I also heard that he didn't want to see his son because Chen Xiao doesn't believe it's his son. Who knows what the real truth is and who's being unfaithful. But yes, I was disappointed when I heard he didn't want contact with his son. kids are innocent.

Li Yunrui just had a recent catapult to A-list stardom with Blossoms. As you know, prior to Blossoms being aired, he was just a second lead type. Generation to Generation was filmed before the airing of Blossoms. But yeah, now that he's one of the hot "it" male actors at the moment, it may feel odd to his fans, especially, to see him in a second tier role.

I agree! Didn't know this was going to be a comedy. Wang Hedi is perfect for this role. All the supporting cast members are great as well. Even the child actor's (youngest sister) comedic delivery is on point. I'm really enjoying this and feeling a little surprise the rating is not higher.

She didn't want her infidelity to come to light that was why she lied about Pan Yue Ming's addiction to gambling and abuse of her. I lost respect for her. His career took a nose dive because of this awful accusation. Fortunately he was able to make a comeback. Good to see he's doing well now.

I agree 100%. I totally understand he wants to be respectful to his wife, but he shouldn't take a romance themed dramas if he doesn't want to do love scenes.

There are 3 lip kisses between the main leads that I can remember. ML did a good job in those scenes but FL was very shy and barely let her lips touch his. There is a 10 yr age gap between them and maybe this is her first kiss as leading lady? 🤷🏻‍♀️ She didn't seem comfortable. You'll have to judge for yourself. It reminds me of The Long Ballad with Dilireba and Leo Wu. We saw the birds during their "kissing" scene.

Currently watching her in Melody of Golden Age. I'm sure we'll be seeing more of her in other leading roles. I'm surprised she's so young! She reminds me of Wang Xing Yue. Both are young in age but their mannerisms are more mature than their age.

The trailer looks amazing. Interesting story. Too bad we may never get to see this. Fan Bing Bing with tax evasion. It's been years and she's still blacklisted in mainland China. The male lead was embroiled in r*pe charges against a production assistant at a hotel in Australia. His case took 2-3 years but he was not found guilty. Unless they're reshooting with new actors or do cgi face swaps, this is prob shelved permanently.

The ML is handsome and talented. My only complaint is the age gap. With that said, I'm still going to watch it. lol

I haven't seen Go Ahead so I can't say if they're similar. I'm also big on costume/historical dramas. The only genre I used to watch but within these past 1.5 years I started watching more modern dramas. If you have nothing else to watch, give The Bond a try.

Have you seen The Bond? That was the first drama of his I watched. Such a good family drama.

I can't wait to see him in The Rise of Ning. His next drama release. Love him.

Yes!! I was so MAD at her. Completely reckless. She kept saying she was clumsy and dumb...the last episode she really lived up to that. So heartbroken for Batay because he loved Snow Shoe so much and it killed him to have to take Snow Shoe down. I also don't blame him for not seeing her for 3 years.

Thoroughly enjoyed this drama. Loved Huang Yimei's character. She's beautiful, intelligent, sassy, and has high EQ. Also, I never thought I could ever dislike Kenny Lin, but man, he nailed his role as a manipulative control freak. Hated his character 😂

Agreed. I haven't really been emotionally affected by a drama since the ending of Goodbye My Princess. All the actors in LYF are so so good. They all are able to interpret and portray their roles so well that it makes me empathize with them, even the flawed ones. Such a good and sad story but I love it! lol
