While I did not dislike the first 2 episodes I was not hooked. Does it get any better ? A lot seem to enjoy ep 5… before it was a lot of mixed opinions about this drama

I have a feeling that the leads in this drama Will have just as touching/deep love story as the leads in the 2011 drama ”The Princess’ Man” also set during Joseon era…

Hopefully no SLS or 3rd lead syndrome… I usually like love stories where ML is the bodyguard who’s duty is to protect FL, but here he is the second or third male lead 😅 I also have a soft spot for sick MLs , but in this case the sick one is also not the ML….so I’m scared i will root for the second and/or third male lead over the first male lead to be with the FL 🥲 hopefully i won’t …

Yeah ’why her’ was so dissapointing on the romance part and the ML … i expected more of him , that he would be more important to the storyline, I had too high big expectations of ’Why her’ to just end up dissapointed.

What We know about the plot so far ; FL has Nothing good in her life… she was cheated by her ex bf, she doesn’t get any love from her mom and she can’t enjoy the perks received at work for married people. So she ends up in fake marriage with the ML who is a part time worker, he’s too nice and cannot say No. What folllows is their comedic falling in love story.


Aww, I’m looking forward to this! Same writer as ”Her Private Life” (lovely drama with amazing chemistry and steamy kisses- only the last 2-3 episodes were not that good).
I love nice MLs and this ML seems not to be rich which is so refreshing (unless towards the ending he finds out he’s the long lost son of a filthy rich chaebol lol—would be too cliche!) I wonder if the ML Will be younger than FL because he’s a part time worker ? Hmmm so maybe this will be a noona romance ?? Or who knows they be same age or him even older… either way I’m sooo excited and I hope they will offer the ML role to a very good actor :)

Ah ok :) i Yeah you are right, i looked up the dramas he’s been in. Noticed he’s been in romance dramas Before , maybe he’s not been in a lot of romance dramas tho unlike many other actors

This is probably the upcoming Kdrama of this year’s second half I’m most excited about!

Looking forward to this! ^^ I wonder tho about Tian Lei’s serious illness, so I guess there will be some drama too , not just comedy. I wonder also which of the 2 couples I will come to like more? I think the main couple because I love me some drama where the ML/FL is sick, it usually makes it more emotional…
Or who knows, I might like second couple more - or I will like both couples equally! Second couple looks also interesting, Bu Qu is I guess more of antihero/bad boy ;)

Haven’t read the novel (is it translated to english ?) neither watched 2001 drama version , and many seems to not like the 2001 drama version…I think mainly because it looks quite choppy/outdated / badly filmed and edited ?

I see, yes maybe if i watched it the same year it came out i would have liked it…who knows. I remember liking Secret Garden (a classic in kdramaland) back in 2011/12, but i don’t think i could enjoy it as much anymore…

I have never watched a modern Chinese drama, tried to watch the super popular Love O2O, but I did NOT like it all… too stiff acting, problematic, no chemistry, boring characters, (they were too perfect , like robots *yawn*) and it just felt so shallow and dry! And the kissing omg were terrible 😅but I hope this drama will make me love modern c-dramas, means I hope to come to love this one… I have high hopes since majority here seems to love this drama! I scrolled the comments here and the comments I read made me more interested and curious in this drama :) I have a feeling I will like this, like Love O2O it seems to be quite lighthearted romance, but this seems way better and chemistry here seems actually believable according to the trailers I watched! And I think also the kisses will be much better here haha ~ sorry to those who liked Love O2O, I hope I don’t offend you!

Just wondering why the FL was bullied at high school… and I’m curious about the ML’s past.. well just have to start watching to find out 😉
