JUST WOW!!

This is one of the best behind the scenes docuseries I have ever watched. It made me love the band all the more. Cleary I am a fan of BTS but I don't consider myself ARMY but I see why so many people love and appreaciate them! Even someone who knows nothing about them will enjoy this tremendously.

The vulnerability of the group and their work ethinc and struggles during their first world tour was facinanting. I mean JK struggling to breath in Chile, RM injuring his foot, V and Jin getting into a heated argument and then having the maturity to work it out and not let it fester; I was in awe. Jimin not being able to perform fully during the final Seoul concert, heartbreaking. V struggling as he was also workng or finishing up Hwarang right before the world tour maddening but them coming together inspiring.

I really just loved evrthing about it. It was a refreshing look at the bands struggles and triumphs. Friendship and brotherhood. I was genuinely moved by the series.

God Tier Level Fantasy Boyfriends

This show really said, “What if we made a rom‑com, cast half the Korean male entertainment industry as fantasy boyfriends and to hell with everything else!" And honestly, I was here for it! Overall average series and a qucik fun watch. I gave an extra star b/c the fantasy delivered in all the ways!

The casting director clearly knows what women want (or what I want). Lee Soo Hyuk, Seo Kang Jun, Lee Jae Wook, Lee Sang Yi, Modern Tarzan — it’s a parade of heart‑stealers, each just as unfairly attractive than the last. The only person missing is Kim Ji Hoon!!

The real‑world storyline wobbles between heartfelt and exasperating. Kyeong Nam’s confession is handled with surprising maturity, Mi Rae’s avoidance tactics are comedy gold, and her Episode 8 meltdown is the kind of self‑inflicted drama that makes viewers yell at the screens.

The show ties up its central conflict with a mix of sincerity but it did feel rushed. I agree with someone else who said they spent way too much time in the VR world and specifically with Mi Rae dating the Eun Ho (boyfriend). Kyeong Nam processes, Mi Rae grows (finally), and the VR boyfriend saga gets the closure it deserves. Even when the pacing stumbles, the show remains entertaining — a rom‑com that thrives on its humor, its fantasy boyfriends, and its willingness to let its characters be messy, dramatic, and occasionally ridiculous.

The John Woo Filmograpy along with several other Hong Kong classics are being released on the big screen over the next few months. I saw A Better Tomorrow today on the big screen for the 1st time. It was epic. It really is a story of redemption or trying to go straight but the old life not letting you leave. I own this on DVD and probably VHS but I still wanted to see it on the big screen. It plays well there. Epic action sequences and bloody bullet ballet. Here's a bit of trivia for you. The character of Mark played by Chow Yun Fat was only supposed to be a small role but Woo saw Chow's charisma and added more lines for him. The Charcter was so popular that ***SPOILER ALERT** even though he dies, Chow was in the sequel (well technically as another character).

John Woo and Chow Yun Fat are the reason you have your John Wicks of the world.

I have been a fan of John Woo's since the first time I saw The Killer way back when. A Better Tomorrow was the 2nd movie I saw in Woo's filmography. I still like it over all and it did define a genre.

********SPOLIERS****SPOILERS****SPOILERS****SPOILERS****SPOILERS****SPOILERS****SPOILERS********

Very average romcom drama with way too many filler episodes Could have been 12 eps. Episode 16 was a filler episode but I was glad that we got a wedding.

A lot of stuff pissed me off like Hwa Ran and her hatred of Gu Won for no other reason than him being born. I also, hated the was she treated her son. Scenes like that will always break my heart. The co-workers of both Da Eul and Pyung Hwa were the absolute worst. Also, Da Eul's husband and his family. It was all so unnecessarily farcical. I'm not even sure what the point any of it was. Just god awful humans the lot of them!

The best thing about this series is the chemistry between Jun Ho & Yoon A. So good. They were great together and played off each other well. I thought the romance elements were well done and I like that they didn't break up b/c of other people.

Standout performance was Ahn Se Ha as No Sang Sik. Hilarious but a very good friend to Gu Won.

