I believe that’s because most BL give their most focus on fanservice and how to please the fans. This story however is a psychological story with two male leads who happen to be romantic partners and also some interesting topics that made it interesting. Tbh this drama has a lot of tropes that are not my thing like high school romance, bully and more but somehow it managed to get me invested since ep 1. So yeah good story and debates are fun.

Pretty sure a lot of us will love Koyama a lot and me too. At first he gave me a huge second lead syndrome but then I realize if he end up with Hira, it will hurt this boy since Hira and Kiyoi fit together like puzzle and Hira considers dating him as second choice. Koyama definitely deserves better.

They do but only after they clear their misunderstanding and Hira got some wake up call out from Kiyoi about his extreme worshipping.

The reaction to this drama mostly from international fans is probably the most overreacting I’ve ever seen for a fiction, some even went as far as calling it homophobic lol but somehow it puts attention to this series (I found it through the complaint from ppl on twitter too and decided to see how ‘bad’ it can be, now I’m hooked)

In the blcd that i listened to, both of them didn’t officially date anyone. Hira almost dated that friend who confessed to him but Kiyoi suddenly showed up, as for Kiyoi he made it clear that he saves all of his first time for Hira over the years but a lot of people did try to hit on him since he’s kinda open being gay in his acting circle.

Exactly, when you watch that scene you felt awkward and tense with the character. This drama had amazing cinematography and great camera work so far, I don’t think they would let an ‘awful’ shot exist without a purpose to set the right mood lol

I’ve seen many people complaining about the kiss being awkward and not “hot” Idk what do people expect from a pair of kids who never kissed before ☠️

You are right, I feel like he really convince us a believable realistic character he’s playing and the actor is so young 😮 I checked his other works and found out he grows as child actor so no wonder he’s really good.

He went from the male lead that I dislike the most to the only male lead that cured my second lead syndrome by just started talking 😂 he’s THAT amazing.

Koyama is the kind of guy that give us second lead syndrome, I want to root for him but i feel bad if he actually get in relationship with Hira and one day learn that he will always be second choice for his bf. Also Kiyoi knows how to win the reader’s heart back by just narrating the story 🤣 we all quickly turn our head back

Funny how we all can agree we can see Hira dating another boy more than seeing Kiyoi dating another boy. Kiyoi is just too whipped to move on while Hira actually almost move on with Koyama.

Tbh i don’t mind character have other love interest during time parting from each other but this if real and not Hira’s weird imagination then it kinda changed Kiyoi character completely from the original lol

Best possible outcome: they kept the important parts to Kiyoi’s POV at least the last 2 ep of the drama.

Worse outcome: they cut and forget it like right now till the end ☠️

I’m hoping for the best bc those stuffs are important for Kiyoi’s character.

Tbh so far they are not even in relationship yet 😅 I don’t think we can give rating on that. If you are uncomfortable maybe better to wait until the end of this show to look for overall review.

How I summary both the Kiyoi and Hira’s attraction to each other after 3 ep : “ damn he has a lot of red flags, lucky for me I like red “ ☠️

The guy in the pic with Kiyoi isn’t Hira so I don’t think this is the bathroom scene between the main couple 😂 if they ever gonna keep that Scene it should be the last ep

Yeah i think the point of most TV adaptation is to promote the source material that’s why it’s shorter than original drama.

I just think that shot was so nice. The new guy touched his thigh in the teaser clip for next ep so i wasn’t shocked either, just found that Kiyoi is so beautiful the more I watch this drama.
