I LOVED all the characters and storylines in this drama.

I LOVED both main leads in this drama. Seo In Guk had some of the best LINES. I thought the FL would be one of those goodie goodie FL's, that are annoyingly nice. But, she wasn't, she can be more savage than the ML from time to time.

I LOVED how the plot of this drama wasn't dragged. Every single episode had its own story, or was an extension to the previous episode. When one storyline ended, another unexpected storyline would start. All the side characters had their own story, whether it's on or off screen, it didn't just focus on the main leads. The main leads story did get kind of boring, the second leads story is similar to the usual love triangle kdramas I watch, and it was really good on it's own. All the characters were connected somehow and all the main characters and the FL's brother had a bond of sorts.

I originally started this drama for Lee Soo Hyuk after Born Again and more so after the Scholar Who Walks the Night. And, I LOVED his charecter, Cha Joo Ik's atitutude was EVERYTHING, again, with really good lines. There is a love triangle in this drama, for the second lead couple, and I LOVED it, because, for a second lead couple, unlike a main couple, there's a possibility for either love intrest to be endgame. And I was shipping Joo Ik hard with Ji Na. I LOVED how all Joo Ik wanted was to litterally be the main lead to Ji Na's novel because her ex, Hyun Gyu was always the main lead to all her other stories.

SPOILERS:
I loved how this drama had a very closed and wrapped up ending. I usually like open ending so I can make up my own ending, but this ending closed the drama perfectly.
I also loved that it had a happy ending, it would have been just as good with a sad ending. Honestly, I was also expecting a happy ending despite the drama having a sad undertone, simply because it constantly gave hints so a happy ending even though every character thought it would be a sad ending.

Character/ relationship development and plot twists

I really enjoyed this drama, the best thing about this drama for me was the relationship between Seungchun and Tae Yong which really doesn't developed until the second half of the drama. This drama was kind of slow because a lot of the plot twist, relationships (non-romantic) and essentially the more interesting storylines do not come in until around episode 10.

I did not like the romance in this drama. There was a huge time jump in this drama and I don't understand how the romantic relationships between all of the characters remained the same during and after this period. The only good relationship this time created was the parent/son relationship between Tae Yong and Seungchun's parent's and I would even say a nice relationship between Seungchun and Tae Yong's 'father'. I loved Munki's relationship with Tae Yong and Seungchun, despite them both being the same person to Munki, their relationship with Munki was VERY different. Tae Yong and Munki had a brotherly relationship. (I don't watch BLs and usually don't randomly ship guys but) I started shipping Seungchun and Munki, heck they were the only 'couple' I shipped.

I preferred Yu Jin over Joo Hee. Unlike every other charecter in this drama Joo Hee was the only one who stayed persistently the SAME, no character development, nothing, she is so self-righteous to the point that it was annoying. Yu Jin made mistakes, but she changed a lot throughout this drama from being selfish and cold, to someone who actually cared about Seungchun. Joo Hee was the only character I did not like and I wish we got to see a lot more of the brotherly bond between Seungchun and Tae Yong instead of the romantic storyline between Seungchun and Joo Hee. (SPOILERS) I would have been fine with her had she just stopped after discovering how Seungchun swappeed places with Tae Yong, but then she spent the rest of the drama begging him to switch back, to be himself etc, despite the fact that Tae Yong was happy being Seungchun and Seungchun had already been Tae Yong for over 10 years, at this point he had no right to switch back.
I wish it was Yu Jin and Seungchun at the end and Tae Yong and Joo Hee, both pairs would have been perfect for each other.

I will not go into detail about the plot twists, but I feel like it was quite predictable. You see, every single person who has used the golden spoon, for some reason in this drama, have the exact same view on poverty, on how "being poor is a crime".

I liked the ending of this drama, but I wish we got Tae Ying and Seungchun's bromance instead of Yun Ji and Seungchun.

I will never get over this drama, it is AMAZING

This drama was a rollercoaster of emotions and yet it was still hilarious throughout because of the leads and their bickering.