I really enjoyed this series. The whoe thing was a rather comforting watch for me. Chocolate realy does just put me in a better mood and can just soothe me in my worst moments.

I thought Oguri Shun and Han Hyo Joo were really good together as Sosuke and Hana. I liked the supporting cast especially, Akanishi Jin as Hiro. I liked that each episode focused on one of the speciality chocolates and how the were made. The show had some very emotional moments for me and It broke my heart that Sosuke thought he was dirty as a child after his brother died causing his phobia of not being able to touch people. I cried a ton in episode 7 too after they read Hana's apology letter. I could relate to her phobia b/c speaking in front people has always been hard for me.

Overall, I liked the show. I liked the food elements a lot.

I thought the show started off pretty good. I am all for a romcom with good food as a backdrop. What I was supremely annoyed about is the show goes 9 episodes without telling the main characters backstory. Which sucked b/c episode 9 was filler which made episoide 10 feel rushed and the conflict between the leads was abrupt and too easily resolved. My main issue with the show, however, is that it relied on the same old Kdrama tropes like bringing an ex into the fold and having an ego driving parent pit their children against each other.

Kang Han Neul was stiff in the role but I still liked his scenes with Go Min Si and they worked well together. Overall the supporting cast was great and the comic relief was fun. I also, really enjoyed the Weak Hero Class 2 wink/nod. Very cool!

I preface this by saying I really liked the 1st series and did not think the story warrranted a 2nd series. I haven't read the webtoon so maybe by that standard it did.

I did overall like this series but I don't think the story is as well thought out as the 1st series. The best part of the series is Si Eun. Those episode with Park Ji Hoon, carrying that emotional weight elevates the show a for me. I almost wished they had focused more on his recovery in a less violent way. I Still gave the seris a 7 b/c I did like the bromance and frienships developing with Si Eun, Baku, Go Tak and Jun Tae and it's a qucik and easy binge.

A ton of things were left unanswerd or unexplained. Or maybe I just didn't understand the relationship between Baku and Baek Jin. I also did not undertand the point of the Seung Je character.

I wasn't planning to watch this series b/c I felt some type of way about the bullying aspect. And a lot of teen/younger adult shows always seem to have that in them. However, I enjoyed the series mostly bc the cast is really good. The actors playing Su Ho and Sii Eun were absolutely fantastic. They played off each other very well! The bromance is top notch. The plot is intesting too and lot was being said about parental neglect and abuse as well.

Friendship at that age can be tough and navigating that is crucial. I only wished that Beom Seok's spiral had been fleshed out more than his perceived slight at Youngi being closer to Su Ho than he was. He had a ton on trauma b/c of his adopted family, especialy the father and being bullied at the prior school. He felt like he found his people and then felt slighted even though he had not been. I hate that the assemblyman got away with all of that.

I also, liked that certain things did not drag out like that loan shark/criminal nonsense. In another series we would have had to deal with that guy for 3 more eps!

Not sure if a 2nd season is needed but I will assume that the webtoon had additional pages and leave it at that.

Enjoyable, overall. Fast paced series. Good dramedy with some serious and touching scenes and some LOL moments. It reminded me of the Jdrama Iryu Team Medical Dragon.

I liked Dr. Baek singular focus of helping patients and trying to save lives instead of worrying about the cost or deficits. Yes, I get that hospitals are for profit companies but they shouldn't be at the expense of true care for patients. I really like the whole cast and I was especially impressed with Choo Young Woo as Dr Yang b/c I just watched him in Mercy for None and I hated him there but he's s affable and sweet here!

I wish we would have seen that bastard Dr Hong punished as he was ornery til the end! I did love the scene where Dr. Baek threw him down into that chair! One of the highlights of the show!

Absolutely Brutal Revenge Rampage - So Good

From episode the first up til the end, this was a revenge rampage of singular focus and it was all the better for it! This show maintained all of the bravado and pulse pounding action. I have loved every second of every minute of it! There is no nuance here and there was no need to be. The series states exactly what is is Mercy for None! The cast was fantastic too! However, the younger cast was no match for the veterans! So ji Sub, Lee Jun Hyuk, Huh Joon Ho all superb! Lee Bum Soo was great comic relief!

