Just to tell u beforehand, Ji Soo's acting is great. No hate, okay? Ion want misunderstanding. I'm only telling…
Trailer will be out on monday. Then you can get a glimpse of them together in the trailer and you will be able to sense if there is chemistry or no chemistry :)
Hated this drama, I HATED every single of the main leads. If you want a heartwarming sweet family drama then avoid this to ALL costs! Go instead for ”Life is beautiful” or ”My father is strange”.
I'm not usually into high school dramas (I'm way too old for them) but I have watched both seasons of original MG and also both seasons + final movie of HYD, during my early teens. So I will give this one a try, because MG and HYD are very special to me, one of my first dramas I watched! I know its weird but I have not bothered watching the korean BOF and chinese MG lol, but you know what? I'm going to rewatch original MG and HYD (because its been such a long time ago I watched those, so I have forgotten a lot), then watch BOF and the chinese MG! And when this thai version comes out I will watch it too ofc. It will be interesting for me to compare all the versions... see their differences each drama, their weaknesses and strengths, which drama I overall will like the most to which one I like the least. I will review all of those dramas here...
What I love about the original MG is that its set in college instead of high school with a slightly older cast, which means passionate kiss scenes ,which HYD (and from what I seen BOF , chinese MG and most likely the thai version) do not have. But I still like HYD more than MG, because they changed some things for the better (in my opinion) , the second HYD season was muuuuuch better than the MG's second season (which was terrible) , also the ending in HYD was perfect. Lets see if I will come to like any of the other versions more than HYD~ the trailer of the thai version is promising and I can already sense lots of chemistry between the leads!
Have you watched "Just Between Lovers"? In my opinion she did a great job in that drama (it was her first drama)
wow, you are the first one I come across that hate JBL so much...and the first one who hates it even more than Melting me Softly(?) But its interesting tastes can be so different, if everyone had same tastes in dramas it would be boring xD
This is Moon Chae Won's drama magnum opus, not Innocent Man (even if I'm SJK fan).
Exactly! in The innocent man she was kinda cool - at first. But after she lost her memories she got bland lol. In TMP she was great in whole drama :) such a strong willed, admirable person! :)
Meanwhile I'm waiting for this drama, is "Extraordinary You" worth watching? I'm not sure if I should try watching it, from what I understand the first half is very good but the second half not so much...
Wow! Thanks for your post, now I'm even more interested in this drama thanks to you. :) is Bun the killer? I don't…
Thanks for your detailed information. I really appreciate it!
I’m glad neither of the main leads are the killer. And i’m glad there Will be lots of romance :) I think Manner of Death Will become a legendary BL:) first because of Tul and Max...secodly because for once full grown adults that are working ~ (No high schooler or university students)
I have seen some people (not here) say that they feel that the trailer revealed a lot. Trust me when I say that…

I’m so happy they decided to go with a more mature poster instead of manhwa style. For that reason alone I’m interested in this, the poster is amazing.
This drama was great, but the last episodes has been a dissapointment. Cliches after cliches, I'm usually ok with cliches - as long as its done in a good way... DDSSLLS cliches was done in a bad way. It's like the screenwriter ran out of ideas or was just very lazy/lost interest in this drama... the ending is one of the most rushed and forced endings I ever come across, it left me feel empty... I felt no happiness or warmth or whatsoever (the earlier episodes made me feel so happy, fuzzy and warm... but for the last few episodes, nope). Even when Jun was alive I felt nothing. Also, how could Jun let Ra Ra believe he was dead??? That's so cruel! And how could his mom be so heartless to lie to Ra Ra about him being dead??? That's also so cruel! (some think that Jun might be really dead , that him being alive is only Ra Ra's imagination... see, when some are not 100% sure that Jun is alive... then it means the screenwriter is not good at her/his job). This drama lost its charm around ep 12 or so. If this drama had kept being great until the end I would have easily given this 8.5/10.
I just hope Bun is not the killer...In the trailer Tan aims the gun at Bun. And "hidden personality" is tagged here... I really don't want Bun to be the bad guy
I will review all of those dramas here...