PERFECT CAST with AMAZING CHEMISTRY between all the characters, especially the leads. I need Ztao and Zu Er to be the leads on another drama together. Their characters had a wonderful love/hate relationship for each other. Qian Wei genuinely disliked Lu Xun (reasonably so) but Lu Xun had been in love with her for 11 years.
The BEST thing about their relationship is the fact that despite the fact that he was always in love with her, he didn't treat her like a 'lover' like in one scene in episode 1 where she was about to fall into a pond (of sorts) with her bag that carried evidence, instead of helping her, he snatched the bag and watched her fall into the water. That scene is exactly how their relationship is throughout the drama. It's no wonder she never figured out that he liked her.

It had the BEST and consistent WRITING. It started uphill and stayed uphill throughout and it revealed every single detail of the plot, so there were NO potholes or open/unsatifying endings to any of the storylines.
The relationship between the leads never changes, they bickered all the time whether they were a couple, rivals at university or boss/employee. I loved their boss/employee relationship because it never seemed like he was her boss with the way she treats him but the way she talks about him makes it sound like he was a terrible boss to her, which we never actually see because as the audience we know that he is in love with her and is trying to help her by making her read so many cases and do so much work.

I LOVE that we got to see Qian Wei's dream of re-living the past (seeing things in a new light and discovering Lu Xun's crush on her in real life) and falling in love with the young Lu Xun.
We also got to see quite a lot of Qian Wei and Lu Xun's actual past together and why their relationship is the way it is in the present.
Unlike every other time travel/ alternate dimension/ dream world dramas Iv'e seen or heard of (I've seen a LOT), this is the ONLY drama I've seen where the plot focuses on both the dream work and real world. The drama doesn't end after the dream ends, we got at least 10 episodes set in the real work and we got to see the leads fall in love in the dream world and in real life

Lu Xun is like the typical second lead, which he actually was in Qian Wei's actual past whilst Chong Wen the actual second lead, lived the life of a main lead in Qian Wei's actual past and for the 11 years leading to the present. this drama really showed Lu Xun's turn around from second lead to main lead (in a drama world). I tend to get second lead syndrome a lot in dramas, especially because a lot of the time the second lead is better than the main lead in every way and this drama showed the perfect ending of the second lead becoming the main lead.

The meaning behind this drama is that you can't change the past. Qian Wei spends a lot of this drama trying to change her past thinking her dream is real and even then, she couldn't change her fathers death but she was able to accept it and sort of be at peace with it (because his death gave her so much trauma at first that she couldn't be a lawyer by passing the exam). Despite the dream not being real, she was able to turn her life around for the better after waking up. Her dream helped her get over the past and straighten out her reality in the present.

I LOVE Ztao's OST for this drama. I can't stop listening to it. I also recommend looking up the English lyrics to the song because it fits PERFECTLY to the plot of the drama, here is some of it (the only one I could find that made sense):
"You are the rest of my life
My love for you is more than a billion stars
Even if we live in other world
I'm still all about you

I got a crush on you bae
I can't hide all my feeling
Do I still need to prove it?
You Know how much I love you
All the rest of my life is about you"

Seriously, Lu Xun waited 11 years to be with Qian Wei, he had a crush on her for YEARS. Though I didn't feel bad about his wait as much as I thought I would because he was terrible at showing her he liked her. He was "mean" to her face and did so much for her behind her back and never wanted her to know about what he did. He dragged his confession for 11 years and was unwilling to confess to her altogether, it was his fault for not telling her he liked her from the start, a typical second lead (though he is the main lead).

The Backlight of Love; A drama without any love

This is such a twisted drama that you'd think will be about love but is entirely about deception and morally ambiguous (or outright cruel) characters.

A really underrated, with surprisingly low ratings drama but definitely worth the watch especially with its length:
This is a very short 10-20 minute episode, 11 episode drama with an amazing cast, script, storyline and acting.

Dilraba played a girl who was madly in love with Merxat's character, for several years. If it was anyone else I'd say it was obsession, but Dilraba played Jiang Li so well that you know it's love, a somewhat twisted love. She is then 'killed' on her wedding day when she was about to run away from her wedding with the supposed 'love of her life'. You can already guess who the killer is from the stabbing scene alone.

It does not matter who the ML and SML is, I really thought it would matter but they were both equally leads and come with a lot of twists in their 'love'. The casting was PERFECT for everyone.
If you think Qian Qiu was bad, then just wait for the twists that come with Mo Yan.
Jiang Li isn't the saint she's made out to be, but she's definitely the most 'good' person in this drama.

