This is all revealed in the first few minutes of episode 1 so I don't think it is spoiler. When I think about…
There is no wrong or right in her mind, IMO. She stated her story very matter-of-factly. She was denied by her parents, so she denied them now. And then, when she was rejected by another set of parents (boyfriend's parents would be a new set), she fell back to her age-old mode when she was bullied--she had another set of parents, good ones, better than any.
Her need to protect herself from rejection was one of her first ways to form her armor. We see it coming from a place of needing love. When Hao Ming chose her (or so she thought), she was determined to be with him, no matter what. She said so herself. Her sense of rightness came from a need for security. We see it as a wrong way because lies is a weak foundation, but she probably wanted something so much, she thought she could do it, especially when she was such a meticulous planner.
The noose is going to get really tight in these episodes. Teaser Ep 11https://wetv.vip/en/play/hiw723xwp01jtp0/n41013dewvz-Teaser_EP11%3A_Love's_AmbitionTeaser…
I'm missing your quick funny spoilers/storytelling LOL.
Why why do i do this to myself.i just have to go and read the novel.because i couldn't take it theres just something…
It's an "adaptation with an ORIGINAL script," per the director. You're killing yourself worrying about a six page novel when there are 32? episodes in this drama. Although I do not know the ending, I know the novellet is very dark and this drama isn't like that at all. Yet. LOL.
I think William can play a CEO but not the calm and green flag one and dubbing doesn’t really suit his face…
Yes, I'm enjoying his subtle "green flag" and obedient son look because you know he ISN'T. When the truth comes out, can't wait to see his bad boy side. I've seen him in gritty Cantonese drama, so knows he's capable of it.
I am enjoying this but I find the narrative style confusing. It seems out of order and I can't always tell what…
Director perhaps have decided to do it like a movie each episode, using quick cuts to trigger the audience's anxiety and appetite for the next scene. It also pushes the narrative out-of-the-box, giving a "now" and "then" perspective from the FL's POV.
For example, a quick breakdown of a scene. She was accused of having a rich boyfriend now. Then she looked at a website and it zoomed in on the store/office front. We enters HER narrative of how she met her "rich" boyfriend. At that time, she didn't know he was rich and WE get her perspective that it was a natural meet, not of any desire to catch a rich boyfriend. We see how they met and to her, he was interested in her enough to, after a refusal of an interview, to call her later. Then, said boyfriend revealed to her he WAS rich.
As an audience, we get two perspective: the FL's POV and the director's POV. Her words about the agave plant stood out, but we saw per director's manipulation, the ML's look (and perhaps, POV). We saw how prepared he was of that meeting. FL's POV was that the ML was interested; the director's POV showed that something more was happening. This pushes the audience to question about motivation. Voila.
Can someone explain why she is even with him? She hasnt gained anything so far besides that interview with him…
She thinks he loves her and fell for her. In her mind, that must be why he chased her after the first refusal for the interview. Why else would he had called her back afterwards? She said so herself: he was the first one who CHOSE her (unlike her parents, who always chose the Other Daughter).
This drama is quite satisfying, just what I needed right now! 🔥Does anyone know if the cast is scheduled to…
Yayyy! Glad you're enjoying it too. No promo is scheduled because her agency is trying to blackball her and do no promo. TenCent dropped this without warning. This drama was expected to just bomb because of the silent treatment. But were they in for a surprise....
