Amidst all of the commentary about these recent eps, I wanted to also chime in and say how happy I am that LYN…
Yes! I'm so glad his time has come. So deserving and he's earned it. I first saw him in The Long Ballad. Loved his character, Hao Du. For an untrained actor, he has surpassed those with formal training from elite acting universities. Cheers to LYN and hope he gets many more great scripts.
Just starting this. Did anyone else catch a parody scene from Love Like the Galaxy in ep 1? lol. For those further along, are there more parodies from other dramas? Li Yitong is so pretty here.
No ðŸ˜. It's there till episode 8ðŸ˜ðŸ¤§ðŸ¤§, according to the trailer
Agreed. Now they're both hurting because of that little jealous boy. Great acting though by both leads. You can really see the hurt in their expressions.
Another scene that was supposed to be emotional but I went MUAHAHHAHAHA. Why? Read on - Queen of Dongxia (in her…
Your comment made me laugh. I agree Zang Hai's mom isn't going to entertain the Queen's shenanigans with her husband in the after life. lol. The Queen's crush on Zang Hai's dad was just one-sided. He made it clear to her he wanted to go home to his wife and kids. He was a good man.
I like the cast and the drama worked for me because of them. I do grieve for WL ðŸ˜
Right, so sad. I loved Xiao Tao and General Wei Liang. They were so cute. I knew he was going to die the way they said goodbye to him at the gate. C drama writers love to kill off a good character.
Just finished. I was still traumatized from Liu Shi Shi's Journey to Love and then this happened, too 💔. I went back to watch the first couple episodes of Red Moon Pact and the plot there now makes better sense (to me) after watching this one. I'd forgotten what happened to Qinlan. Now I can't wait for Wangquan Fugui's story in the next installment.
I was just getting over my trauma from Love of Nirvana and Allen Ren does it to me again on Demon Hunters Romance.…
I agree. Neither of them could give up their life to follow the other because of their respective responsibilities (him reviving and ensuring the continuity of the Carefree Land and her to her parents). Honestly I thought I was going to be sad knowing beforehand it wasn't going to be a rosy ending, but I understand why they ended the drama like this. Besides, the portal opens every 12 years. I'm going to assume the possibility of them getting together in the future.
Just started this and am on ep 6 already. It goes by quickly. Doesn't feel draggy. Such a nice change from xianxia and typical romance dramas. Acting is superb from main leads and supporting casts. Glad to see Shawn Dou back. Hope he will pick up more projects in the future.
Glad they kept this at 24 episodes.. now I can binge the rest
24 episodes is why I was able to finish it. I wish Cdrama industry would cap all their dramas at 24 episodes max. These days it's hard to sit through 40 ep. I usually have to play it at 1.5x-2x the speed just to get through it. lol