I say this is a drama without love because this entire drama focused on whether the ML's ever loved the FL and the FL trying to remember which one killed her. They were both deceiving her, but I think Qian Qiu (Xu Wen) genuinely loved Jiang Li, the way she loved Mo Yan. And like Yang Xu Wen's character in "The Memory About You" (which I couldn't finish), he deserved so much better from the FL, even if he did deceive her.

This drama does NOT have a happy ending. But I think the happiest ending it could have had was the ending it got. It was the perfect ending.

I LOVED all the characters, character development and family dynamics.

Before mentioning anything about the leads, I have to talk about how much I loved the family dynamics in this drama and how it really delved into it. Not just for the FL and ML, but also for a lot of the supporting characters. It focused on a lot of different types of family dynamics: biological families, adopted families and step families. It has abusive families, abuse in different forms as well as very loving and non abusive families. I've also never seen this many orphans in a Kdrama, especially where the main plot isn't neccesarily about the characters being orphans.

I LOVED this drama. I LOVED the FL, how smart and strong she was to deal with everything (loss after loss) on her own. And I LOVED the ML, he was refreshing, despite being rich and having everything, he wasn't always rich and so knew the value of every penny, litterally every penny. He was so sweet and in his own way, he was the kind of male lead the treated everyone cold but had a soft spot for the FL and only the FL.

I loved that the ML and FL met when the FL still had everything, so that the ML could see her at her best and then at her worst when everything starts to go downhill.

I also LOVED the SML and slowing growing to despise him more and more each episode. I loved that we didn't have the typical sweet SL who did everything for the FL only to be "friendzoned". Here, he be deserved it and so much more. Despite how sweet he seems at present, he is a snake. His past self may seem bad for dumping the FL the way he did with an outright cruel justification, his present self, even when he's "good" showed just how little he thought of the FL, believing himself to be her knight in shinning armor. One she did not need from anyone. But I also loved him for being so protective off her and loving her (in his own toxic way), I would have despised it where he the male lead though. I loved all the scenes where he would care for the FL and try to come to her rescue. I had a strange love/hate for him, he's usually the kind of toxic male lead I love watching in a (moderatly) toxic drama. His character development is him essentially getting worse and worse every episode.

I LOVED the ending. I was so happy that the leads stayed together until the end, no break up, just adorable bickering.
I think everyone got the ending the they deserved, maybe not the step family, but I didn't care for them much.

My FIRST EVER Kdrama that got me into Kdrama's

This was my first EVER Kdrama and Asian drama in general. It was the Kdrama that got me into Kdramas and later C/J/Tdramas. I watched this almost exactly a year ago (October 2020) whilst it was ongoing and ironiclly enough, it is the only non-romantic Asian drama I've watched and I only watch dramas with at least some romance.

I'm surprised no one talks about this drama and a lot of people don't even know about it. It is extremely underrated.

I watched this drama whilst it was on going and it had me anxiously anticipating the next episodes every week. It had me theorisng the ending from the very beginning and every episode had me shook. I still remember it very clearly. This drama had no romance, and would have been truly disturbing if it did. But, it had hints of it, hints that the FL may have liked the ML in a non platonic or familial way.

This is the ONLY time travel drama I've seen that actually looks at the science of time travel whilst timetraveling, and actually focuses on how timetravel came to exist. It is a very real world detective drama mixed with outright sci-fi, completely different genres that clashed in the best way possible. It also had me obsessing over time travel dramas for months.

My favourite part of this drama was the story of the ML's parents. I LOVED his parents and they had the most interesting as well as heartbreaking storyline, one we see at the very start of the drama. I would have been happy just to see a drama of their story. I wish we got to see more of the ML's dad, he was the most badass character in this drama and with the best character development, not to mention, handsome as hell.

The ONLY thing I HATED about this drama was the ending. After spending weeks theorising just about every ending I could think off, they somehow came up with the worst ending for this drama that I couldn't even contemplate. Considering how this drama focused a lot on the science of time travel, a science that made sense especially with the chronological order of events, they somehow made the ending make absolutely no sense whatsoever. The last episode made a 180 and completely deviated from the plotline of the previous 15 episodes.

