Hey, the world is a far bigger place for you to have your opinion and kim hye yoon to show her range, you keep commenting negatively about her, that kind of hate will only make you an unhappy person. Just watch the series then if you don’t like her acting - that’s fair. I saw you commenting similarly even before the series aired. I don’t think what you are doing is ‘right’ towards Kim Hye Yoon, from the looks of it she is a genuinely nice person, if you have something personal against her - please try to be objective and comment on the work she is doing - atleast see the work then express your opinion. A lot of celebrities are in unhealthy mental state becaz of this kind of unjust hate towards them. It’s not right. I have seen a lot of hyeyoon’s press-briefings/interviews, she is a patient, polite, easy to talk to person. Please think about the hate you keep giving, it’s not right. It’s also unhealthy for you. This is a GREAT SHOW, Lu Yu Xiao is on fire since last year Love in the Clouds, no one talked about it and I thoroughly enjoyed that one - then started this one simply out of faith in her - She did not disappoint. Every episode keeps you interested. this is a GOOD SHOW so far.
This is ONE OF THE BEST political series I have seen in my life, they get YOU INTERESTED in palace politics even if you had ZERO interest to begin with, I have to say this - I never liked these sort of costume dramas, I only liked romance in a series - maybe a bit of comedy, but this series - MY GOD, SOOOO WELL WRITTEN, episodes flew by even before I knew it and I was knee-deep in the plot, Bai Lu - is captivating, I'm watching every one of her series after this, I am HOOKED. TRUE-ROMANCE - like 'romance' begins long after like ep 30 - but trust me if you watch this you won't regret it. This has got to be one of the ALL-time best. 8.7 is underrated, this has to be like 9.3+.

It's BS, this series starts slow but is probably solid 9.5. I gave it 10 and it deserves more praise, I was hooked for 4 days straight and I hate this sort of costume drama, I fell in love. I like modern dramas like First Frost, if they made a hater like me into a fan - THEY DESERVE a 10/10 rating. Come on now, 8.7 is BS.
This is an amazing drama, I rarely watch this kind of costumed up shizz, be that Cdrama or Kdrama, my only other watch has been Alchemy of Souls, PLEASE GIVE THIS A TRY. It was amazing from beginning till end, every episode was very interesting, their way of showing fantasy element and VFX is top notch, this made me a fan of the genre. VERY VERY GOOD. 10/10
Show stealer really is Tian Xi Wei, her acting in episode 17 got me, I never wanted opposition to win in any drama, but this time I did. She was so sweet ! I am so glad i watched this, I’m gonna watch dafeng and 4 other series which she is lead in, what great support role - writers deserve credit as well.
This actress was very good, I think she got me with her acting, she should get more different roles, this was amazing to watch. By actress i mean Go min Si… this was genuinely masterclass in acting.
