It’s not bad. MDL’s rating always starts off low but will eventually balance out. Some commentators had said the first episode was boring and slow but will pickup on ep 2. If you like the actors, story then you’ll enjoy it even though the story is resembled a lot of saguek

Binged watch the first 6 episodes and so glued to the outcome. Every episode was a treat. The first case was engrossing and fascinating. There are more cohesion as a unit than previous seasons. I like them better this season and a bonus they added the cutie Xue Huan to the group.
The fight choreographed beautifully, colour grading ok, direction great, dialogue no issue, no filtering or skin smoothing but my ONLY concern was the wonky flying bird lol

No each couple have their own lovelines but the SML seems intrigued by her antics lol

It didn’t reveal who died in her place, most probably some pitiful palace maid or slave. The court ladies, for now, are the “aunt and adoptive mom”.

Wow, Kang Tae Oh as crown Prince is magnificent. He wears the blue robe so strikingly beautiful. He is well-suited for saguek roles. First time seeing him crying angrily with eyes bloodshot and I felt that rage.
Kim Se Jeong as usual, for me, nailed the comedic timing. Not easy, so kudos to her.
Jin Goo, scary, murderous, power hungry villain. 😬
The story is all the same but going to stay for their acting