I highly recomend this drama to anyone despite the ending, because the first 15 episodes are definitely worth the watch. It is still one of the most UNIQUE Kdrama's (and Asian drama) I've seen or heard of and the plot was very detailed and every episode was unexpected. You will not be able to anticipate what will happen the next episode, forget anticipating the ending. There are so many twists in this drama and I LOVED almost all of them.

Adorable, fast paced, short drama with a cringe trope

I LOVED this drama. It was short, straight to the point and adorable. It was also quite fast paced which is why I think a lot of people didn't like, or maybe understand this drama.

I loved how adorable this drama was. Despite it being extremely unrealistic and cliche, it wasn't in the least bit cringe. It had me smiling from ear to ear throughout every episode. The cast was perfect and the acting was also really good, especially for this type of, usually cringe trope, drama.

The male lead is handsome as hell, something I usually never mention, but he really fit his role. I love how the story was told, with it being mostly from the FL's prospective, but each episode would end, or even midway though, showing the important scenes from the ML's prospective.

The female lead was smart, reasonable and had an adorable relationship with everyone. She reminded me of the FL from Extraordinary You . The little sister was also really adorable and I loved how she brought the male lead into their lives.

I also loved the ending of this drama, despite how short it was, it was able to have an unexpectedly closed happy ending. The ending really couldn't have been better.

I was not expecting the plot to go as it did, and I don't really mean this in a good way.

I feel like this show was both unnecessarily long and yet not long enough. I wish it focused more on the zombie aspect of the ML, and him wanting to be human, rather than the detective aspect.

I loved every single character in this drama. The ML was a mood and kind of reminds me of a grumpy cat. The FL was the kind of crazy that I LOVE. There was no romance in this drama, though I was expecting it. I also shipped the FL more with her police friend rather than the ML.

My favourite storyline was the ML finding out who he was before he died, and this only took place within the span of 2 episodes.
I also liked how he had to learn how to talk, walk and move his limbs all over again after becoming a zombie. This took place within an episode.

But, this drama didn't really focus much on him being human again, or even how he became a zombie to begin with. They went over how he became a zombie, very BRIEFLY. And, like every other (specifically US) crime show, this drama mostly focused on the detective storyline.

I was very unsatisfied with the ending of this drama, because the drama didn't even acknowledge a storyline that I really wanted it to explore. A storyline of the ML actually pursuing the chance to be human again through siencetific means. That one brief scene at the end, and an open ending for both leads did not do it for me.

I LOVED everything about this drama

I didn't read the synopsis or look at anything on MDL before starting this drama, so I didn't know who the main male lead was. But, it was very obvious who the male lead was from the very beginning of this drama. The second lead is litterally like every second lead in every other kdrama or cdrama.

I LOVED No Min Hoo's curly hair in this drama. I hated the straight hair on stage look, but he looks amazing with curly hair. Park Ki Woong also looked really good in blonde. The male leads both had amazing hair in this drama. I didn't really like Hwang Jung Eum's curly hair in this drama, I liked her straight hair towards the end, but her curly hair made her look like a poodle. The only thing I liked about her curly hair was that both the ML and FL's "natural" hair were extremely curly, just another sign that they were meant to be.

I LOVED the plot of this drama and how it didn't drag any of the storyline but instead introduced new and unexpected storyline at the perfect times. I was not expecting the plot to go as it did, though some parts were cliche, it's not cliche in the way you'd expect it to be. The fact that the leads met when they were children made no difference to their storyline, what's more important was the fact Tae Ik met L.J at that time as well, screwing his life over for several years.

The only character I hated in this drama was Man Ok's best friend. Man Ok's friend was anything but a good friend to her, she's the kind of person who's completely fine stabbing her friend in the back, playing innocent to get what she wants and then blaming someone else for their own fault. I loved how she became more and more irrelevant to the drama, and that Man Ok was able to put her in her place. But, at the end, I feel like she still didn't get what she deserved. I love that L.J for what he deserved.

I LOVED the music in this drama. It has a really good spotify playlist. The main leads are an idol duo, but I only recall hearing them sing 2 songs and they sang only "Touch" for the majority of the drama.

SPOILERS:
I LOVED Kang Hwi and I am really happy with the ending he got. The leads, as expected, got their HEA.

