For sure. Totally get all of that, and I definitely could (and likely am) making a lot of my own inferences LOL. I think the verdict's still out for me with Bas. Don't get me wrong, I love the kid to death, but I also can't not be honest about his acting potential from what I see haha. I do think he has potential, I'm just not sure if he's reached his peak or not. I will say I think there's been pretty massive growth for him from 2Moons to this, which is a good thing. I've been watching the trailers for his new series with Perth, and I'm expecting big things. He seems to have really taken on a challenge with that role so I'm excited to see if he's able to live up to it. The problem here could also be an issue with the script, or the directing, or even - like you said - the issue of them wanting (and needing) everything to be ambiguous so that they could set up a "choose your own adventure" type of situation at the end of it.

I did enjoy the series but I also wouldn't mind if they delved into other characters and other relationships next season more. There are definitely some characters that intrigue me more than the Wayu/Thanu plotline, even if personally I find it kind of fascinating. Primarily Sab. I could see him being a really strong lead character, with an interesting storyline if done correctly, but I'm still not even 100% sure he's meant to have his own storyline! Jack/Koh as well. I'll reserve my expectations though because Bas is the big-ticket item in all this, which is why I think this season revolved so much around him to begin with, even though technically it was supposed to be Mark and Kit's season. I have a feeling next season is going to be primarily around him and whichever storyline gets voted on by fans. I really enjoyed our chat!

Yeah, I totally get it. Though I guess I saw Wayu's character in a different perspective that I don't think people allowed because he was a male character going through not only a break-up, but I would say the withdrawal that comes from a highly manipulative relationship. Yes, his whole world revolved around Pha, but I think Pha made sure of that. Wayu is obviously someone who is easily led, he's a passive character who likes someone to "take the lead" or be dominant. That's obvious even just looking at his friendship with Mark. The problem is that Pha took advantage of that, and was like that but on steroids. From my point of view his character was borderline abusive with how manipulative he is, both mentally and emotionally. We also know he's been lying and manipulating him from the beginning to keep him at his side. Something that was very painful for Wayu when he found out. Every time Wayu seemed to be getting over him and moving on, he was right there reminding him and confusing him. He got hurt every time Pha decided to poke back in, it brought everything back like new, so he was never fully allowed to move on which was all in Pha's plan, he never wanted Wayu to move on. The problem was that Wayu and Thanu forged a healthy connection that now rivals what he had with Pha, something I think Pha doesn't like and is the reason he's going to be a dick and come back into the picture.

It's interesting for me to see that no one really seemed to pay attention to how much he changed with Thanu at his side, he slowly started blossoming out of the obsessive haze I think Pha made sure he stayed under. For example, his speaking up for himself to Jack and Koh, when he felt they were crossing a line. I mean he chose Thanu and that was made very clear, there was determination in that choice. Whereas with Pha he was never really given a choice to make up his own mind about what he wanted, Pha was just always there. I'll also point out the way he stood up to Padbok and didn't back down from him, even though he wasn't in a relationship with Thanu, he felt enough for him that he didn't want to see him hurt, even if he only ever ended up being a friend to him. From my perspective, there was quite a bit of character development, and I thought it was interesting that every time Pha pulled that string (one he knew would get a reaction from Wayu) you could see him start to shake out of it more quickly. It got to the point that Pha was able to send him the flowers, and he ignored them for Thanu's. He even looked honestly disturbed when he got that note and ring. So I definitely don't think they were leading to "wow, Pha's such a prince" anymore, but rather were building up throughout the show what a manipulative ass he was. I mean Pha's the one who's clearly obsessed with Wayu, them showing him constantly surveilling him was just creepy. And I think this was something that became clearer and clearer to Wayu the more time he spent with Thanu - who while still someone he could depend on (since he does like that) - wasn't ever someone who tried to consume his life and his decisions. Then you consider that he's finally feeling like he's got back control of his life and his emotions, and the rug gets pulled out from under him when someone makes it look like Thanu's been playing him and not being honest. From Wayu's perspective, he just got manipulated AGAIN, so yeah, devastating.

