Exactly correct, and yet so many enjoyed watching her behaviour towards both PWX and SRQ, I was really bemused and scratching my heard over this. I really wanted to love and enjoy this drama but it left me sad for PWX character and I could not continue 😢

Even with his 8 or originally 9 tails Jing was still very weak in every sense.

I dont know about Jing’s character being any better in the novel but it was such a poor portrayal of Jing here by Deng Wei and yet ge had been great in other dramas. Is it the actor, the director or just Jing 🤷🏻‍♀️🤔

I recommend Nirvana In Fire and Blood Of Youth, while you are waiting both excellent productions but very different. I will probably rewatch Blood Of Youth, as an alternative to LYF2 waiting time.

Its really interesting to read everyones take on FFYY, I myself for the first time in every episode watched felt some sadness and empathy for her character, so well played and executed scenes. All she did in my perspective is for her love of Hou and boy did he betray her. Her actions were immoral in securing his so called love so therefore a very tragic character indeed.

Sad really, although TSJ and XY are pretty happy with themselves for this brief moment in time

I find SRQ character and styling so whimpy and unattractive to look at, I ff all his scenes 🫣

Absolutely agree, I do not feel any romantic association between FL and ML and her association with SRQ is quite unhealthy especially as she now knows the truth of who exactly killed her. I have read everyone’s comments and explanations on this 3 way triangle and it just doesn’t sit right.