Spent the entire drama trying to figure out who the male lead was.

I liked the idea of this drama. However, I LOVED the executed even more because it was very unique with so many twists. It was definitely worth the watch, though I have to warn you that you'd get really bad second lead syndrome.

At the start of this drama, for the first several episodes I was certain that Shu Hai was the ML and that Jasper Liu's character was the SML. I was hoping to be wrong throughout this entire drama because I had serious second lead syndrome and after around 9 episodes, I thought that Jasper might in fact be the ML. It was one hell of a ride figuring out who the ML is and hoping it's Hong Pei.

I didn't like Shu Hai at first. I loved his loyalty and friendship with Hong Pei, but he's crush on Si Yi was outright creepy. I was surprised by the 180 he made with his relationship with Si Yi, it went from creepy and "perverted" (as Hong Pei likes to call it), to really sweet and understanding. I still preferred Hong Pei over Shu Hai.

Ending (SPOILERS):
I HATED the ending of this drama. It's one of those tragic dramas that gives you hope for a happy ending and you almost get it. But, then at the very last minute, it gives you the worst possible ending. I hated this drama for giving me so much hope. I really wanted Hong Pei and Si Yi to end up together, it made complete sense for that to happen as Si Yi's feelings for Hong Pei hadn't changed in the 6 years he's been 'dead'. She spent 6 years mourning him, but never gave up on him, and she still ended up with Shu Hai!!!

I have nothing against Shu Hai, but it should have been Hong Pei.

Not to mention the fact that Shu Hai hasn't ever interacted with Hong Pei whilst Hong Pei was alive. Shu Hai and Hong Pei had such a good friendship. Shu Hai even mourned for Hong Pei when he saw Hong Pei's body in a coma, despite being able to interact with his soul. It's so messed up that they couldn't meet as people and share a drink together like they always wanted. I wanted them to have a lifelong friendship and I am so sad that, that didn't happen.

It's messed up that Hong Pei and Si Yi couldn't end up together. Or, that Shu Hai and Hong Pei couldn't be friends whilst they were both alive and conscious. It felt like the entire plot of the drama was pointless since these didn't happen.

"You cannot know every single detail of your life, just because you know the last moment".

Watched this drama for Ok Taecyeon after watching him on Vincenzo.

I'm not exactly happy that I watched/started this drama, it's not the kind of drama I'd usually watch. I didn't like the tone of this drama, the music, the voiceovers, the colour scheme and everything made it seem like it'd be a tragedy. The overall tone was depressing despite the fact that the only truly tragic character was the SML. I don't like dramas that make me feel depressed, I don't mind a sad ending, just not a drama that is overall JUST depressing. It wasn't even depressing because of the story line, but because of how they executed it.

I tried so hard to like the FL, I let so many of the annoying things she does slide, and at around episode 11, I finally liked her. She really annoyed me for the first several episodes and came off as the kind of 'strong female lead' that that I hate, a week woman pretending to be strong at all costs. She went too far to show her authority and status as an police officer in order to undermine a very non-cliche ML. At the very first episode she immediately and unreasonably so, trusts that the ML can in fact see people's deaths when he looks them in the eye, before knowing anything about him. But then for half the drama, after they've established a trust, she doesn't trust his foresight any more, she just goes "maybe" he's right, when he's obviously right looking at it from the evidence and not the foresight. (SPOILERS) If she had let the ML do what he first though he had to do to stop everyone's death, then they wouldn't have had to go to such extreme lengths to get the ending they got. But she didn't and so the happy ending, though happy, came off as sad.

In comparison the ML (Tae Pyung) is very easy going and down to earth despite growing in a a fairly wealthy family and later being raised by a very wealthy man. Despite the fact that he also sees death every day when he looks a person, including himself, in the eye.

There was no chemistry between the leads. Ok Taecyeon is a really good actor and he portrayed all the right emotions. He was perfect in his role. It's just the romance was a bit bland in this drama and I felt no chemistry between the leads even though individually the actors were really good in their roles. Yun Hee's character grew on me and towards the end, there was some chemistry. Thankfully, there is very little romance in this drama, it is more of a sub plot that was delved into really late. It's sort of a slow burn romance, but the ML seemed to have fallen in love at litteral first sight.

