hello too! thanks for adding me. I took a look at your list and found lots of movies you had liked that I haven't even heard of. I will check them closely!
I've recently watched an interesting movie called "I have to buy new shoes". i watched it despite Mukai Osamu that I don't really like, and thought it would be a basic rom-com. I was totally fooled by the poster, it was far more "serious" than expected. Not a masterpiece, but a charming movie.

When you're in the mood for a drama with a more "serious" theme, I would highly recommend Mother. So many people told me it was great, but I didn't expect to like it that much (I rated it 10, and I don't like to rate dramas a 10).
For Kami no Shizuku, I totally agree, especially concerning the brother (too fake imo), but i'm in need of a light watch at the moment.
From those you've listed, i've only seen Asuko March. I remember to have found it surprisingly not that bad (I was expecting another "baka" J-drama for teenagers). I'm tempted by Q10. I don't watch much K-dramas but it seems that That winter, the wind blows was a very good one (I remember very good impressions on the feeds). Maybe I should add it on my PTW list too?
I understand your urge for movies. I'm trying to watch more (one per week, that's all the time I can afford atm.) i'll take a look at your list for inspiration!

Btw, i'm from France (in the countryside). you'll see we are a lot of Europeans on the website. but that's really nice to meet so many dramafans from all around the world. sure you'll meet lots of nice people here.
I'll take a close look at your list, it seems we have similar tastes, so i will certainly give a try at those you rated high.

whaou! you're really a fan! I only know them for a year and a half but, well, I do fall in love with them as a band. My favourite was Sakurai, but I lost confidence since I read some bad things about him (I know i'm not a nice fan, but sometimes his way of treating fans disappoints me. Yet, i still adore him). I also love Ohno-san a lot, especially since the beginning of Kagi no kakatta Heya (Enomoto Kei is actually my fav character in Dramaland). I even bought this year's T-shirt because of him (and Kusuma-san too, that's a strange yet nice artistic pairing). I watched the SP but need some subs to rate it. Ohno moved me during the family scene around the table.
But I love them all, and i'm always so happy to see them interact with each other, that's what makes my life easier since I know them. what about you? who's your favorite? What do you like the most about them?

Hello girl! I'm fine, thanks a lot. What about you?
Lately I've watched Mother, and that was such a beautiful drama. Have you watched it? (I confess I didn't dare making a search among your amazing list...). But the theme was heavy, so I've just started watching Kami no Shizuku. unrealistic and too much manga-like, but that's refreshing. Plus Kamenashi-san is not so bad, though being so young (for me I mean...)
I don't dare asking you what you're currently watching... Everytime i'm on the "which drama episode..." thread, I can see you with a new drama. And if I remember well the feeds, you're also working! how do you manage to do all that things?!! Do you sleep sometimes?
That reminds me i should go take a look at your movie list (and send a friend's request in the same time).
Oh i'm too talkative tonight. Just one last thing : what was your last favourite(s) drama(s)?

thanks a lot for accepting the request. and welcome to MDL since you're pretty new on the site!
I've seen your avatar on the Kagheya SP page and it stroke me since i've got the same (not the same picture, of course; never thought of using it on the site...). Have you watched the 36th NTV 24hr show (don't know in what order I should put it)? Are you maybe an Arashi fan (I confess I watched it mostly because of Arashi)? Have you watched the special?
I took a look at your list, which is surprisingly quite big for a new member. When did you start watching Asian dramas?
hope it's not too many questions at a time. I'm a talkative girl. I can't help asking lots of things when meeting someone.
hope you'll enjoy the website, there are really great and nice people here. see you soon!

Hello! Hope you're okay.
I just wanted to thank you for recommending me Bara no nai Hanaya that I've finished finally this week. It was a nice and heartwarming drama. The little girl was so cute, and though Eiji was a strange too nice character, I really enjoyed the love story. So if you've got other recs, I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
By the way, what are you watching at the moment?
thanks for this funny article! I totally adore Mizushima, and he was certainly my first Japanese crush. i kind of agree, he tends to be really perfect. I adored him in Hana Kimi (loved the funny scenes with the gay guy), and fell totally for him in Mei-chan no Shitsuji. I don't remember any scene in this one where he doesn't look gorgeous.
Do not worry, I guess there were lots of girls who screamed when reading he was coming back. I'm looking forward to his next movie even if i'm not interested at all in Kuroshitsuji. I want to see him again in a butler uniform!
will add Beck and 100 scene no koi on my PTW list so thanks again.

it's easy, i tend to be older than almost every MDLer (I know there are exceptions though).
Concerning Bara... I put it on hold but every time I watch the name I'm telling myself " you've got to see it". Sometimes, I just need someone to push me a little to start something. I'm just afraid it could turn out really sad... the little girl really moved me in the first episode. I'll watch it for sure!
Black & White : is it the taiwanese one? It looks interesting and funny (hope it is), and I put it on my PTW list. I like when contrasting characters have to team up. You pretty well understand my likings.
Thanks a lot, and feel free to add some more!

not at all! I would really appreciate some recommendations! I'm about to finish Orange Days, and i'm pretty sure i will be confused after that. Plus it makes me realize i've missed very good dramas. I don't mind if it's oldies or new dramas. so if you've got some good tips, thanks in advance!

hello and thanks a lot for the friend's request! I see you pretty everywhere but never sent one, don't really know why. All the more that I remember very well you are from Belgium : i've lived in the North of France for 6 years before I moved last year. I took a look at your blog, seems really interesting (I even learnt some things on JE!). nice to find another VS Arashi fan. I love them all in this show, it cheers me a lot (sorry for my bad english sometimes). And I was also attracted in the world of Japanese Idols thanks to Shuji to Akira, I even tried to re-do the choregraphy (yeah you can see how silly a 30 and more year-old woman can be). I failed miserably, of course... I'm a big fan of Arashi, and like a lot their songs (even if they aren't great ones).
I don't really know Kamenashi, so if you've got rec of good dramas with him, i would be glad to try them. Once again, thanks!