I actually, may read the webtoon to see what was left on the drawing room floor! This was such a quick, fun binge I recommend to all.

On a side note; the amount of hotness in this series was off the charts. Here's looking at you Jung Gun Joo! Please give this man some lead roles!

There's a re-release this weekend in US theaters so it was cool I got to watch on the big screen.

I enjoyed this movie! It has it's own Godzilla origin story. It played out more like a disaster film and I really liked that about it. It was boardrooms and strategizing. Trying to determine the best course of action with the least amount of human casualties by the government. Overall a really good cast. Some familiar faces some not so but main cast worked well together. The pace was well done too, and they kept things moving which helps the film out a lot b/c there is a ton of dialogue in this movie!

I honestly did not like the Godzilla monster. The design was very gross and rather off putting and maybe that was the point. It is a monster after all. The other thing I kept thinking at the end was are they just going to leave Godzilla there like that and why didn't they just obliterate it??? That being said, its a good watch, solid film.

I liked the show but it was just meh. The acting of the leads is good and I liked the supporting characters. This was my first series with Yoo Seung Ho and he was good as Dong Baek. Even when the character was annoying I liked him and felt his emotions.

The revenge aspect took away from the series in my opinion. I liked the first few eps with them working different cases. It probably wouldn't have bothered me as much if it hadn't gone on for so many episodes. One of my main gripes with these Kdrama thrillers is that the writer(s) never know how to make the main arc concise and logical. It's always so outlandish and implausible. I mean this revenge scheme lasted 20 years why??? Also, too many innocent people died on purpose. I just don't like stuff like that.

While the big reveal was interesting it came a day late and a dollar short, even after they went thru with all the explanations. Plus I had planned in my head for a very cliche long lost twin!! LOL!!! I felt the ending was very anti-climatic and the deaths of the ultimate main villains was just not enough for me!

Mediocre Crime Thriller - So Much Wasted Potential

******SPOLIER ALERT****SPOILER ALERT****SPOILER ALERT****SPOILER ALERT****SPOILER ALERT*******

I liked the beginning of the series and I think the acting from the leads is well done. Nana and Jang Ki Yong have excellent chemistry. But the storyline is a mess and could have been executed a lot better. The show has way too many characters and it was way too much going on. The show actually, had elements that were done really well like the fact that the young prosecutor on Hyun Jin's team wasn't corrupt. I've seen it happen so much in these drama's that I was pleasantly surprised he was on the up & up. I liked the character growth of the older cop on Hyun Jin's Team too.

Hyun Jin's adopted father was one of the worst villains I've watched in a while and I was itching for his death. Could not come quick enough!!!! These shows really make you hate these greedy, rich people. I hate that we never get the answer at the end of who was really sponsoring Do Jae Hwan but I'm going to guess it was the President of Korea.

The best part of the series for me is that it ends the way it's supposed. Didn't think that was going to happen and I was very glad it did. I was also quite emotional when Philip died. Didn't expect to feel that way.

Just go with it!

This was very telanovelaish. Not a bad thing if that's what you are into. I think the movie would have been much better without the overacting and histrionics from the ML/Villain. However, Vilma Santos was great as Eve the grieving mother out for revenge for the brutal rape and murder of her daughter and her fiancé.

I LOL at the end where Eva was killing the ML. It was just too comical for words but I was here for it. I am always down for bad guys getting theirs in the end and this one delivered the goods!

This was quick, cute romcom with Jasper Liu just making me completely happy with his smile.

I enjoyed the story of the Triad boss's daughter falling for the an actor. The romance parts were super cute and dumb but I was here for it. Angie's fantasies were hilarious. Plus she and Xu were really cute together. Great chemistry between the actors. I also loved that Angie was a bad ass! So cool!

Some of the comments are saying there was suppsoed to be a second season not sure if that's true but a second season or even a part 2 to this season would have ironed out a bunch of kinks from the subplots. I also wish Ling Yun got her son back. Funny enough, at first I thought the ending was them making Xu's gangster movie, LOL but it was not and maybe that's why people think a 2nd season was planned!