The SML, aka the villain had a really sad back story. I pitted him if anything. He was an overly emotional sociopath who felt very targeted emotions. His entire storyline of why he becomes the villain is why a person should not know how they will die in the future. I understood him to a degree as to why he blamed Tae Pyung for the way he turned out. It's why he gave up on himself as he saw his death as a criminal to be inevitable. He didn't see the point in trying. Something that Tae Pyung himself believed in until the FL showed him that he can change the death he sees. But, by the time the SML finds out that he can change his death, he sees it as too late because he already became what he always feared of becoming.

The one thing I LOVED about this drama was that all the characters believed that the ML can in fact see people's deaths. I love how it doesn't take long for people to believe this and once they do, they'd do just about anything he suggests to prevent people's deaths. I loved how everyone slowly found all the proof of what Tae Pyung said would happen, actually go according to what he said. His foresight was really well used by everyone.

I expected more

This drama was just okay for me.

I think I may have had really high expectations for this drama which is why it was a huge let down. I watched a lot of dramas with a similar concept, girl goes into a romance book (Lost Romance), girl goes into script (Romance of Tiger and Rose), girl is a character in a book (Extraordinary You), girl time travels to the past (Love is better than immortality/ Parallel Love/ Cinderella chef), and more, all of which I loved, but this drama didn't even come close to any of the others.

I liked the FL and ML. The FL didn't annoy me, though her scenes were really cringe when she became her book self. The romance was really, really sweet between the ML and FL. Not the typical boss/employee relationship, though it did take me 2 episodes to realise who the ML was.

The ending, though happy, did not satisfy me one bit. It was too short and could have been better.

Loved this drama but I loved Ou Chen more than anything else in this drama.

I love Taiwanese dramas, every single one I've watched is so unique. I watched the Chinese remake (drama) of this before watching the original version and I couldn't help but compare the two at the begining but after a few episodes I stopped. Overall, this was definitely better. Another rant:

Execution:
At first I didn't really like the execution of the drama, how it starts of in the present (5 years in the future) and flashes back to the past. It doesn't give you the story in chronological order so you're kept guessing what the tragedy was in the past and how it came to be. That is unless you already watched the remake which gives you everything in chronological order. But then I also grew to like this because it makes the story More from Ou Chen's POV, we see the flashbacks more often when he is regaining his memories and trying to figure out what happened between Lin Xia Mo and himself. It also allowed the drama to focus more on Ou Chen and Xia Mo's relationship even when Xia Mo was romantically involved with Luo Xi. Something that I hated about the remake was that I felt that it focused more on Luo Xi rather than Ou Chen making it difficult to figure out who the main character was. I love that we also got to see a lot of Ou Chen's past as a child and his childhood with Xia Mo, it really made you see the depth of his character, especially when you find out about his parents.

Music:
The sound quality of the drama wasn't good, couldn't find any better but the music was very dramatic and sometimes over the top. It went really well with the drama and I liked Xia Mo's singing, have no idea if it was the actress.

Acting/Script:
I loved the actors in this drama, I think all of them did a really good job of portraying their characters emotions:

Barbie Hsu:
Though her character seems cold, she really wasn't. She showed her emotions at all the right times. You could really see the hate in her eyes the night Xia Mo's parents died, the sadness of her loss as well as the constant pain of seeing her brother in bad health. She did a really good job of playing a cold character that rarely expressly showed her love for either Luo Xi or Ou Chen, but it was her actions that showed her love. I really liked this about the script, her character was the definition of "actions speak louder then words".

Peter Ho:
Peter Ho's character was the most emotionally driven as well as cold character in the entire drama. He was a mixture of Luo Xi, an emotionally driven but unreasonable (childlike) charecter, and Xia Mo, a reasonable almost 'cold' person in every aspect of her life. He also had the most depth. Peter Ho did an amazing job portraying all the layers of his character and his emotions, I cried at how lonely Ou Chen was, it was hard not to sympathise with his character and I was rooting for him from begining to end. He was the one charecter that needed a happy ending more than anyone.

Hang Xiao Ming:
Luo Xia Ming was a very arrogant and childish character. My first impression, when I saw Luo Xi was that Huang Xiao Ming could play a good villain, it was his smile. I didn't really like his character, but he played it well, but I never sympathised with his character.

