It was a great remake with several changes. I enjoyed it, but the end was too sweet and happy. I prefer the japanese…
You know, you've totally confirmed what I suspected about the original LOL Japanese apparently just HATE happy people, resolved conflicts or definite answers. I'm sorry, I get enough of that crap in my everyday life - I sure don't need it in my dramas. I guess that's why I don't watch as many JDramas.
There are only TWO of those rich guys I want to destroy. In Ho is just weak-minded, & if the detective hadn't…
Yes he does! He really plays these psycho villains so well, tho LOL BTW Joon Ho has stopped :D He's the most tortured & decent, & I'm very worried the writers might kill him off :(
Actually there are only TWO truly murderous chaebols, in case you haven't paid attention. Joon Ho is NOT a murderer…
Honey, scoff all you want, he DIDN'T rape that girl! Hak Bum raped her. Are you seriously saying that somehow Joon Ho is as bad as either Hak Bum or Tae Suk????? or even In Ho? Be real here.
There are only TWO of those rich guys I want to destroy. In Ho is just weak-minded, & if the detective hadn't…
I do believe Joon Ho has suffered quite enough already. As I said I don't feel sorry for In Ho - he does deserve sentencing. HOWEVER, I want the other two slowly crushed by a steam roller, feet first..... BTW, Joon Ho did not rape anyone - he was totally out of his mind high. In Ho & Oh Tae Suk didn't rape the girl either - they just got the other two off (specifically, got Hak Bum off). Hak Bum is a total piece of wasted oxygen, & Tae Suk a moral black hole - to even compare In Ho to them is to make In Ho look a saint, let alone Joon Ho who isn't even WEAK at this point - he's been trying to turn himself in remember, & almost got killed. There ARE shades of grey in this world.

Not being rude at all. If you are saying they all 4 share responsibility for the child's death, that's true, but Joon Ho & In Ho neither one are nasty creeps like the other two. Remember in that case all 4 were juveniles. The rape case, Joon Ho was high & not the one responsible - it was that crazy jerk, who got In Ho & that cold creep of a sociopath to get them out of it. Plus those two pushed Joon Ho into framing In Ho with them, then tried to KILL Joon Ho, plus did kill the car salesman. They really are murderous, dangerous psychos, while In Ho is just weak. But I don't pity him - he could have done what Joon Ho told him, and avoided major problems.
I don't like the current twists..The female protagonist is no longer someone we can root for. She is a murderer,…
Actually there are only TWO truly murderous chaebols, in case you haven't paid attention. Joon Ho is NOT a murderer - and he's been trying to do the right thing for most of the show, to his detriment. In Ho is just weak. He did drive that car so hit that girl (reckless driving, an accident) but it wasn't HIM that decided to throw the child into the water alive. Oh, no, that was our cold sociopath. Then we have that insane clown jerkwad, who is a violent psychopath - he just needs to be run over by a steam roller. Those two OMG
what will happen with the four rich guys? will they get away with their crimes this time as well, or are they…
There are only TWO of those rich guys I want to destroy. In Ho is just weak-minded, & if the detective hadn't put out that false story, In Ho would have confessed, Joon Hee would have given the right USP drive to the cops & that would have nailed those two insane pieces of work who actually WERE responsible for everything. Just saying. Of course our detective didn't know that.
I thing the comments right above yours (by Plushie & Kate) are addressing both of your shallow comments. You have…
Well no one would know that from your comment, dear. In what WAY is the male lead truly abusive? At ALL? If of course you are referring to Doo Joon's character. I'll give you that the PD character goes overboard sometimes, but it's to jar her out of herself. The lead guy is a troubled young man dealing with toxic parents (that stepmom in particular) who in fact is an ABUSED young man rather than abusive. He's been standoffish, rude, and demanding (as top stars can be), but he's not being nasty to her as a BF, he's supported her writing, he's being understanding of her. I fail completely to see any justification for calling him 'abusive'. The onus for making an indepth comment to start a conversation actually is on you, since you are the one who made the shallow, unsubstantiated one in the first place.
After watching 12 episodes The only thing I have to say is ... If you're watching it hoping that it will get better…
Give some examples of bad writing in this drama. I've been thinking about the opposite of you. For me the drama has steadily grown on me, the writing is thoughtful and examines the cliches it seems on the surface to be following, the characters almost all have a growth curve and I'm now very invested in seeing the conclusion. This is not a flashy, exciting, sexy drama, I'll give you that. But that hardly justifies calling the writing bad LOL
i'm not digging the romance AT ALL - male lead is waaaaay too obsessive and abusive and they want girls to fall…
I thing the comments right above yours (by Plushie & Kate) are addressing both of your shallow comments. You have not actually paid any attention at all to what is happening in this drama. You've come to some immediate conclusions based on a skimming of the first few episodes and haven't let the actual drama get in the way of your first erroneous impressions. I suggest you go back and watch this drama without skimming it if you want to understand what it is about and what the characters are like, because you obviously have no idea at all right now.
That would be nice - also, sadly, a huge departure from the source material. Still, who knows? Already the characters are no where near as terrible as the originals were.
The general dance between love and no love is getting old but it's very valid. Realistically, no daddy's girl…
I actually HAVE been in that position. Now, I agree with your idea about realism - it certainly is something that should be discussed between the two and it could very well lead to them NOT staying together. I find the QUICKNESS ridiculous, and the way she pretends to hate him! I agree that the last episode showing him in stalker mode was rather unnerving LOL
i've seen you everywhere in the comments section, so lemme just say this to you; people have different opinions.…
Take your own advice. You consistently annoy ME. You also fail miserably to even attempt to understand what I'm saying - I doubt you even read much of it. You've decided what you think I am & just post from that without any kind of real understanding. LOL

Honey, I told someone who didn't understand what was going on to go read the book. That seems a logical thing to do. Let me introduce you to the concept of word definitions. 'Literate' meaning to be conversant w/the written language and 'ignorant' to not know something. Ergo, those who read the description of this drama would know what influenced it, those unfamiliar with the source material would be ignorant of said material. The person confused by the plot would 'lack knowledge' of said plot - and instead of me spending time explaining the source material plot, I felt sending the poster to the SOURCE might be more pertinent.
from what I've seen so far in the comments, most of us are desperate for him, but the plot seems so forced and…
Thanks for explaining what you meant. Since it is influenced by Cruel Intentions, that may very well be what you are seeing. I didn't think it felt clumsy but again, as you said, different opinions.
