Agreed. People are like “a duck in a thunderstorm”. I had to adjust and listen in to distinguish their voices. LOL. Good job to the casting directors 👏🏽

It’s the same person , Qian Shaoze. Her lover from 7 yrs ago and the cross dresser.

Next level cross dressing is coming in “Zhu Gu Niang” that started filming recently. IMO, she/he will be in prettiest man ever. I guess next year popular genres will be cross dressing roles.

I love Maomao, too. Can’t wait for the 3rd season. MM is also trying to survive out there lol

Miss Du is Du Zheng’s sister. Du Zheng is an officer of the Jizhou guard. He is Lin Jinqi’s people. His parents will choose another wife for him, Zheng ManYi

Yes but he needs proof and witnesses, unfortunately. It’s a marriage matter between two noble families that have ties to the court

Because she knows she can’t escape…she knows about it, she gets killed; she claims she doesn’t know, she gets killed. Ahhhh, life of a slave is based on the whims of your master!

😂

Same. It’s was so good

Since you have watched the first episode, how is he going to warn them.? They are in the capital, he is in Jinling. Not only that he is under his family protection. His grandfather repudiated the former emperor and resigned to save his entire clan. FL’s grandfather offended the current Emperor, stood on his ground and his code and got his whole family eliminated. So he didn’t “abandon” her family, the engagement is nullified when they choose to stand on the side of the current Emperor.

Looks can be deceiving

I’m at the edge of my seat gripping it so tight

OMG!!!! Ep 7+8. The LIBRARY 📚 📚😳😧😬. The cat and mouse

I saw it on last year first promotional trailer when the leads introduced their characters. Du Zheng was introduced as ML’s savior and his sister as someone who wants to kill everyone in the Lin’s house. His other two attendants are Nanke and Jiu Gao

It’s Du Zheng, an officer of the Jinzhou guard. His sister also hates the family, Du Cuique. She will be coming to live with the Lin family

Since you said you “like pure main leads”, this is not a drama for you. He is going to have another wife.
Story of yangzi palace is on your watchlist. A drama with an emperor that have a harem. Smh

The ML is investigating the complaints, where or who is funding her loans(she came into the marriage with only 3000).

The people who are with Lin Jin Qi :Nanke, Jiu Gao, Du Zheng/Congyi. All played by different people

No different person

Also first time seeing maids rankings.