Ou Chen v Luo Xi:
I also read a lot of reviews and comments about how Ou Chen was really toxic and how Xia Mo should have ended up with Luo Xi and I couldn't disagree more.
I felt like Luo Xi was a lot more toxic than Ou Chen ever was. It's the subtle action and reactions that show it:
- Ou Chen was always possessive, but not toxicly so. He was all bark and no bite and Xia Mo was always able to cool him off and he always listened to her no matter what, even when he doesn't say or show so. He got jealous easily, yes, in the past it was sometimes unreasonably so, but he never stopped her from doing anything or meeting anyone because of this, something Luo Xi clearly didn't do. When they get back together he trusted her no matter what and trusted their relationship no matter what anyone said because he knew Xia Mo would never cheat on the person she is with and that she keeps her word. When Luo Xi and Xia Mo were together, Luo Xi will physically hold her back from talking to Ou Chen and be unreasonable about any contact Xia Mo and Ou Chen have despite the fact that Ou Chen is Xia Mo's boss and they have to meet and talk, Luo Xi never trusted Xia Mo.
- Ou Chen was also very respectful of Xia Mo. Even though Ou Chen and Xia Mo were romantically involved for a long time and known each other for years, he was always gentle with her and kissed her on the forehead. In comparison, Luo Xi first kissed Xia Mo without her consent and when she was drunk, knowing that she was with Ou Chen. Their second kiss was also forced by Lou Xi.
- Ou Chen always supported her even when they weren't romantically together and even when he was meant to hate her, but he never took credit for it. Ou Chen may have lost his memories, but he was always there for Xia Mo, and ONLY because of his memory loss he couldn't be with her before. But Luo Xi left Xia Mo and willingly and never looked back in those 5 years. He didn't bother to hear any news about her whilst the last thing Ou Chen did when he had his memories was try and be there for Xia Mo after she lost her parents in an accident.

Xia Mo, Ou Chen and Luo X:
Xia Mo, Ou Chen and Luo Xi are technically orphans, they share this one similarity. They were all abandoned by their mothers. Xia Mo and Luo Xi are very alike, they are both in show biz and both good at acting due to their past as a orphans, having to pretend to be someone they're not in order to be loved. All three hide their emotions really well but Ou Chen was definitely the most emotional but also the coldest same with Xia Mo, but they would both do anything, sacrifice everything, for the ones they love, which is why they were so perfect for together.
I found Luo Xi for the majority of this drama to be annoyingly arrogant and arrogant for all the wrong things. Later, he seemed immature and arrogant, a terrible combination. Though Xia Mo is cold, she is the kind of person that will take care of you when you're sick, be there for you when you're at your lowest and stand up for you. And she has done this. But Luo Xi is the complete opposite, he became arrogant and immature, thinking the world revolved around him when Xia Mo was suffering. Only in tough times can you tell who is best for you and Ou Chen was that person for Xia Mo and vice-versa.

Xia Mo:
I liked Xia Mo a lot more in this version (original version) than I did in the remake. She was a lot more rational and reasonable but also more emotional. I didn't like how she broke up with Ou Chen but I could justify her behaviour. She didn't mean anything she said to Ou Chen on that day, it was all said in anger and sadness from the loss of her family. She directed all her emotions to Ou Chen as hate but didn't mean them, words that Ou Chen took to heart in a scene that made me cry. It showed how much Ou Chen truly loved her, but if he was thinking rationally he would have realised that she didn't mean those words, she had just lost her family that day and had no one else to take it out on. It also made me understand Xia Mo more, she cares about people she considers family a lot, she doesn't care if anyone harms her, but she won't allow it on her family because they are all she has and she would die along with them if it meant living without them. She deals with loss through directing her emotions at someone else and if it has to do with her family, she'll do it through anger.
I smacked my head because of this girl so many times for the shit she unintentionally put Ou Chen through. I can't hate her because she's never bad to Ou Chen other then that one time, and I don't want to hate her. But I kinda do hate her because I just wanted her to be by his side, say yes to him and be honest to both herself and Ou Chen for the feelings she clearly had for him in the past and started to have in the present. I HATED how she lied to herself and Ou Chen about having never loved him when she clearly did.