I'll also say, as much as people felt he was being a "poor me" character with Thanu, in all of their interactions he was just honest. I don't really get what people expected him to do. He was falling in love with Thanu, but he also didn't want to stand in his way if he had feelings for someone else? He also now knew that Thanu had been roped into "taking care" of him or being around him. Which I'll also point out was another perfect manipulation tactic from Pha, Wayu was always going to question whether Thanu actually had feelings for him or just felt sorry for him and like he had to stick around. He kept telling Thanu that while yes, Wayu did have feelings for him, he wanted him to pick whoever he wanted to be with and not just stick with him because he felt he had to. I mean think, if you were having that conversation with someone you were in love with who you suspected might have feelings for someone else, isn't that a reason to be sad and cry? I don't know, I just feel like people are harder on characters who 1. are easily manipulated and trusting and 2. aren't forceful, confident, or in your face. Not everyone has a "fighter" personality. In fact, I would say it's likely more common for people to not have a very confident, in your face type of personality. It's clearly just me haha since so many people had a different opinion but I felt like Wayu really got the short end of the stick. He was a deeper character than people gave him credit for, but I think it was harder to see that because I don't quite think Bas has the acting depth to portray the nuances there.

Well, as was suspected and discussed haha there will be a vote to determine who the final pairing is for Wayu. People have been warning those watching this was going to happen so as not to get hung-up on an ending because it wasn't decided yet. It's the reason everything was so ambiguous from the beginning as StarHunter wanted a "choose your own adventure" for fans, it was also an easy way to get people to buy the sponsor's product. Knowing Bas is the most popular of any of the cast they took advantage, so it'll be interesting knowing Bas' fans will have control of the ending. I think one of the biggest problems is that international fans who don't follow the official channels had no way of knowing this was what was coming so they expected something totally different...anyway since the couple that has been promotionally pushed the most has been Wayu/Thanu and it's the one fans are pushing for the most as well because of Dun/Bas lol I'm thinking that's going to be the final pairing. Though there is the option for a Wayu Alone that fans might prefer also...I guess we'll have to wait and see. Voting ends in March for those who are interested.

So...not going to lie one of the most bizarre, out there plots I've seen in awhile (that have still kept me intrigued haha). I think part of why that is, is just because it's a literal guessing game what could actually happen at this point. I'm here for the unraveling of this dense knot of threads, it's like a mystery.

Ok. So...from my perspective, I still feel like Thanu and Wayu are endgame. It might be that my interpretation is like this because I always felt they were meant for each other, but I don't know. At first, I considered if perhaps Thanu had two "destinies" or paths. You know how people say that in points in your life there are going to be choices you make that decide which path on a fork in your life you might take. One choice will lead you down a completely separate path than the other choice would have, but either could have been a viable "destiny" right? So say the fork in Thanu's life is the choice between Wayu and Phai, that could be why he seems to have a connection to both of them and why he had those images of a "potential" future with Phai. That could still fit but now, especially with Pha coming back (which I had suspected might happen), I'm thinking a little differently.

I truly think Thanu's destiny is Wayu, BUT I think there are obstacles getting in the way of that destiny that could, if they sway his feelings, alter that. So what we know is Thanu and Wayu were "destined" to meet. He felt a pull toward Wayu when he was about to be hurt and that should have been the start of something for them. We know that Wayu's first love should have been Thanu but an obstacle got in the way, which was Pha who lied to him and let him believe it was actually him. Now...I think people could say, well doesn't that mean then that Pha is Wayu's destiny if he keeps interfering? Mm...I don't think so, because he's doing so on the basis of a lie for one, and the way he's been portrayed up to this point as this shadowy, possessive character (I mean the music when Wayu saw the "ring" was like...ominous lol) to me means there's something discordant in his love for Wayu. I definitely think he wants him and has feelings for him but I don't think he's selfless enough to just let Wayu be happy with who he's meant to be with...that doesn't spell true love to me but hey, that's just my interpretation. Also, I really think he's a shitty person whose been playing a game with Wayu's feelings, which I'll talk about next.

