Like a lot of commenters had said it, it took me years to finally watched this gem of a drama. And it was not a disappointment. All the actors were phenomenal especially IU. She blew me away with her restraint performance ( the Director,kudos 🙌🏼), the subtle variations of the way she looked into the camera, her demeanor, walk, just everything. Lee Sun Kyun- chefs kiss! The things I wasn’t satisfied was the lame conclusion they gave the 3rd brother, wanted to know more about the monk and the snack/bar lady’s history. I also wanted her to spent more time with the snack/bar family 💗 Hopefully with the remake they won’t watered it down🤞🏼.
Believe me the train has just stalled on the platform lol. Imo, his reaction is just him projecting because her “body’ is not physically there and can be seen as creepy but all throughout this first season, his jealousy is just been simmering and he will do things to XY that are irreversible to their bond.

Oh do please read it. It’s worth your time, especially the dialogue and banter. The subs from wetv or Viki sometimes missed 2-3 words or they changed the entire meaning of a sentence, quite frustrating, so reading the novel and then watched the drama elevate it. You are not alone it replaying certain scenes again and again 🤣😅

Just to clarify, in the novel/ drama Jing was not rap*ed, he was drugged by good ol’ Grammy.He was only in the same bed with the bish. He used his power to control his “urges” because he will not surrender to someone in her bedroom and on her bed. Afterwards, Jing would feel very disgusted by it and tried to scrub away the 🤮memories. The person who had something to tell him was Hou’s wife, which was ki*led by him (novel FFYY did it). The sis-in-law hinted to Jing that the baby looked a lot like the late Grandpa(Hou look like him)

I agreed with your perspective! It took them almost 6 months to film this epic drama( usual is 3 months) April-September 2022. It showed in their post -production, only thing that was iffy was some of the CGI. The rest was 👏🏽. The scriptwriter was also the original author, so that helped out a lot to retain the dialogues. This is one of my favorite novel and the author and her team of writers did really well in adapting it into this drama
