What I love about this is that it’s set during Goguryeo era (since most historical k-dramas are set during joseon era) the FL is a badass warrior ..not one of those FLs that are described as ”strong” but in reality is weak and a push over... but here she is really strong for real!! Also the romance *swoon* after watching the last teaser I had butterflies in stomach, this love story will be SO epic!! While becoming Empress / the country is Pyenggang’s first priority she still comes to love On Dal a lot (I believe) , and he becomes her second priority. I’m sure I will love their love story so much !!

Well This drama will probably show that looks doesn’t matter since despite his ”ugliness” the FL eventuelly still falls in love with him :) Refreshing that for once the ML is not seen as a hottie and is dumb (which is very uncommon!)

So i guess they couldn't have ZH getting pregnant or otherwise it would ruin her "image", because one can't hide pregnant belly for too long... thats why they had a surrogate mother instead. Well, in the end she had her image ruined anyways.
Good first ep, Won Jin Ah is so pretty here. I read somewhere (a comment, someone who probably read the webtoon) that the cheating dude has a reason for two timing and he is not as terrible as he seems . My guess is that he really does like Song Ah but he is forced/ pressured by his family to marry that other woman. Just a wild guess, I could be totally wrong! Whatever the reason is, its still a act that can’t not be forgiven...
the drama is about relationship among adults... so obviously they arent gonna run around trees singing songs...…
Yep also the episodes are just 30 min, so I'm glad they became intimate early, I don't want to see them becoming intimate in the last few episodes because then then there would not be many romantic moments between them (since like i said, just 30 min per ep).
I think they have amazing chemistry and they make my heart flutter even tho they are already intimate. I definitely see emotions... it doesn't hurt that once in a while there comes out kdramas that actually potrays realistic adultlike relationships since 90% of kdramas are very innocent and tame.
hopefully it won't become like another 'Something in the Rain' which was great first half, second half tho..not so much (it's also a jTBC noona romance)
