I think, it’s kinda a thing for graduate student to confess their love at the graduation day and Kiyoi probably wanted a proper confession in a romantic way (since he’s all smile after leading Hira to the back of the school where there’s only two of them). Also, before the hand kiss, Kiyoi knows he’s gay, he wanted to ask Hira to confirm it Hira is the same as him bc Hira seems to worship him as an idol more than seeing him as a man at that time.

First intimate scene between them, Kiyoi got turned on and Hira offered to help and after helping Kiyoi getting off, Kiyoi offers to help him too but Hira refused and ran toilet to relieve himself and told Kiyoi he didn’t think of Kiyoi, it hurt Kiyoi pride a lot lol he started to feel insecure that Hira doesn’t see him as lover or attracted to him anymore. Second intimate scene is at the end after confession to each other, Hira asked to touch Kiyoi for the first time as lover not as someone he worship like a king and every step in their sex he respects Kiyoi’s desire and ask for his permission before he did anything.

Actually his eyes was on Koyama who patted Hira’s back when he said that. He was referring to seeing the ‘new bf’ acting sweet with him as gross not about Hira’s disorder.

Asian fans love this series, we are glad to see a different story interpreted with such an interesting 2 sides point of view which make you realize a person can be seen different in different point of view and a flaw of character always bring a consequences to their life later on. Most complaint are from western viewers, I don’t know maybe it’s their culture or smth but clearly if they can’t open mind to a different story, then it’s not for them.

Both Hira and Kiyoi are the main characters but they are not good people, the characters themselves know and admit that, Koyama is a good person but that doesn’t mean his relationship with Hira would work bc Hira only see him as a safe replacement for Kiyoi who he believes is too impossible to reach (which is cruel), he deserves to move on from this mess and get his own sweet boyfriend who will love him for himself not bc he does nice things to them.

Koyama is so adorable and the best boy already in this story, I feel like he’s the first second lead in BL drama that give me a tug at heartstring but at the same time I don’t want him to get accepted by Hira because he deserves better than being second for someone he likes.

I normally dislike smut being put in story just for the sake of fanservice but in Utsukare case, it’s different bc their nsfw scenes are actually important to the story and understanding the characters ☠️ I want to see how they will execute it without actually being nsfw

The increase of Kiyoi protectors club will increase in comment section next episode, the debate here will be interesting 😂

Yeah the actors are around my age, I feel like actors this young won’t do much in these intimate scene like actors in their 30s I did watch some of Riku’s old drama with s*x scenes but he does accurate as young inexperienced characters. But the nsfw of this novel is very intense 😂 I also won’t mind if they skip.

Also i don’t know what the drama age rating is but I think It’s safe to say they probably won’t put the 2 nsfw scenes from the original to this drama 😂 IMO both actors are young and a bit awkward with skinship and that’s okay except I probably will have to see fangirls everywhere complaining how it’s not hot for them for weeks after the drama ends lol

As soon as Kiyoi starts narrating from now on to the last 2 ep, I’m really happy 😭 Everything from their high school until now will be seen from a different perspective and told a different story. Thank you writer and director, they know what they are doing. This is quite a unique and interesting way of telling a 2 sides story.
