Plot holes? or just rushed? What happened to secretary kim? Was just a dream at the end? or did he die? Yoon joo…
You have to remember the two uber-powerful WOMEN who helped these two along the way - Joo Young of course, and Bank Guy's MOM. SHE was the one who ultimately pulled the plug on Chairman Kang. So yeah, both of them could easily leave the loan-sharking business behind them.
just not very excited for another cliche tw rom/com. tbh i didnt expect anythign spectacular when i started it.…
Jiro is wonderful - he's gorgeous, quirky, not at ALL afraid to be ridiculous or mock himself. This drama (ToGetHer) is so adorable - & has George Hu as well - so no downside! ALL plots can be seen as 'cliche' btw - all are variations on a few themes. It's those variations that make or break any creative fiction.
As for Absolute Boyfriend - OMG Jiro Wang was the BEST thing in that! The ending is awful but it's straight from the manga so I expected it. HE played that android perfectly!!!! Your inability to see his acting skills, well honey, makes me wonder if it has more to do w/the breakup of Fahrenheit - I'll take a gamble & say you are an Aaron Yan fan....
I'm so angry. The last two episodes completely ruined the drama :(.
Not. I can name many others much much much worse. Much worse. Just recently, for instance, Shine or Go Crazy (OMG). Gu Family Book. Queen of Fire. All time worst ending - Love to Kill. This was NOT anywhere near the fails those are. Not even a fail, in fact. Just not up to the standard of the rest of the drama, that's all.
This was...I am so....i cant even....what was the writer thinking, the message in this drama is disgusting, no…
Well, the snake did admit his wrong doing in public. And you are not thinking too much about the welfare of that poor little boy - SHE is raising the kid now, BTW - he's only got visitations. Yep, he should be under psychiatric care - which he could well be getting - the drama doesn't specifically say one way or another but I bet it's a given for attempted suicides, just as it is here. Plus he'd truly done an outstanding job w/the boy. But it's not a reward for him that he gets to keep seeing the child - it is for Ra Il's sake, period.
My problem w/the ending is the lack of closure w/the abusive stepdad, and the tepid way this passionate love affair concluded! OMG, going away for the normal year of exile (celebrities & scandals, oh my) sure, but no communication? & when they saw each other again, no just running into each other's arms? ~sigh~ Typical but annoying. Still, happy ending so okay.
I did not hate the ending so much - but as someone on another thread said, I would much rather have had some basic confrontations w/abusive step-dad & the Snake on Wheels (fake kidnapping dad). Although he did end up doing the right thing & encouraging Ra Il to care for his real dad. But that noble idiocy thing - OMG can we STOP it already? Plus I certainly could have done w/o the obligatory 1 year parting (w/no communication? WTF!!! but it's so standard on KDramas)
I'm not huge into revenge, and they showed the fake dad admitting everything, then Eun Ha being vindicated & back w/Eun Dong so that's fine. But yeah, the ending could have had a hug & kiss - for REAL!!!
I actually own a ball-jointed doll that was sculpted (by this uber-hot cosplayer BTW) to BE the graverobber Kirin from this novel series.... So I of course HAVE to watch it LOL
This is one weird drama ._. started watchng it and was comletely confused. Like wtf?
Donnie Yen did a film very similar not too long ago (Iceman) - I rather like this kind of over the top cheese/action stuff (I'm very fond of Jackie Chan, for instance) & this is living up to all my expectations so far (including Jiro looking HOT HOT HOT)
I unfortunately seem to have the same attitude towards Jung Kyung Ho as I do towards Jang Geun Suk - I get they…
Yep - pretty much :D & totally foreseen by me from about when that hit & run occurred, ruining the suspense & just making me uncomfortable w/that storyline. Much prefer the interaction between the main couple :( w/o the rest.
I unfortunately seem to have the same attitude towards Jung Kyung Ho as I do towards Jang Geun Suk - I get they are really good actors, & ok looking - but I totally, completely fail to see the dreaminess AT ALL. Plus, in this drama, we have one of my fav actors - who does a wonderful job, 2nd lead/villain or not - and I can't help but wish that it were Yoon Hyun Min as the lead here. Also I don't really like what's happening around the middle of the drama. The love line between the leads is funny & sweet, really well done - but my boy YHM is being villified which I'm NOT happy about. Plus I KNOW what corporate raiders are like - this guy Kang Min Ho has done horrible awful things to other companies. He's got a worse track record than Lee Jun Hi. So trying to pull a good guy/bad guy comparison - nope, not flying w/me. Our lead lady & her fiance both seem to have had good judgement (he was a really good detective it seems - & SHE is a top-notch executive secretary which means a smart sharp lady) so I can't see them being close friends for years w/2nd lead & not see his true character. Is he supposed to be a sociopath? That might explain it but they haven't done a very good job showing that. I don't know, it's certainly not awful or not worth watching, but for me I no longer have any interest in it. I see where it's heading, don't like it & wish they just concentrated completely on the loveline/redemption of Min Ho. :(
