Actually this version his subordinate comes off as a bootlicker/brownnoser/sycophant. I only remember the OG subordinate as a stereotypical screaming Korean office supervisor who berated the ML constantly

Just waiting for Gu Chen’s downfall and wipe that perpetual smirk off his arrogant face. This actor is perfectly playing this character to a tee. He is more irritating that the OG character.

Netflix is doing it again with terrible translations. I don’t understand Korean but when you watched enough of it, I also know that they missed a lot, especially hong’s sisters’ dialogues. Such a huge network but sucks at finding competent translators lol🫩

The Hong sisters are known for their bantering, sprinkle with lots of meaningful words. Sometimes it’s not translated well at Netflix lol
