This was not on my watch list but got curious about the undercover premise. Not into the financial jargon but it’s quite watchable and hilarious, especially the FL’s boss. Such a character actor. Didn’t believe one second she looked like a recent high school grad but will go with the flow. 😂
She DEFINITELY shouldn’t forget what that jerk did to her. “It’s not about gains. It’s about not losing it. And whatever you gain worth losing me?” This alone should remind her grievances against him. But I know he is the ML. 😭

The 40 episodes cap was rescinded last year. If I am not wrong this is based on actual history before the song dynasty was established, so they have to be accurate in their depiction of history

Actually this version his subordinate comes off as a bootlicker/brownnoser/sycophant. I only remember the OG subordinate as a stereotypical screaming Korean office supervisor who berated the ML constantly

If they follow the original, which seems likely there, he will “fall” apart. I am waiting for that moment lol. Both versions he is insufferable

Just waiting for Gu Chen’s downfall and wipe that perpetual smirk off his arrogant face. This actor is perfectly playing this character to a tee. He is more irritating that the OG character.

Going in without any expectations but great to see Oh Yeon Seo in romcom with Choi Jin Hyuk. He is easy on the eyes 😏

Netflix is doing it again with terrible translations. I don’t understand Korean but when you watched enough of it, I also know that they missed a lot, especially hong’s sisters’ dialogues. Such a huge network but sucks at finding competent translators lol🫩

The Hong sisters are known for their bantering, sprinkle with lots of meaningful words. Sometimes it’s not translated well at Netflix lol
