Ha, I have pegged LuSi for Shen Miao, same author for Malicious Empress. She would be perfect for goofy young…
It's still in adaptation stage, so I have no idea. It's an almost IMPOSSIBLE story to adapt without the reincarnation factor and I really have below 10 percent hope of a good big platform script because of the ban.
If they use the "going into a game" fakeout, it loses the original flavor. I have read this book ten or twelve times and have played with adaptation ideas quite a bit and without the reincarnation, the malice of the malicious empress won't make sense.
Watching today's episodes will determine whether I drop or continue with this drama which is sad cause I expected…
It's not everyone's cuppa since it's not an idol drama which usually starts straight into romantic love. This is more a romantic suspense, with the suspense part covering the first part. The FL's characterization is front center, not the romance (because obviously, there is none since the ML is also using her). Her predicament becomes the plot--her house of cards, her past, and her ambition.
So, anyway, if you're looking for idol-type romance, I don't think you'll see this until perhaps half the drama is over, when the romance between the leads start to grow. Like I said, it's OK to drop it so as to save your time. I've done it to many dramas that didn't go beyond sweetness with no depth to the plot.
I just finished a novel from the author of the double and legand of female general i loved that novel and while…
Ha, I have pegged LuSi for Shen Miao, same author for Malicious Empress. She would be perfect for goofy young Shen Miao returning as the avenging malicious empress. And I've always known LuSi could do it because I've seen her stuff when she was in the young actors' reality show.
I know u all gonna hate me but I don’t like the ML 😭😭😭 can someone pls tell me if it’s gonna turn…
Well, if you're looking for the usual sweet romance, this isn't it. ML's relationship with the FL is very adult. They play mind games. Both have masks on as a form of self-protection. It's an adult world with adult games and the consequences are going to rip their world apart. After that, we get to see the real them. He wants her back, but he's going to have to do a lot of work to get her. For me, it's going to be fun to watch that part.
After reading the synopsis, I was interested, but the trailer killed my mood. I don’t think I’ll watch it—unless…
It's probably not your cuppa. Just wait for a month or two and decide then. That way, you won't need to keep asking people to convince you when nobody has watched the show beyond the first couple of days. There are other good dramas out there. Cheers.
