You’re not fluent?? Your written English is really good!
Thank you so much! :D

OMG I'm sooo happy, I just found out that this drama will be on Netflix in my country too which means it's subbed in my language!! :D I come from a country where english isn't the native language, so I'm not fluent at it. I really didn't think it would be on Netflix in my country since there are not many chinese dramas there, only like maybe 3 or so, so far... so imagine my surprise! Yay even more reason to watch this now ^ ^ can even watch it with others who's english isn't fluent either :)

Will watch this drama ASAP when it's subbed in sites that are available in my country, I love me some Noona romance ;) I was literally in shock when I looked up the actors real age, Victoria Song is 12 years older than Song Wei Long (big age gap) but she at most looks 3-4 years older than him lol! What is her secret to look so young?? In most Noona romances where the actress is a lot older than the actor IRL too you can totally see that, for exemple in the k-drama "I hear your voice" , one can clearly tell that the FL is older than the ML there (not that she looks old, definitely not, just that she looks visibly older than the ML).

Anyways, I'm glad they casted here actors that has a big age gap IRL too, I would have been dissapointed if the actors were around the same age despite them acting as older woman/younger man in the drama.

I picked this drama because i have never watched ji chang wook dramas ..since i am new to asian dramas..so i watched…
I'm currently watching "Empress Ki" , Ji Chang Wook's potrayal of the character there is outstanding. His character is very complex and flawed.

I HATED how weak the FL was, how she always obeyed her HORRIBLE mom even if it meant hurting her boyfriend (the ML). I don't care if its a cultural thing, I have seen female leads in k-dramas who are far stronger than her (that doesn't go around obeying their parents when it comes to their love life for exemple, etc). This drama was such a huge dissapointment, the second half that is.. first half was gold.

Also, I don't blame the FL's dad for having cheated on her mom, because the mom is just so bad, all she does is treating both her husband and daughter badly!
On The Princess's Man Jan 22, 2020
***SLIGHT SPOILERS***

If you are in mood for a love story that is epic, touching and deep then The Princess' Man should fit you perfectly. The chemistry between the leads is amazing and so natural, you can really feel how much they love each other. One of my all time favorite couples in dramaland! Also, Se Ryung is such a great female lead! She's strong, righteous, brave, loyal, kind... without ever being bratty or annoying! Se Ryung comes from a time when women held no power/basically had no rights but yet she fights for what she believes in is right! The whole cast did an amazing job potraying the characters, they are all deep and complex. Like for exemple, Se Ryung's father prince Suyang is very ruthless and would do anything to become King, but he still has a soft spot for his family, especially Se Ryung who he holds very dear. Seung Yoo is another perfect exemple of a complex character who starts out as an carefree, nice and charming Scholar but develops to an tortured outcast full of hatred and revenge! I can't come up with anything to complain about, everything in my opinion is perfection. This drama is not a romcom, so if you don't want your heart to hurt or if you don't want to shed tears, then avoid this lol.

The Princess' man is considered the Joseon version of Romeo and Juliet, but I find this drama a thousand times better when it comes to the love story of Se Ryung and Seung Yoo than that of Romeo and Juliet. The Princess' Man starts out as sweet and lighthearted but by each episode gets darker and darker until the story is full of blood, sweat and tears with never ending suffering. This drama is such a roller coaster full of emotions that makes one feel anger, pain, nervous, stressful... but also that will make one feel deeply touched, because in midst of all the bloodbath, there is loyalty and love so deep.

I have watched many dramas that were forgettable, that were not memorable enough for me to leave an everlasting impression, that didn't get to have a special place in my heart... But The Princess' man is one of the few dramas I watched so far that has left an everlasting impression on me and to have a special place in my heart <3 I don't think I can ever recommend this epic drama enough!

I haven't watched it yet, but I saw a clip where the ML kisses the FL after a fight, she doesn't fight back...…
Ok thanks for clarifying, makes a lot more sense now :)

Yes :)
On My Love from the Star Dec 28, 2019
Loving it so far!! It's not a perfect but overall it's such a entertaining show with many iconic moments :) it has also one of the most memorable / sassiest female leads in dramaland, not to mention Do Min Joon *swoon* is so swoon worthy... maybe for some it gets some time to warm up to him due to his cold/stiff behavior, but as the show progresses, one will see depth in him... The actor Kim So Hyun is so great at showing subtle expressions that speaks volumes! He has great chemistry with Jun Ji Hyun and they make a gorgeous pair on this show :) I haven't finished yet YWCFTS but so far it's been a great ride :) I admit that a few years ago I watched a few episodes of it but stopped as I quite didn't understand its hype... but now when I give this show a new try I like it so much more and can see how unique it is! I now understand why it gained such huge fame :)

Title Kleun Cheewit Spoiler
I'm hesitant to watch this... I wanted to give this a shot because after watching Secret, I was recommended this…
I haven't watched it yet, but I saw a clip where the ML kisses the FL after a fight, she doesn't fight back... and then they're in bed (obviously slept with each other), the FL is crying and the ML looks troubled. Some will say he raped her and others will say say she was willing.
On Kleun Cheewit Dec 12, 2019
Ok so I will give this a chance because it does look interesting and I heard the FL here is awesome and that she has amazing chemistry with the ML. Generally speaking I hate abusive male leads but in here the ML has a valid reason for not being nice to the FL (not saying he has the right to treat her however he wants tho) I mean she did kill his fiancee and doesn't even get punished by the law , so ofc the ML will be veeery pissed off. I just hope the ML is not TOO over-the-top crazy like in so many other slap/kiss lakorns (for exemple in Sawan Biang)... let's see :) who knows, maybe surprisingly I come to love this one like many others, I might write a review after finishing watching Kleun Cheewit.

