In the manga, Yanase was the main narrator of the first vol before confession and leaving to Canada so we already saw his silly thought and insecurity from the start and Kaneda was the mysterious one. In Vol 2, after coming back to japan, Kaneda was the one who can’t focus on work and he’s the one doing the narrating lol i don’t mind. I do prefer the cute Yanase in the drama over the horny and pushy Yanase in manga.

I’m a big simp of this drama since last year but when I first watched I also feel a little uncomfy with Hira until I get to Kiyoi and second novel CD, he’s so craving for attention and wanting Hira to be all pushy and obsessed over him lol he actually would cry when Hira being all respectful and gave him space

Would you also say the same for example when Kieta Hatsukoi have a date scene of lovers taking photo of each other like they did in cherry magic ?

Unpopular opinion but I like the addition of evil-ex plot with Benji lol even tho it’s kinda sad that as soon as Kaneda starts to understand his feeling, Yanase will be snatched away.

He cries so well even in kamen rider where it’s suppose to be children show lol try watching Signal 100 movie, he’s a good actor there too (if you are into horror)
I’m amazed at people who hate this drama and still stay around, watch it and bothering people who love it even tho there are many other BL drama they can go to enjoy instead.

Is the humor in this show like Fukou-kun wa Kiss Suru Shikanai? Is it level 1000 in the over-acting?
IMO I like the acting and chemistry more than fukokiss but the genre is romcom Jdrama so you gotta expect the overacting script. So you should see for yourself if it’s smth to your taste.
Love ep 3, really miss this drama and the characters after 2 weeks break 😭 not sure about others but as a manga reader first, I enjoy that they are written it slightly different from the manga but at the same time staying the same. I loved Naito and Seto from their kamen rider series and they don’t disappoint me here. Naito’s Yanase smile is just so precious and Seto’s Kaneda’s reaction and fanboying is just TOO CUTEE.
Cheese, funny and cute characters with mutual pinning, I can’t ask for more from a romcom.
