This K-drama went from a 9 to an 8 and then to a 7 for me. I just hope it doesn’t drop any further. The only thing saving this drama is Go Hyun-jung, one of my favorite actresses. As for Jang Dong-yoon, Lee El, and Cho Seong-ha, they’re not bad actors, but their characters are poorly written. On top of that, one of the weakest points of the story is the team in charge of solving the case: how are they supposed to catch a slippery serial killer with a squad that conspires against their own chief and looks more like kids playing cops? And Min Jae was a completely wasted character.

It might just be me, but Su-yeol really seems to get jealous and annoyed whenever Min-jae calls Jeong I-shin “mother.” Feels like behind that whole moral superiority vibe and those repressed emotions, there’s actually someone pretty possessive.

Thanks for the recommendation! I’ll keep it in mind once I finish the ones I’ve got on hold. It has a great cast, so it definitely looks promising.