Now, we know that Wayu and Thanu were destined to meet again regardless. Thanu was coming back to school and considering his peer-mentor (or whatever he is) was Kit, it would mean eventually they were going to meet anyway. Of course, Pha wouldn't have known that but...I'm beginning to suspect maybe...just maybe because he DID know Thanu was returning...he was trying to test to see if the "love" between him and Wayu was strong enough to withstand Thanu coming back. They've kind of alluded to the fact that Pha has never really left. He hasn't wanted to completely erase himself from Wayu's life, and it seems like he pops back up just when he suspects Wayu might be wavering. It's clear he's been watching him this whole type (I'm sorry but creepy af) if we think about how he seems to know what Wayu's up to and that scene where they showed the darkened white car parked when ThanuxWayu were walking away holding hands. Now all the sudden we're seeing him raise the bar in trying to "remind" Wayu about their love. It's not working so he's decided it's time for him to come back. I'm sorry but he's just such a shithole, I can't stand him. I'm wondering if he left and sent Thanu to Wayu as a way of testing Wayu's love because he knows Wayu felt this instant connection to his "savior". Now he's out to prove that he's able to still get Wayu to come back to him even with THanu in the picture. I feel like Pha might think if he gets Wayu to choose him even after he's developed the feelings he should have had with Thanu from the beginning it means they're meant to be and their relationship is solid. I also find the allusion with the music box really interesting...Wayu breaks the music box (could be an allusion to his love for Thanu) because of Pha but it's fixed like new with the help of his best friends. There's a reason they showed that seemingly innocuous scene, just saying... any way, yes crazy theory I know, but bear with me LOL.

Now there's the Phai element. I do think that the "visions" he had with Phai were legitimate. I think they could still play out, but I think because Thanu is still questioning things even in those visions, I'm thinking Wayu is still in his heart. Say Pha is back and starts disrupting things, especially now that we had another instigator (Sandee) who sent the drawing to Wayu and that makes him question if Thanu really wants to be with him. That leads to them separating, then the scene between him and Phai where Phai is asking if he can still love him even if "someone else is in his heart" and then they end up in a relationship. Then do PhaixThanu stay in a relationship or is there more that comes after that, which includes again the issue of Thanu seeming to still love Wayu? I don't think, judging from the way this series has gone that they would just show the "ending" of PhaixWayu happy together, if you get my drift lol something is going to come after that, but what? I guess my question still is, which of the two is destiny? WayuxThanu who this whole time keep being drawn together even when outside forces try to break them up, or ThanuxPhai who may end up together because outside forces got between WayuxThanu? Now if we're talking a true love conquers all type of destiny then I would say it's WayuxThanu, but who the heck knows! Obviously (if you couldn't tell by this ridiculously long theory post) super curious to find out lmao. I'd love to hear what everyone else thinks!

Whew, what a roller coaster! I went into this series with very low expectations and I actually came out enjoying it. I know a lot of other people didn't feel the same, which I get. Just to spitball I think one reason might be because they started getting attached to a situation that didn't happen, and I don't think was ever going to happen if you consider the whole run of the series, which was Phai and Thanu getting together. I'm kind of bummed to see so many people shit on Wayu's character, I've seen it happen before with male characters who are emotional, and more demure/passive (like Pete in LBC) and it's disappointing every time. I mean characters should be diverse right? And I really think it's this idea that men shouldn't be "whiny babies" or aren't allowed to be submissive/passive - which I think is a pretty problematic way of thinking - that is the cause for this. Like men who are more sensitive, or actually cry when they're hurt/upset or happy are somehow "less". I don't know, I just don't like it. I liked that his character was kind and sensitive, throughout the whole show he was a fantastic friend and I thought he really tried to be empathetic to what everyone was feeling, even when it put his feelings at stake. I liked that he was in touch with his emotions but maybe it's just because I tend to be pretty emotional too LOL.

