If you enjoy shoujo school romance drama, then you'll like Konna Mirai wa Kiitenai. At first, there are some elements that may put you off, like the poster (1) and the main story (2). Okay, the idea behind the whole drama was odd, but the drama focuses on the girl, who is in love with her best friend, but she is confessed by another boy.

Overall, the love triangle was cute. And the love story was interesting to watch. However, the ending, with the whole time traveling theme was confusing. However, the pace of the drama was nice, the story fresh and entertaining, and the performances enjoyable.

So, seven out of ten.

One thing that I appreciated about this drama was the ending. Put your head on my shoulder didn't follow the patern of the other chinese drama that start so good and they just have an open and unsatisfying ending. No, this one gives you closure. And, overall, it was cute and sweet. The story, even though it's not anything original and it was full of cliche, was nevertheless interesting, at least most of it. However, the side stories were just there to fill the gaps, as the side couples had no chemistry. But, as the main couple were over the top good together, I guess that doesn't really matter. Another good points about this drama : good performances, funny moments, adorable leads.

The movie is a bizzare one. The concept was not easy to spot right from the begining. I guess it would have been better if I've watched the drama first, as this one combined everything in such a small length. So, at times, the story got confusing and not easy to keep up with.

That said, the plot was kind of interesting. The main character, Ito, and his "teacher", the woman who was trying to hold on to her past, were two different people and still, almost similar. In the end, it was pointed out that it was a battle between the two of them, at least from the guy's point of view.

In addition, the performances were really good from everyone in the cast.

Familyhood is an entertaining movie that moves the audiance towards the ending. However, the begining was a bit weak. We are presented with an arrogant actress who sees her career coming to an end, her relationship shuttered and her chances of having a family lost. The most, actually, interesting part was the student's story. The movie starts to offer some solid entertainment after the two women start living together and they form a family. However, it goes back to a weak downhill when the leading lady ignores the girl and focuses on her career. That's when the best performances are introduced and the movie hits a darker point. The ending, though, was satisfying. And the character development really good. So, seven out of ten.

For an anime, Jigoku Sensei Nube, this one would have been really good. For a live action, however, things didn't go as great as they should. The story was kind of odd, but cool at the same time. One thing that I really loved was the characters, actually, and, especially, the teachers. However, that demonic hand was not well presented. The action scenes were not good as well and the monsters, although kind of scary, there weren't that interesting. The romance, at least, and the friendship dynamics, as well as the teacher-students relationship, were all good. So, 5 out of 10.

After I've watched Boys over flowers and completely hated it, I was thinking of not even picking up Princess' Hours. Especially since it was twenty four episodes long! But, this drama proved me wrong. It is one of the few times that I couldn't stop watching a drama. The story is catchy and the couple has extremely chemistry, which aids the drama tremendously. Now, there were some trops of that period that the drama followed, like the annoying parents (who were better than others though), the mean mother in law, the love triangle with the second lead being an angel and so making it difficult to not root for him. Plus, some twists were idiotic. But the execution was good and the pace really well managed. So, eight out of ten.

I think that with Korean Drama it's all about timing. If it is your first one, then it will always be dear to your heart. Therefore I can understand why this drama is so loved and one of the most popular korean dramas. However, watching it ten years later, I do fail to see what other saw. The story is okay, too close to a manga story but with the korean notes all over it. However, everything that kept happening were ridiculous. I can't even imagine what the production of it costed, as they went to countless trips, even had a horse race, a car race, sports cars and castles for houses. But it wasn't the riches that spoiled the plot. The amount of cliche twists was unbelievable and I was left wondering if they really used that trop, as most of the events happening were idiotic. Though, there were some parts of the story that I liked. I especially enjoyed the side pair story, as they were cute, and also the start of the drama was really strong.
Now, for the characters; most of them were okay, although the leading lady got a bit annoying eventually with all the screaming and falling while walking. But, the highlight of all was her family. They were basically potrait like caricatures, always pushing the girl to do things she didn't want just to obtain money. The F4 were adorable, so I can't really say much about them (though at first they were really dislikable).
Overall, a lengthy drama, with ridiculous plot, some annoying characters and a good cast : 4 out of 10.

It's not that this movie isn't enjoyable. However, it isn't something you haven't watched before. And because of the lack of originality, I don't believe I will be able to remember this one. The concept of the two boys who meet the shy, outcast girl, was nice. The friendship bonds that were created were sweet and adorable. So, frienship vice, this movie had it right. Romance vice, however, that didn't work out well for them. The couple didn't have many moments together so that the love story be properly developed. So, weak romance, okay story and good performances : 5 out of 10.

Surprisingly, not a bad movie. Though the story is a bit of a let down when it comes to expectations, the overall result is okay, with a satisfying ending and some nice development. Kamanashi Kazuka, whose previous works showed more acting talent than this one, was okay portraying a police officer who is as introverted as it gets and who shuts his young bride out in her every attempt to get closer to him. His female co star is good as well, being all cute and childish, enough to convince that she is way too young for what she is going to attempt. The romance between them is nice, though the movie would have been better if it showed a more realistic plot. But, overall it's enjoyable, so 7 out of 10.
