I completely agree with this. As for Netflix, I have to ask whether either Extraordinary Attorney Woo and Alchemy…
I too agree with you. Netflix did bring out good K-Dramas at the same time, they still pull out season 2 strategy, we all know how many shows got an unnecessary seasons and how many good one were cancelled in netflix before. I just said I hope they don't do the same with Kdramas
Honestly, I think it is a natural development. I started watching Kdrama in 2005, I started to fall out of love…
Yes as I mentioned in the article too when you have watched a lot of dramas, you feel less and less surprised as you mentioned the structure feels same. I am too now a days check out the drama either when my favorite actor is there or when the plot stands out to me
I think its ok for now. But maybe in 4-5yrs above mentioned points maybe a bigger issue. But i think one other…
Yess, we need more original script dramas as I mentioned. This allows us to get newer stories and also spoiler free next episodes. There is always a huge dispute whenever dramas gets adapted from webtoon, on who did better and also things they changed that something disrupts the viewing experience
OMG I relate to every point that you've mentioned.... I've watched only a very few K-dramas released after 2021...…
Thank you ❤️❤️. Yes branching out and exploring other countries dramas is also something I am also actively doing. I am too branching into a lot of Thai and Chinese dramas
Thank you for this well written, thought provoking article. So many points resonated with me. I think as Kdramas…
Thanks a lot 💜💜. I am happy about streaming platforms wanting to invest, just I hope they take time to work on scripts and not try to make a season 2 for everything.
wtf my demon is the best kdrama of all time what are you talking about GET BANNED FROM SITE
Haha funny how sharing your opinions might lead you to get banned. If you like it there is nothing wrong about it too. It's just a difference in opinion. Hope you have a good day
I completely agree with you. I was introduced to this world with rom-coms but as time went on and it became stagnant…
Exactly !! Where are they?? As a Kdrama viewer I try to watch even the underrated ones but as you mentioned there aren't many good ones now a days, I hope we get some thrillers in the upcoming years
I mean it's true that some watch for NC scenes but I think fandom appreciates shows without NC scenes tooo. Literally…
So true, I am watjoynching this coz of the ships, if someone is completely new to bl they would not enjoy it. I loved watching cherry magic, it was slow paced too, but the progression was so real and natural. You said it true, here it's just lazy writing. And also right, so many famous bl's do not have NC scenes still loved by many. Idk how people comment without thinking twice
I was really excited about this show having 16 episodes because I was hoping we'd get a lot more unique storylines…
Sameeee, Phum and Pheem story are just going in circles, we never got to see Tan and Fang - I want to know more about them, their dynamics. And Chain and pun, they are 4th couple we do forget at some time, as they have very few scenes. Pheem knows Phum likes him, it's bright out there - but still it goes in circles?. I recall just bad bunny on how good they made the relationship progress so smoothly. Tbh, it's coz of actors and their amazing chemistry that we were able to watch the show.
