I will say it has a romance undetone, mostly between the ML / FL but takes half the series to you get to anything romance wise outside of flirting and banter. I'm actually surprised there (thus far) not been other relationships as there are plenty of young people to pair up, see their lives.

If you look at the show as Ep 1 - Divorce (Ep 16) its one story arc, we are now starting the 2nd story arc Ep 17 - ? dealing with Emperor & court and then likely story arc 3 to show they now shared future etc. At least thats why guess

Reality its clear to many that they do have feelings for each other but IMO thats just mutual attraction, liking someone. How does she even know what 'love' is? Correction - WR did not steal the land & farm, it was given as compensation instead of having his foot (feet) chopped off.
We didn't see the areas hit by the arrows as it was zoomed in but looked mostly like leg, arms so nothing fatal, until WR gave him a beatdown.
