It took time for me to get into the drama. The first episode was lackluster for me and I dropped it once. Restarted almost a year later, and made it through ep 2 where it caught my eye a bit. By ep 4 it got better and better. The investigations are well detailed though coincidental meetings of the reporter and detective a bit contrived. Overall, the detailed investigations showing each step of the process leading to the conclusions (even if sometimes predictable) are what kept me in the show. Definitely one of the better light hearted investigation shows. Doesn't take itself too seriously while not being headache inducing dumb as well!
Flower of Evil is a masterpiece, I'm gonna have to check out their other works too.
I'm one of the rare ones then, who loved having seen most of her Drama Specials already, and then loved seeing Flower of Evil. To later check out and realize they are all by the same writer. Mind-blown! Definitely looking forward to more works from her :)
Almost dropped the show in the starting few episodes, started out super cliche. Still cliche, but in a much more digestible way. Hopefully doesn't go awry again. However, got to say that it is shot beautifully in very warm calm tones. The reason I stuck with it. It feels like reading a book more than watching a drama. Enjoying it now by ep 12. Waiting for next 10! Once again, don't go awry show, you've been improving episode by episode.
My Huckleberry Friends was such a strong start for his career, and he has only matured over the years! Really looking forward to seeing where all he goes.
No it's not an exaggeration. I feel you. Dramas that I really like always leave behind a hole hard to fill in…
It's okay I can't explain it properly either, but I know exactly what you mean, The emotional investment and memorability of dramas are actually the most important categories for my drama viewing experience <3
It's a cute feel good drama, but something felt a little missing. Maybe the emotions were not explained properly or emotional transitions not convincing enough. Don't get me wrong, I rated it pretty high and loved it because it was such a sweet watch, but a little shallow.
