episodes, especially the fourteenth, were rather boring and felt more or less like fillers.
Another perk for this drama was the excellent side characters that were interesting and helped the story a lot.
Also, the performances were excellent.
So, overall, seven out of ten.
