Man did my post about WR cousin not age well. What a pyscho. It seems her & crown prince have a S&M fetish or something. And why would WR trust / take anyone into her circle. Clearly a spy for the cousin and up to no good.

To be fair there have been many flash backs to show actions or conversations WR had after some event / drama occurs to fill in

If WR truely had feelings for Qi or anyone else she would not outright tell her just married Husband. She used jealousy to test Lu and see if he had feelings for her or just viewed her as the arranged marriage. Keep in mind there was high chance he would not wake, survive his wounds. The whole first story arc was the scheme to get fake WR out of the marriage, not realizing they actually put real WR in her place. I'll have to go back on how they selected WR, I thought it was based purely on her looking like fake WR.

So I agree the flirting, though not in good taste for the era or in general relationship etiquette was done to provoke Lu to take action

True but there was the actions in the fake attack as well her doting on him having a cut on his hand. I don't know what she feels as outside Lady Li is her birth mother - they share no time together outside of when she was a baby and was switched. So WR is likely slowing coming to terms with their relationship and what it can be.

I don't think WR will open herself up to get hurt more (emotionally).

I felt bad for WR cousin (Shou?) as she seems like a genuine good person and wants to be kind and her friend. So her Mother-in-Law is the scheming one that they dealt with.

I see signs of WR feeling out what the future ladies of court / families should be to move the Kingdom forward. So perhaps all this is to see who remains and she can trust.

The maid is a spy from Empress, so assume she will answer to her for how things went down.

I think they both have a vision of how to better run the Kingdom and care for people. I think WR will be bored after she deals with everyone who has slighted her LOL

I don't know why he falls for every trap and rushes right in only to have it blow up in his face.

I know many swoon over the relationship / romance aspect but I still don't see this as a romance series, yes it has elements and plots between FL / ML but thats been a slow burn that I don't think will be focus until the last episodes,

IMO this is a revenge series all dressed up.

No. he's too fragile for the title. While I don't think he is 'bad' like the other sons he is too young and lacks experience.

Well if I follow what was laid out around the men that would be crown prince, she has already dealt with two, so there is still 1 or 2 noble families left.

This was a double blow to Empress as the eldest son, was stripped of his rank, the alignment with Han family exposed so Emperor is catching onto her scheming.

I am still waiting to actually see Han be punished, like chop his head off or make him a Eunuch.

I'm sure she knows the maid who was working with Han came from Empress and she seemed to be feeding information back via Han or otherwise. When she was running she said 'need to inform my mistress' or something like that before running into Han in the forest.

I don't believe for a second they are loving Mother & Daughter, she still spots how she treats she son and her and see's the lack of love, concern from her Mother. WR has a larger scheme so like Qi is kept around for what they can do.

Well if you look at it from early episodes (fake WR to WR) LZ definately did NOT like fake WR due to her spoiled temperment. Even though fake WR wanted him it was more for position and not feelings. She attacked Grandtutor's granddaughter as she knew LZ enjoyed her company and likely her demeanor & intelligence.

So along comes WR and she is her own woman, with her own plans & ideas and doesn't accept (or want) to just be a wife. So beyond her beauty I think is his main draw as well she toys with his feelings and plays coy. He likely is used to being fawned over by other young ladies of the kingdom etc.
