Ji soo will for sure get the girl but we don’t know if he will die in the end :(

It’s actually a bit funny IMO xD Ji soo has Been casted as the second male lead so many times and so many wanted him to get the girl / to be cast as the ML..and when he finally is , some get SLS cheering for Lee Ji Hoon’s character to get the girl xD

Kang Ha Neul’s character is the father to a younger Ondal (and ofc the younger Ondal is not acted by Ji Soo , but by a teenager)

In every drama where there is two men (ML and SML) in love with the FL, there is always some that has SLS.
I think that after Ondal becomes a general too a lot more people will switch ship to Ga Jin with Ondal instead, because Ondal being a general will make him cooler and more badass looking

I understand where you are coming from, but Ondal was probably still in shock and very confused, it was probably also to not make her commit suicide. I have seen dramas where the ML hated the FL so much after finding out that her father was the cause of the death of his family etc , that he wanted her dead. I'm not saying the stuff Ondal said to Ga Jin was right, but I think it was realistic... just my opinion :) He could have came to hate her, but he didn't.

I definitely don't have SLS, I don't like Go Geon because he's too arrogant and selfish. By watching the teaser for next ep, I think I will fall even more in love with the love story of Ga Jin/ Ondal

Yep South Korea should know that this is not the Joseon era anymore. Give the same punishments to both men and women for about the same crimes they do , not heavier punishments to women just because of their gender. it’s so sick! Can’t believe they let park Shi hoo act again in dramas while Yoon eun hye is still blacklisted despite what she Did was not even nearly as bad as what park Shi hoo did ... sexist society! its clear that its only middle aged men / old men who has the highest powers that get to decide the fate of actors/actresses future, and ofc they’re always harsher to women because those men are sexist pigs :/

I agree she doesn’t look completely comfortable in kissing scenes , but in her previous dramas she looked even more uncomfortable/awkward, so this is definitely a improvement! Let’s see how her kissing scenes with Ji Soo in ”River Where the Moon Rises” will be like :)

if this drama keeps being just as great the remaining episodes, I will give this 10/10... even IF Ondal dies (after all, he dies in the folktale) but I hope the screenwriter will follow the novel until the very end where Ondal survives. But I will try to prepare for a tragic ending... I read somewhere that the screenwriter usually makes his dramas end in tragedy. If Ondal dies my heart will break... I love him.

Seems like lots have SLS, for me I don’t have the slightest. I don’t really like Go Geon so...I’m all for Pyeonggang and Ondal <3 they give me butterflies!

I read bits from the folktale, quite different from this drama and novel(?). In the folktale Pyeonggang does everything she can to make Ondal marry her (for her own benefits) having no feelings for him , they’re basically strangers when she asks him to marry her..at first he refuses, but eventually accepts ..

Anyways , I’m glad Ondal doesn’t hate Pyeonggang after finding out she is the Princess. Shows that despite him being a bit of ”fool” he is still rational and not stupid (In some dramas the ML hates the FL for having a cruel father who destroyed the lives of the ML’s family...but not Ondal, because he understands that it’s not Pyeonggang’s fault) He seems just to fall in love with Pyeonggang even more , as seen in the teaser of next ep! I’m glad their love story is moving fast forward (but still not feeling rushed) it would be a waste if Ondal hated her for a few episodes for stuff that it’s not even her fault, because then there would be less of their sweet/romantic moments

Maybe ”The Princess’ Man”. The FL was engaged to the other guy (ofc against her will) but he never meant anything to her, and no one got second lead syndrome watching this drama, the guy was a weakling after all betraying others... they don’t have much screentime together.

She is playing dual roles (the Queen). But Pyeonggang and Yeom Ga Jin are the same person.
Yes Ji soo is after all playing the ML character. i really like ondal:)

Seems like Korea still live a bit in Joseon era.... Always punish the women but let the men go despite having just as bad (or even worse) crime . So sexist and sickening!!