I am absolutely in love with the fact that Mark and Kit were able to just be a lovey couple (well as lovey as Kit can possibly be haha) and I really hope they continue to show their relationship through positive healthy growth in the next season. I mentioned this before but...wedding on the horizon? Anyone? I could actually see them getting married if we don't get any of the problematic tropes thrown in to spice things up haha they can reserve the drama for the other characters tbh. Which I think really works. I'm not saying they had the perfect solution for this but it's never good when there's no real plot to move things forward and just a bunch of fluff moments. We've actually seen that happen in series where nothing really happens (like in Oxygen) and people HATED it because it was boring. You can't have it both ways lol either you want a zero plot, happy love story or you want the drama to make things interesting. I liked that they kept the drama out of Mark and Kit's relationship after they got together and moved it to secondary characters. I'm hoping they'll keep to that format in the next season.

So TLDR was this an amazingly produced and written series? No. Should you expect to like/enjoy it? Meh, probably a 50/50 chance and that's fair. Did I enjoy it? Yes, but I also knew not to expect much either so I think that helped hah. I'll definitely be checking out season two. I mean after that cliffhanger I have to, they've triggered my need to always know how something ends haha but aside from that I am looking forward to it.

Thanu gave Wayu the white flowers, the red flowers are from Pha. That's why they showed the scene where he got two, white and red and he chose the white. In the beginning he kept getting red flowers from Pha and the in the scene where they were throwing flower petals at him Pha was throwing red petals and Thanu was throwing white. Also Thanu always signs with a bow and arrow.

Truly I'm curious, how much time you have on your hands that you come on here and spend so much time commenting under three different usernames (War Freak, Brutally Honest, Super Natural). You're even responding to your self. It's so obvious, and it's just...sad. What is even the purpose? To promote this failed series? I hope you're getting paid for the promotion, but if you aren't please consider seeking more productive ways to fill your time.

Yeah, I'm totally out when it's a consent issue, unless they're portraying the situation accurately (i.e. no love sequence that follows). I won't even try to make an angle out of it and explain the "well...maybe..." like some fans try to do, it's a straight up nope for me. I know for a fact there is one couple that does have the "rape to love" (er...actually I think it's more torture to love similar to Hin and Tul) trope, but the author said the writers are re-writing their story, and supposedly have come out saying that they won't romanticize anything "immoral" in the series. So, I'm not necessarily holding my breath, but I'm hopeful hah. I felt positive about the teaser showing the "other person" Kinn might be sleeping with or having a relationship with is also a man, so kudos for that. I'm here for them depicting a strong, unapologetically gay character. It's sad to me how rare that is in a genre that's supposed to be about male love.

I'm beyond excited for KinnPorsche as long as the writing holds up to the production, I think we're in for something special. I also really like when the dive into characters that aren't really black or white in an intelligent way, I mean I don't exactly think the main characters in KinnPorsche are necessarily going to be what people consider "good" lol so it'll be interesting to see how they handle that.

That was actually Tat next to Tan that Por was asking him to kill. Tat had introduced Phong to the gang, so he became one of Tan's men (like Tat is). We don't see Phong because he ran off and Tan let him go, that's what they're fighting about. Por had asked Tan to hunt Phong down and kill him for stealing from him. Tan did but he says he "lost him" at the border, meaning he escaped. Por knows that he's lying and actually let him go, which he accuses him of. Then he says, well since you couldn't kill Phong then I'm going to kill Tat because he's the one who brought him (introduced him).

It probably doesn't help that the names are so similar lol but I'll try to explain. The two legitimate brothers are Por and Pued, Por is the oldest and leads the gang. Tan is the illegitimate brother who starts working under Por in the gang, he leads his own group of men for the gang (under the pseudonym Dam). Tat and Phong are Tan's men. Phong stole a bunch of money from Por and ran away, betraying Tan. In the first scene, we see Por (the oldest brother) yelling at Tan because he let Phong go. Por had asked Tan to hunt Phong down and kill him for stealing from him. Tan did but pretended like he "lost" him at the border, meaning he escaped. Por knows that Tan's lying and he actually let him go. So he says, ok since you couldn't kill Phong I'm going to kill Tat (standing behind Tan in that scene) because he's the one who brought Phong. Tat basically introduced Phong to the gang, and that's how he became one of Tan's men. If you don't remember Tat is the one who likes Sorawit, and he's always with Tan. In the first episodes of the series we learn he works for "Dam" and then we find out that Dam is Tan. Tan says no he won't kill Tat, and that's when Pued comes running in to stand between them.

