the girl totally clumsy but good hearted. All that suggested a romantic
story that you all know very well and still you're gonna watch anyway.
But, this movie has something that, at least for me, the rest of the
same plot movies didn't, the great performances. Especially from the
leading lady, who was really good portraying the naive girl who falls
for the bad boy. The romance, on the other hand, was okay, with the
first part of the movie seriously better than the last one. At least
the ending was good, so 6 out of 10.

around you, as well as having a second chance in life. The main
characters are outcasts by their society, misfits that they work
together to produce the best sweet red bean paste pan cakes that
quickly become popular. There is tragedy in the movie, but the
makeshift family that those misfits create is sweet, as only those
three could understand and support each other. The performances are
great, without overdoing it with the dramatic element and thus making
everything more realistic. The scenes are beautiful, with the spring
cherry blossoms the meddle with the people's tragedies. Overall, a nice
film, so 6 out of 10. PS even my mom who avoids Japanese (and non
English films in general) loved it, if that helps.

Good Enough
Korean Drama 'The Defects' is a dark thriller. For a short drama, the story is nicely developed, even though there were some twists that were rushed. Still, the idea was enjoyably unfolded, with a satisfying ending to a frustrating story. They also manage to fit in the main story the children's stories, which added much to the emotional impact of the story. Moreover, the action scenes were entertaining.
Finally, the performances were all great.
So, overall, seven and a half out of ten.

Not Good Enough
Korean Drama 'Tastefully Yours' is a culinary romantic comedy. The drama has nice settings and a good idea behind the plot, but the rest was average. The comedy was overstretched, the politics underdeveloped, and the romance, which was the main ingredient of the drama, failed to impress. It was badly paced and was not convincing. It also lacked intensity and sweet moments. The scenes of the restaurant were nice, though.
Finally, the performances were all great by everyone in the cast.
So, overall, three out of ten.

Good Enough
Korean Drama 'Pump Up the Healthy Love' is a slice-of-life romantic comedy. The drama has an interesting plot and a light mood, with enjoyable comedy and funny characters. The performances were great as well. The fluff of the story continued all the way to the final episodes, which, however, were a let-down. The romance was underdeveloped and was rushed to be added to the story, while the cheesy twists in the end were also rushed and poorly handled. The side stories were also underdeveloped and touched only on the surface.
So, overall, six out of ten.
