thanks for the article!!! I wish I could have some of them as my teddy bear! I like most of your choices concerning J-dramas (i haven't watch the korean ones, so I cannot make any statement). Akira in Nobuta was a wonderful character (my favorite one so far), but I also liked a lot Yamamoto (I prefer him in HanaKimi though I'm a big fan of Suoh Tamaki) and Tegoshi in YNSH. well, in fact Tegoshi and Yamamoto are always so cute in their dramas. and so they seem in real life. Thanks for recolling us of so many sweet characters that are also what makes those Asian dramas so funny and entertaining !!!

Thanks for the request!
have you started Yamada-kun to 7 nin no Majo? Is it good (or at least not too bad)? I'm planning to watch it too, only because I really adore Yamamoto Yusuke-kun. hope it won't be too disappointing.

Article The Love That Never Was Spoiler
Thanks a lot for this article, I like the idea, and i'm glad i'm not the only one despaired by couples that never ends together! and I do so agree, especially about Yamapi's ones (i'm also a big Yamapi fan).
TSURARA YOSHIKAWA and KUROSAKI : i was waiting for a new special. but it's been a long time ago. My very first big frustration in Dramaland. Same with CB, but less frustrated.
Concerning LG, the ending of the movie gave me more hopes, and in my mind too, those two are together, somewhere in a far away country in Dramaland.
TOMA SAYA and SEBUMI TAKERU : we can still have hopes, the next two movies might give us big surprise...
I'm also a big fan of love stories that aren't even contemplated by screenwriters in dramas : I wished more between Enomoto and Aoto in KnkH, Tottori and Tajima in Juui Dolittle... and in almost every J-drama in fact!

and thanks a lot for your honest answer.
I'm trying to imagine how things can be hard at work, especially in periods of recessions. But on the other way you can be proud of yourself when some of your projects are successful. I'm always so amazed by people who are able to go forward and take risks for doing what they want, no matter the costs. Typically the kind of things i'm unable to do... It seems that in every enterprise, things are difficult in the beginning, but could go easier when the reputation is well established. i'm wishing you to succeed in your enterprise and hoping to see one day one (or several)of your productions.
as for men... i'm only realising now that Prince Charming does not exist (I know, it took me more than 30 years to understand that). I'm pretty sure i've missed good people only because they didn't fit my criteria at the moment... and now I want an Asian guy!

Concerning Petty Romance, how to put it... I liked it, and it makes me laugh a couple of times. That's definitely not what I was expecting, but that was enjoyable and, in some kind of ways refreshing. I was surprised by the realistic way they dealt with the plot, compared to all the romance stories i've watch in Dramaland previously. And I especially enjoyed the way the female lead was described. Touching in so many kind of ways. Seeing this actor (i'm unable to remember his name) in this kind of roles makes me realise that men are really much more pervert than what i'm expecting from them... (his character was far more romantic in Coffee Prince and that's how I like to see men, even if they are not really like that IRL).
but I think that's not the kind of movie I should watch in my parent's house... I will wait next week to watch the second you recommended, when I will be back home...

thanks a lot for accepting my request. Though i've seen you around the forum almost everywhere i'm going, i've never realised we had some similar tastes (about J-dramas, i'm not a k-dramas watcher), but your profile attracted me a lot! I liked most of your favorite characters in J-dramas...
What you are saying concerning Hanzawa Naoki makes me contemplate the idea of watching it, though this is typically the kind of plot i'm avoiding. is it still worthy after a couple of episodes?

I haven't watch anything since I came back last week, but i'm just about to start Petty Romance. The fact this man of Coffee Prince is in it is a big plus!
It's hard for me to understand how things can be difficult for you (do you run your own business?), but I do agree about this necessity to be financially totally independant. Nevertherless, I think it's good to have someone next to you who can support you (even with money when needed). That's maybe because I knew i would very likely spend most of my life alone that I wanted so much to have security at work. That's how being a civil servant is usefull. I like being independant, but still I don't like working. i'm under the impression I'm becoming totally dumb, literally.
About not having what you want.. well i'm unable to have the men I want, so I can understand what you mean... though I think the fault is totally mine.

you were well organised, in fact. I kept tracks on a small sheet of paper before I discovered this site, and the sheet was full before I decided to join MDL. Glad I did it, I hope you will enjoy the site as much as I do.

Don't worry, and thanks for the recs. I will try them, movies indeed can be a good way to re-start my addiction (i haven't watch a drama since my return, didn't know what to choose). I was also tempted by Pasta, I think there is this cute actor from Coffee Prince in it. Have you watched it? if yes, is it a good one (no need to be something outstanding)?

I do understand your feelings concerning becoming a working woman(though, contrary to you, i've never been interested in becoming independant). As a civil servant, i'm less concerned by the recession, but I can clearly see around me how things are difficult for young workers nowadays (and not only young ones, in fact). I wish I could have grown up in the sixties, in France that sounded so much more funny and interesting than in the nineties...

Wow you've got a very long completed list for someone relatively new on this website! We seem to have the same taste in dramas, so I should try some high rating dramas of your list.

Article Drama Problems
thanks for this funny article! the problems i'm facing the most are the first, second and fourth problems (eating asian noodles in front of a drama is like the perfect moment of life sometimes!!). And I don't see why the tenth problem IS a problem. Everybody knows every MDLer has super high expectations considering the plot when choosing a drama...
THATCRAZYOTAKU Aug 8, 2013
thanks a lot for this stalker guide!!! Narimiya is also one of my favorite and I do agree he is so Hot!!!. I first discovered him in Yankee-kun... but didn't like the drama. But his role in Juui Dolittle totally moved me and make him one of my favorite. I find him so cute in it, and I love his character so much. i really liked his relationship with Oguri. I also liked him a lot in Bloody Monday and Nana movies. And I also totally loved that hairstyle in Phoenix...
I 've also watched Innocent love and Honey and Clover, and Narimiya's characters were the only one I liked in them.
Orange Days is on my PTW list for ages, need to watch it soon.

thanks for the article. really happy to see that KAzoku Game gained so many awards, i think it really deserved it. And Sakurai was just amazing in it, no wonder he made it.
I haven't seen many of them though, so I will definitely check out Amachan, Soratobu Kouhoushitsu and 35-sai no Koukousei.
I hope you will continue to give us those results every season.

Thanks for the article. i hardly watch dramas with children (except if there are Arashi members in them...) but I do agree that Ishii Momoka was really cute in My girl.
Do you plan to make a boy version : I would suggest Kamiki Ryunosuke in Namida wo fuite, where he was so cute (well, he is 20 now and still remains cute imo)?
On Fujiki Naohito Jul 19, 2013
otanjoubi omedetou! An actor i'm always happy to see in a drama, and aging make him even more handsome!
