Exactly what I was trying to explain. Do not compromise your SELF, even for me. She had suppressed her SELF for SYR and he was telling her don't ever do that again in her new life, even for him. This was overheard by the Poison Princess and she UNDERSTOOD. She (poison Princess )did not want to force the man she loved either.

No, there is a difference in the way he said it. He was telling her not to compromise her SELF. Making compromises is a totally different beast. I make compromises with strangers all the time when doing business--for example, if my client doesn't like some part of my job (I do physical work), I compromise by either redoing it or taking it off the bill. But it's different if he said, hey, could you rewrite that bill higher so I can get a kickback from insurance or I won't pay you, then I won't compromise my SELF (values).

He said, never compromise yourself. It's very different from, don't make any compromises, ever. LOL.

Crazy Princess wanted the Most Talented Noblewomen to take the exam to show how capable women could be. I'm not sure what her motives were, but she sure got her wish. The most talented noblewoman showed her. Crazy Princess actually facilitated JL/XFF's path of revenge and thus, her own downfall.
BTW Another mirror: Crazy Princess liked to corrupt men (especially officials). XFF/Xiangli liked to show the corruptor's true face over and over (Stepmonster, Crazy Princess, Concubine Li, the Abbess. These women put out the purest faces while their actions were deadly).

Got a silly question.
After the kiss, in the next episode, Duke Su teased XFF (on the pretext of helping her brother), saying, "I'll be gentle." The two exchanged such a goofy, intimate look that I have a wild imagination about what he might be referencing LOL.
Can someone else here tell me what he'd meant by that? It's just weirdly funny. The first viewing, I didn't think much about it, but when you watch from the last scene, then the beginning of this episode, THE NIGHT AFTER the CANDLE, then I start wondering, LMAO.

Yes, but the topnotch ones, like the Voice Actress who dubbed Zhen Huan in Empresses, are very good and of course, stars in their own right. The viewers recognize the names and are fans. Love Me Love My Voice is about dubbers who are like rock stars in the industry LOL.

No, she has been dubbed by the same Voice Actress in every of her past drama.
