I hope they make the relationship between Gorya and Thyma a bit less toxic. it was many years ago I watched the jp version HYD (the drama, not the movie from 1995 lol) and as far as I remember the relationship between Makino and Domyoji was not that toxic ,,, I think out of all versions they had the least toxic relationship (HYD is my favorite adaption so far , lets see if this thai version will take over as the best one for me) , I hope Gorya and Thyma’s relationship will be more like Makino and Domyoji’s relationship (but ofc Makino and Domyoji’s relationship was still not perfect, they had a very rocky start, but like I mentioned, their relationship is the least toxic out of all versions ) I really hope they won’t including this scene (which they included in Taiwan and chinese version ) *spoilers down*
My favorite part of this drama was the loving relationship between the parents. They were equals and are relationship goals, something I dream of having with my future partner. In so many k-dramas it's only the father who makes decisions just because he is the head of the family. So this drama was so refreshing to watch! For those who don't know, the actors who play the parents also starred together as also a married couple in a older drama "Life is Beautiful" which is great drama btw they had a loving relationship in that drama too :)
I will watch this when I'm in mood for angst and pain lol. I heard Khai is even more of an ass than in the novel (which I have read before this drama started) xD poor Third. But gosh how good looking Khai is *drools* and Third who is supposed to be "plain" looking (lol wtf) is sooo pretty! This will be the first time I watch anything with OffGun, I know they are a very popular "pair"...so I look forward to see if the chemistry is as great as everyone says it to be...I know there won't be a s2 but I so wish there would be... I think this one would actually benefit if there was a s2, as we then would see Khai and Third being a couple, since they didn't become a couple in this season until the ending, at least in the novel.
I like the novel so I'm sure I'll like this drama as well even tho it will frustrate me so much at same time! I will look forward to see on screen Khai's grand confession towards Third in public , I hope it will be just as emotional as I hope it to be. Also for thirsty fans, there is a special (final) chapter in the novel where Khai and Third have sex for the first time, its pretty explicit~ Which ofc is not on screen. Maybe tho it was hinted on screen?
I heard by so many people how amazing this is, it being the best thai bl of all time etc. I haven't watched yet but ofc I will.... but seems like this bl is one of the very few bls out there that gives people second lead syndrome. I'm therefore kinda worried I also will get SLS lol, that's why I haven't watched it yet.
I don’t think I have the guts to watch this season, only after it ends I will spoil for myself if they followed the novel exactly (Ram acting cold towards King and even trying to sleep with someone just to hurt him for no f*cking reason), because if they do I won’t be watching this, RamKing would be ruined for me then.
After dropping River Where the Moon Rises (because of the mess, Ji Soo’s scandal and another guy taking over as the lead instead , after like 8-9 episodes) I want to watch another ongoing drama. Vincenzo seems interesting but I read so many negative comments of the FL...does she get any better ??
I have so much to say on this... but I'll just leave it at 3 thoughts:1. I think about the USA, where Democrats…
Why should the parents be allowed to decide over their daughters body if she is to have the child or not lol, That’s so absurd. If a girl doesn’t want her parents to know , then it should be respected and not be informed to her parents.
Ok , I Will stop here because This is not about abortion but about a actor who has Done horrible things and is removed from the cast.
Glad Ji Soo finally got "punished", this must be a such a huge blown to him and he must be feeling very depressed now and all. Serves him right! He probably (most likely) was never punished for his actions when he was in school, so better late than never. That said, I hope he doesn't go as far as to commit suicide...
I wonder why so much bullying and sexual assault exist in korea. Ofc it exists everywhere in the world, but seems to be the most extreme in korea. I love RWTMR but I have decided to drop this, I can't look at Ji Soo's face anymore without being reminded about his horrible actions. Off to watch The Tale of Nokdu instead which I haven't watched yet
*sigh* I don't know anymore if I can continue watching this due to what Ji Soo have done :/ (I love this drama) not only bullying , but also sexual assault... I know, I know I should also think of the other actors etc in this drama that are innocent and continue watch/support it for them.... but it's hard, because Ji Soo's character is after all the ML...
This is the second time I fell in love with a drama where the main actor turned out to be an ass... the other drama also being a historical drama
