I just wonder sometimes if the majority of posters for most of these dramas are those who hated them or got annoyed at them, & most of us who LIKE the dramas in question don't bother commenting. Cause it is beyond irritating that myriad dramas, all different genres & even quality, get the SAME comments over & over! Bad acting (when what the poster really means is usually 'I didn't like the character' or else 'I hate that actor so refuse to like anything they do'), 'boring' without explaining WHY (so often it's due to fast-forwarding, missing the plot points in the process, then not understanding what's going on LOL), or being upset that the drama is the genre it's meant to be (people complaining that a romcom has a romance, for instance - definitely have seen this)
Man to Man was just sooooo funny - excellent acting on display, some great action scenes, some sweet romantic moments, and just a great composite cast chemistry. Park Sung Woong NAILED his character entirely :D I totally recommend this drama for anyone who likes action/spy type stuff & enjoys comedic parodies of said genre!
I find it unbelievable that this is from the writer of Misaeng/Arang. I would expect this lazy, cringey script…
I've found nothing particularly unbelievable so far (other than the fantasy stuff which is adequately explained - except for the part about losing his powers)
boooring.
NJH is terrible at acting and his character isn't cool or funny just punchable
You cannot judge the WHOLE DRAMA on 2 episodes - either good or bad. You can tell if YOU don't like it - so since you don't I expect you will sail out of here (unless the hating is more important of course)
I just want to say that this drama is not worth wasting time. the actors are wrongly picked and dont even match…
No - what Mimi says is always true - 2 episodes is too early to judge the quality of any drama in toto. One can determine if the drama in question is right for one's OWN tastes, but that's about it.
OMG here we go again. WHY do so many people think that a historical drama has nothing to do with real history? A GOOD historical adds stuff that isn't absolutely refuted by historical facts, and sometimes (often the more fanciful ones) they reinterpret the known facts cleverly (Man in the Iron Mask). But only the bad ones CHANGE history. So DEAR, as a professor of literature, I totally call you out on not understanding a thing about what makes good historical dramas.
This drama is definitely being promoted as telling the tragic tale of this girl & the prince/king who loses her. So that WILL be how it ends - TRAGICALLY.

Merong, wonder what you hate so much - the actors or the fact that it's not following the manhwa? Either way, your sentiments are meaningless to most of those watching this drama.
I've loved the first two episodes. The two protagonists have undeniably great chemistry and they are acting…
Actually there was NOT. There are tons of people hating on one or other of the actors for reasons that have nothing to do with this drama or their actual ability to convey characters on screen. Then there are the other ton that are furious that this is not an adaptation of the manga. Throw in that bunch that hate romcoms in general & especially fantasy ones, and all the haters are pretty much accounted for & discounted. If you like fantasy romcoms this one is doing a spot-on job so far :D
So far (2 episodes) this is just as advertised. Silly, fanciful, funny, with prettiness :D I love this kind of drama - the fantasy scenes being just over the top gorgeous, & the romcom silliness making me laugh, with some kind of interesting subplot going on that interests me. Our two leads are doing a fine job - why people think they can't act mystifies me. As for this not being the manhwa, well they were pretty up-front about that from the beginning. If that's what you want just don't watch this.
This is worth watching simply for the interaction of Korean actors & Hollywood actors. Plus Steven Yeun :d and Hogu LOL Jake Gyllenhaal LOL LOL LOL Tilda Swindon, superb as usual. That little girl is an excellent little actress - I've seen her in a ton of things :D
I know I shouldn't, especially since he's fated to die and he was a terrible person irl and kind of…
The king Lee Dong Gun is portraying is hands down the WORST King in Korean history, & his successor did much better. Very few of these rulers were that fantastic, of course :(
