when the emperor said "i don't misjudge people!" i laughed so hard. cause what?
I really like the emperor in this drama. One can see he adores his son, but seriously what is up with Prince Yan's mother? No love whatsoever. I I'm on episode 28)
Possibly the only actor that can convey so much chemistry with his costar without physical kiss. I always get…
I noticed this as well. His kids scenes might be very gentle , but when it comes to expressing emotions, his acting is top notch. 👍 There are dramas when the main leads kiss but in general there is no emotion nor chemistry!
Really enjoying this but there are a few things that feel *off* that take away from the enjoyment a little so…
I'm having problems connecting to the episodes in the middle of the drama. I guess scenes must have been cut out. There is no smooth transition. Will continue watching though.
This drama is a very different take to all the dramas I have watched so far. Their relationship is very subtle and slowly building up. They are both down to earth main characters and both actors suit the roles well. It will be interesting to watch what will happen when and it they grow closer together (one really hopes). He is one of my favourite Chinese actors and I really hope that this time it will be a happy ending!
This drama is slightly different. Well, it has different vibes to the others I recently watched. Very down to earth, but also quite bizarre with all these weird otherworldly creatures. I like that the leads are both quite quirky in their own ways. She plays the innocent girl quite well and I can only hope that there will be character development happening to draw out her courageous side. Pretty sure he already gives a bit of confidence already. I always like hearing his voice 😊
I finally completed this drama and whilst I never thought I would watch it, I really liked the story line. The banter between the main leads started off so well, but a bit disappointed that there was no kiss scene at all. On occasion Esther's character became a bit too childish for me. Thinking of it, I never really saw her in a serious play. The cinematic was really good. I felt Y Mu's character a bit bland, but overall still acceptable. The ending was interesting. I'm glad I watched it 😊. It's recommendable for sure.

I like it that they are investigating word cases.
