GUYS its all cleared up yoo chun paid the prostitute for sex(still a crime) but he didnt rape her(she had ties…
Actually he didn't even do THAT. Really. The girls are being prosecuted (& that one girl's BF as well) - they all worked at the same club & the police/prosecutors investigated the CLUB for mob connections, extortion, etc.
i struggled and couldn't continue with the vomit scene where he is cleaning it up and flicking it off her.…
Yet I managed to finish the whole thing cause of those dimples. A drama has to be utterly horrid for me not to finish it when one of my top fav guys is in it. I even finished My Lovely Girl cause Rain & L (if Krystal hadn't had a bit of chemistry w/L I might not have finished it, tho)
I call 'hater' since the CRITICISM makes no sense. Especially after 1 or 2 episodes. NOT a boring show. Silly, cheesy, slapstick, maybe some hate the actress - but I think the meaning of the word 'boring' truly needs exploring for those who think this show fits that description.
I'm Joo Won's fan but, not sure if I should watch this one. Is it worth it..?
I said something positive, in fact. I totally don't agree with YOUR assessment (except of Joo Won's dimples) but that's how you see it, fine. But I was mainly addressing your comment about Joseon court politics. I myself don't want to see much of it (cause depressing) but it's actually reflective of reality at that time.
for the love of god DON`T rate a drama low when it hasn't been aired for two weeks! whats wrong with you…
Why bother checking a few commenters? Don't you trust your own judgement? Good grief! Plus, when I want to see an actor I will watch the show, and don't CARE what others think nor who the female lead is, quite frankly. A drama has to be really horrendous for me to drop it when someone like Joo Won or a few others of my bias boys are in it!

Good grief. Yes, it's got slapstick, but other than that (& lots of cheese) it's just fine. BTW those 'generic court politics' are in all the dramas the same reason courtroom dramas feature lawyers arguing with prosecutors in front of judges. Let that sink in for a nano second....
Going to keep on watching it, but not a big fan yet. The vomiting and comedy so far is really not my favorite,…
It's got lots of slapstick so far, but still I find it fun :D BTS - this comment shows some valid criticisms with references - vs the comments from some others here.
So any time one of these IDIOTS decides to do that, just give said drama a 10 which then cancels out their undeserved low rating.
That's why such ratings mean NOTHING here....
I need an answer: How tolerable is the inaccuracy degree of this? In other words, how believable is that it is…
You know, since I personally loved Hwarang & could care less about the historical accuracy of a FANTASY period drama, your comment doesn't compute. I mean I do like serious sageuks to be accurate, but I like the lighter ones not to be. You know, like Shakespeare in Love or A Knight's Tale (or Arang & the Magistrate, Sungjakwon Scandal, or Rooftop Prince...)
Loving this so far (cause we are OUT of the palace for most of it LOL) It always makes me laugh when these sageuks…
Here's the point about writing fiction - unless it's outright fantasy, an author DOES need to pay attention to reality in order to help the reader's suspension of disbelief. Dismissing all fiction as if it never has any connection to reality is rather, well, ignorant. Now, with the specific point I mentioned, it's a stock sageuk deviation from reality that all of us are familiar with (ie, somehow ignoring the fact the King could have multiple wives) but the more a drama tries to incorporate the REALITY into the DRAMA, the more invested the viewer can get. Those sageuks that don't deny the reality but show that our hero/prince only wants the one girl, for instance (thinking Shine or Go Crazy although the ending really should have followed the BOOK...) have more punch (because we can think, oh maybe the real king felt like that) whereas with shows such as this, there's no connection with real history at all so it loses some verisimilitude.
That being said, yes I DO enjoy these historical fantasies a lot, especially when they don't try to pretend it's real history. Real history = dramas like 6 Flying Dragons, for instance (serious attempt to analyze how that family & that young man became the rulers of Joseon).

It always makes me laugh when these sageuks have the Crown Prince/soon to be king 'torn between 2 women' LOL LOL LOL cause guess what? These Goryeo/Joseon monarchs had numerous wives LOL There'd be a coronated Queen, of course, but then there'd be other queens, plus official/royal concubines. Just look up any of them to see how many consorts they'd have (at the same time....)
In other words our masked Prince could have both girls once he gets his throne back :D

Why pick just one?