In the scene where Por is still accusing Tan of killing Pued, Tan reminds him of the fact that he can't kill. He says if he would have killed one of his brothers (between Por or Pued) it would have been Por because they hate each other. He says if I couldn't kill Phong, who he wasn't even related to and who betrayed him, how could he kill one of his brothers who are the only two people left in his family (meaning Por and Pued). It's a little confusing because of how its translated in the subtitles I think hah.

Mine too! Suspense/action is definitely more my lane. While I can appreciate some fluff as much as the next person, and I do have some favorite BL that aren't exactly hard-edge lol I'm really excited with the new direction some of the plots are taking, particularly in 2021. I'll be honest in saying I'll take an action movie over a romcom any day haha

Gripping! That's the best word to describe the series right now. I appreciate that we had a slow lead up in the first episodes because they've laid an excellent foundation for everything that was to follow. Episode 10 was the best one yet and I've been saying that since like episode 7 lol I'm pretty certain about my takeaways for the ending, but I can't wait to see them play out in the next few episodes.

Can I also add how both touching and cute it was that Tat was projecting himself happy with Sorawit to mentally take himself out of his current situation.

Lol well I've kind of cheated in that I've read the novel (the first one) and I've been following the cast outside the show (I keep up with Bas, Kim, and Cop). Bas/Dun who are promoting together have said some interesting things around destiny and them "being together" that have kind of led me to make my own conclusions about what's going on haha. It's definitely a complicated and convoluted storyline, and from what I've seen of the other comments I don't think it's just you!

That and everybody is dead. The only two left are Dong and Vee...how do you have another series with two characters? LOL The only thing I can think of is that there'll be some kind of resurrection and I swear more bizarre things happened in this series. It's strange because the vibes I originally got from the opening sequence was that they were all some coven of dark witches, that would actually have been kind of rad ngl even if the writing isn't great. I was pretty impressed with the pagan/Wiccan references in the spells and invocations, they did a good job with those. It's a waste that we didn't get the strong female characters that weren't portrayed as psychotic and man obsessed. I was hoping for a character more like Jennifer in the beginning before she went off the rails.

Such a great, heartwarming movie. It's definitely a tear-jerker but the kind of tears you get when you're moved and touched. The cinematography is also beautiful! Definitely, one I would recommend.

The acting in this was stellar, I was particularly impressed with Narita Ryo. There were certain moments, certain scenes where I was left stunned. Not only is he completely alluring and captivating in the same dissonant way a member of the Panthera genus might be, you could feel every gut-wrenching emotion. All the insecurities, the paranoia, the consuming nature of his obsessive love, the protective shroud of his affected aloofness, the dichotomy in his want to pull away but the lure to stay. There was a painful fragility to the character that the actor was able to pull off so perfectly there were moments I was truly anxious. The direction and production were also excellent, with the overall mood of the film feeling raw, melancholy, and portentous.

The characters were incredibly flawed but they didn't keep from portraying that fully. You're not left fooled about the realities of who they are and what their relationship is and evolves into. I don't think you're supposed to know quite what to feel at the end of this. Perhaps a little introspective, perhaps a little sad, perhaps even at some level a sense of relatability. I wouldn't necessarily say the ending is sad, but everything about the film is fatalistic enough to leave you feeling like perhaps it should be. I hadn't read the manga so I wasn't sure what I would be getting, but I was completely engrossed from start to finish.

The best thing about this series *cough* other than the gorgeous cast *cough* was Bart and Brendalynnes's beautiful friendship. Get you a friend that will not only laugh with you in your moments of joy but cry with you in your moments of pain. The ending especially just felt so anticlimactic and just meh, even though I did like the "life lesson" they were trying to portray. I think there were other ways they could have brought about the same sentiment that wasn't so confusing and divergent from the build-up of the whole show. I'm guessing there will be a season two? Anyway, I don't know I felt like while the series had some great potential it, unfortunately, fell flat for me.
