That was not the intention of the article. It's just my take on current situation of K-Dramas as I see them
Thank you also for pointing it out. I will keep it in mind in next article

Hello everyone, after reading all the comments I never knew my article would create such huge waves of discussion.
I wrote this article last year december, so it does not have any mention of dramas that came out this year. I am not bashing Kdramas neither Netflix over here. I love Kdramas and also love the fact how Netflix helped it grow globally. I just pointed out what I felt in the recent years. Every story has two sides, some may agree and some may disagree to my article. I am not a experienced writer neither did a whole survey or research for this article. So apologies if anything was offensive or wrong. It's purely based on my opinion.

I just hope we just remain civil to each other in the discussion. ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š

Discussion? It is a one way presentation where I more than subtly disagree. Two or three dramas a year? Are we…
I guess I did watch enough kdramas to make an opinion here including the underrated and not much spoken ones. It's highly reflected in dramas recs I have did before. I put forth all sort of views that could be spoken of from my perspective. I would also apologize for disappointing you

Can we really blame only Korean dramas? In my opinion, the quality of all dramas these days has decreased. I don't…
Yes, that's true too. With my limited time I was able to focus on Kdramas as I have watched more Kdramas compared to others. For me I started watching Cdramas since 2018, my expectations were always low for them compared to standards as I had for Kdramas. As you said I too value Korean actors much more. As they say more the expectations more the disappointment.

I think it all resumes to how many you have watched. If you are already saturated and saw the iconic ones there…
Death's game is my absolute favorite. I wrote this on jan this year, but this year Kdramas are good. I thoroughly enjoyed QOT, Lovely runner

now do one on C, Thai, & J-Dramas. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿปiโ€™ve seen so much โ€œkdrama hateโ€ just because itโ€™s more โ€œmainstreamโ€…
It's not at all a Kdrama hate, I still love and adore kdramas and I still watch and look out for them. Every country drama has it's own problems. That's why i said instead of sticking to one try exploring dramas from other countries as well

First: this seems to be a bad take and summary. You criticize the fact that some shows were not renewed while also…
I am watching Kdramas since 2017 or something, but came to MDL late. I did watch the greatest hits and also the old ones too. As you mentioned the popular actors are old now meaning they have becoming more picky and choosy. They are already renowned and popular so they don't have to do a lot of dramas per year. But yeah their dramas are coming this and next year, I am excited to see how the drama unfolds

Yessss we I know romance is a limited genre where you can't do much. Instead they cam explore different genres as you said crime or even something like slice of life, comedy or even a survival thriller. The scope is wide. We just need more different and experimental kdramas now and then
