When I do appreciate this drama, but Phum and Pheem are stuck in a time loop. When Pheem clearly likes Phum and they progressed, at the end it looks back to square one. When he says try to win my heart, I was then like that's what Phum did from starting. I am okay with slow burn, but this one is a loop. But I love the actors, and their chemistry. That's what making me stick throughout the drama

Yessss I completely agree, it's still getting dragged. For no reason, like nothing is happening. But yeah they all are adorable and cute, and that's reason I am still watching. This would have been best wrapped up ep 12

For me this drama is totally refreshing !! Thankfully no skin smoothing or too much bright colors. And why everyone is so good looking, it feels like a visual treat. Liu Yi Fei is such a pleasure to watch, god she's gorgeous 😊

Yess agreed, as past WZQ never interacted with the phone so he never had the memories related to it, but how did he figure out Xi Kun and Xi Lin plot doesn't make sense to me, it seems they just rushed it out.
What the writer could have shown is, the present WZQ who called in name of BROTHER, could have told YX to mention it to WZQ through a letter or something, so that he can figure out and catch both of them.

Though I loved the leads and the characters. But I feel the plot felt a bit messed up I feel it needed 4 more episodes or so to wrap it up all. Ig censor issues might also prevented them to fully show us what they intended. Still I was very surprised about the drama being much enjoyable !!

Such a great explanation. But I feel there are some scenes that aren't explained
1. How the present WZQ knows the phone is in the attic?
2. Did her find out about Xi Lin? How did he solve it this timeline?
The only explanation is present WZQ had some sort of butterfly effect, as we see in last scene that he remembered everything, so he might have known everything and resolved all the incidents

The drama is no way a perfect time travel drama. Usually concept of time travel is a do or die, but for me this one even though has issues in time travel. But the leads are chef kiss, for longest time I wanted leads like them. Leads who can actually communicate instead of creating 700 misunderstandings. They are mature and responsible. I love this drama for them . Fan Si Zhe and Tu Bing I will keep an eye on their work in future

No, I feel it's like FX is back sort of thing. I mean they made s1 ending so big as they didn't knew drama would blow up so they kept it so viewers might tune in for next one. In real the novel version didn't have that plot at all. But now they know anyway we gonna watch S3, so they kept it simple

They said in end of drama, FX choose a path not to compromise - they hope we chose too 😂😂😂

Thoughts on S2~~

Not so liked part
- Improvement needed in camera work
- The pace should be much balanced. For me some comedic sequences felt forced and not organic. It's like following the pattern ( serious - comedy - serious). I wanted sequences much like the operation one where the comedy was so natural and also interesting. We can very well edit 5-10 mins of every ep, still it wouldn't have impacted drama much
- FX's identity revelation and Emperor's secret revelation too, felt meh to me. I wanted much more drama to that as it's the very core part of the drama

What I loved
- Oh man ZRY I fell for him even harder, and all the other actors were also sooo good as expected of them
- The temple sequence was sooo interesting, made me feel goosebumps. The plot surrounding Prime minister Lin was well made. And the scene between FX and Deng Zi Yue was just pure cinema
- Loved First prince and Beiqi empress, wanted more of them. Haitang Duo Duo is much more gorgeous and powerful as ever


As someone who never rewatches drama, I rewatched the entire S1 of JoL and I fell in love as if I was watching it for the first time. I don't think I can rewatch this season, maybe some sequences ( the operation, the scene at Waner house, temple sequence) but not fully. This acted as a bridge and set the stage up for S3. I hope that S3 could be much more interesting . Can't wait to see more ruthless version of FX in S3. I really want to see Ku He and Si Gu Jian that guy gonna give nice beating to FX 😂😂

I had the same doubt, first of all what made WZQ think he has to die for her to live? If they just stationed extra men outside the factory, then they would have captured the Xin guy, he was the problem and it got solved.
I think Xing and NN didn't know WZQ planned to die, they just thought it might be for worst case. As soon as Xing got the call, ig he realized that Yuan is alive and WZQ might die, and then gets the next call from present Yuan who guessed the same thing - that's why they rushed