Also, those hate-to-love/ revenge stories does interest me, the ML and FL in those kind of stories has usually great chemistry and lots of sexual tension going on ;) and everyone says the ML and FL has lots of sexual tension in Kleun Cheewit :D it's even one of the tags... even more reason to watch this one! ^ ^

I will watch this one, but I heard somewhere that in this version Dao Ming Si is not about to get hit by the chair, thus there will be no Shan Cai who protects Dao Ming Si from getting hit resulting in her getting hit by the chair instead... is that true? :( It would be a HUGE mistake not including that scene in my opinion...because that scene (which is in all the other versions) is very important, showing how much she has come to care about him.

Title My Mowgli Boy Spoiler
I'm so dissapointed in Ling Xi right now, I feel they have ruined her character a bit. She is acting like a irrational mad crazy woman. Such a huge bratty bitch! She is in her 20s but acts like a 8 year old. I can't believe she went to the office and started accusing Bai Yi Ling (screaming mean things to her etc) in front of everyone and throwing papers and such on the floor. Like seriously!?? I get that she is heartbroken cuz Zheng Li basically rejected her but that doesn't mean she is allowed to act like that. Such a immature person Ling Xi is! Such a huge embarrassment... She has lots of apolopy to do. I hope she will grow up and become less self-centered.

I would have been more interested in this drama if they needed to keep warm (lots of skinship then) instead of having having to keep cool.

Does it mean Yang Zi's isn't dubbed?
Ah ok, thank you for the explanation :)
Replying to chase_kayden Aug 30, 2019
Does it mean Yang Zi's isn't dubbed?
Yeah, I think actors need to speak standard mandarin perfectly without accent in order not to get their voices dubbed in chinese dramas. Yang Zi's voice isn't dubbed (I think) because she is from beijing, where they speak standard mandarin (so she can speak standard mandarin perfectly without accent) while Ray Ma is from another city, Idk if mandarin is the official language there , even if it is he will have a accent when speaking standard mandarin (I think standard mandarin is only spoken in Beijing and places nearby) . If mandarin isn't the official language from his hometown, Ray Mo still can speak mandarin, because it's a mandatory for all chinese people to be able to speak mandarin. .. but as I said, when speaking standard mandarin he obviously speaks with accent (otherwise they wouldn't get his voice dubbed)

All actors, no matter how good their mandarin is, if they speak standard mandarin with accent, they will have their voices dubbed. It can be difficult for some to understand everything one with accent is saying... so that's the main reason why they dub actors voices (those with accent) so that everyone who watches dramas will be able to understand everything they are saying... If I'm not mistaken, someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong :)

Can't wait for this~
It's nice to watch for a change a romantic drama with the main actor and main actress being older (not in the 20s/early 30s like in so many other romantic dramas), love is not only for the young people... but then again, I don't know if in this drama they will be around the same age as they are IRL or if they will be younger adults. Neverthless I still look forward to this drama!! Yay, Ha Ji Won is the female lead, I really like her! :)
But I need to be emotionally prepared because the screenwriter is no other than Lee Kyung Hee who is known for her dramas being tragic... Btw, the director of this drama is Lee Hyung Min , also director of the famous classic "I'm Sorry, I Love You", written by Lee Kyung Hee. "Chocolate" is their third work together (their last work which is "I'm Sorry, I Love You" , from 15 years ago) So most likely this drama will be VERY good and get high ratings/viewership in S. Korea! :)

I really hope the main characters will act their age (behave maturely, so no aegyo please). Overall I hope for a really mature feel to this drama and that the main couple will have a mature, adult-like relationship, because after all they're IRL 40/41 years old (in a not too far future they're middle age) So I would cringe if Yoon Kye Sang and Ha Ji Won's characters acted cutesy and acted like teenagers in love, freaking out from simply holding hands, kissing or hugging (which is so common in korean dramas, at least it's so common if its teenagers to people in their early 20s). I hope for lots of natural skinship between the OTP with real, passionate kisses, this drama is gonna air on a cable channel, therefore there is big possibility for that. Hopefully they will act like a real life couple around their age would.
Sorry for my long rant xD I'm just soooo excited for this drama!!

Title Another Miss Oh Spoiler
I came across one of Dae Kyung (Eric Mun) and Hae Young (Seo Hyun Jin) kiss scenes on youtube, which was the main reason l decided to watch this drama cuz the kisses (especially in ep 9) was one of the best l ever seen in kdrama! Anyway l like Another miss oh despite Seo Hyun Jin's character being sometimes so annoying /doing some over-the-top things, but generally I really felt sorry for her character, cuz she was always by everyone seen as inferior in every way to the other Oh Hae Young (Jeon Hye Bin)... I get it, l would have had such low esteem /feeling hurt too if l was always being compared to another woman with same name and surname where everyone sees her as Godness while l'm seen as "trash".... So while Seo Hyun Jin's oh hae young did get on my nerves at times l felt sympathy for her... She felt so REAL... So human, not one of those candy like female leads without any anger, jealousy, resenment etc.. So she was rerfeshing, cuz she was not perfect.. She DID feel anger, jealousy, resentment, which I like cuz it made the character more realistic. Would l recommend this drama? Yes! The chemistry between Eric Mun and Seo Hyun Jin is so great!! Also the secondary couple was nice too and their kissing in ep 17 was just as good as any of the kisses between the lead couple!

Title Full House
Not perfect by any means and not one of my fav dramas, but still way better than the original (korean version). The chemistry betwen the leads here is much better , also more skinship/ more sweet and romantic scenes. The FL is absolutely adorable and feisty, the ML is nicer here than in the original. I hope Mike and Aom will star in drama together again, and this time in a drama that is NOT a remake.