SPOILERS:
I LOVED the twist towrds the end. It in some way justified Ou Chen's sacrifice for Xia Mo's brother and it also made it make sense why Ou Chen was the only person who could sacrifice this for Xia Mo's brother. Ou Chen and Yin Cheng being brothers was the best plot twist that could have happened and I felt that it was a fact that would make Xia Mo love Ou Chen even more because her brother meant everthing to her and Ou Chen is another connection to him. I think Ou Chen also figured out that he and Yin Cheng share a father, I don't know when, but I was just happy that by the end of the drama he got a family. A family and reciprocated love, which was all he wanted and he got it, a family was also everything that meant anything to Xia Mo so Xia Mo and Ou Chen being married and having a family was the best ending for the both of them. Luo Xi didn't need anyone, ever, so he too got his best ending.

Cute, short and healthy youth romance

This is a really short romance with multiple couples. There was nothing wrong with the plot, other than the fact that I think they dragged the twin storyline about the FL taking her twins place. It made no sense for her to do this, couldn't she have just said that her sister was in a coma, I don't think it would have effected her grades.

I don't think I was in the mood for this drama. I don't like it when a drama starts off with the FL deceiving the ML, like Unexpected Love. But the FL's cuteness and overall personality sort of made up for it. I LOVED the main couple. I also felt bad for the second lead, but he was so late, he had no chance in hell. I hated how he still perused the FL despite knowing she's in a serious relationship, it got annoying.

I skipped a lot of the second lead couple scenes. I liked their characters, the FL and ML's best friends. But their storyline seemed like EVERY other second lead couple story line: the ML's rich, plaboy best friend falling for the FL's gorgeous, cool and nice best friend. Both of whom also happen to be very supporting of the main couple and help them get together. Their overall romance was so cliche.

I liked the FL's twins romance with her boyfriend l. I also loved the friendship between the FL, her twin, and her twins boyfriend.

The main lead couple were really cute and far less cliche than the second lead couple. In the first episode they pretended to be dating, and by the third they already like each other, at least the ML does. Which was really unexpected because I thought he'd play a cold character, but he was chasing the FL almost since the beginning and it was hilarious and adorable. They had such a cute, innocent and healthy relationship. They both really supported each other and trusted each other so much despite the deception. It was also really nice to see the ML having a SUPPORTING family shipping and pushing his relationship with the FL. I loved his family. We don't see or know of any of the FL's family other than her twin sister. The actress played both roles really well and had good chemistry with the ML.

Sweet, Innocent Romance

This drama was somewhat different from all the other contract marriage dramas I've watched. It is also the first drama I've watched where the main couple are in a stable and healthy relationship throughout as opposed to all the side couples that seem to have a lot more drama. It had very unique comedy, especially at the start, but after the first several episodes, all I felt was second hand embarrassment.

I remember wanting to watch this drama when it came out because I loved the cover picture. I'm glad I decided to watch it now. "Perfect and Casual" despite how odd and perhaps cringe the title sounds, it is the perfect title for this drama. Zhang was the "perfect" professor/mathematician (who definitely had really bad OCD) and Yun Shu was the "casual" student who happened to be in one of Zhang's classes. They also dressed the parts really well throughout. Zhang is almost always in a suit and Yun Shu dressed like a university student that couldn't be bothered to dress up.

Despite the fact that we only see him teaching her at university twice, even after they were married and even became a real couple, not once did it not feel like a student/teacher relationship. It made me uncomfortable how she always referred to him as "teacher/mr". But I loved how innocent their romance was. They were both each others first and they were both really awkward (in different ways) when it came to romance, but they somehow pulled it off and made their relationship work.

I loved Miles and Xu Ruo Han in their roles. Miles was perfectly casted as Zhang, everything about him made him look like the perfect, awkward and nerdy professor. Xu Ruo Han was great playing the part of Yun Shu. Her smile and aura made her character seem very genuine, despite her characters stupidity from time to time, not once did I find Yun Shu annoying because the actress played her in such a way that I couldn't dislike her at all.

I loved all the side characters and how close everyone was in this drama. I especially loved the grandpa who was the catalyst to the beginning of all the relationships, at least Yun Shu and Zhang's relationship, and somewhat the start to Yun Lan and Lu Yu's relationship.
