Ren Jia Lun is so fine in this show. So pretty and handsome, without and with the mask respectively. I can't wait for today's episodes to see Jiang Ci with her hair down as per the preview. She looked extra pretty.
And I'm so happy to see Gao Han in a good role lol. His characters lately have been psychos for love or sad love rival.
I think FL would have to leave the company. ML should as well, he doesn't owe his father anything. Her ex won't…
I don't think she should leave. She has worked so hard to get to this position and she is very passionate about her work. Plus she has a new project that is her brain child in the works at this company. Leaving would mean giving up all of that.
I agree with everything you said. Some people really still fail to grasps that SR and her ex were simply not meant…
Exactly. And that is not the ex's fault either. I really like the conclusion and how he came to the realisation by himself because I know he will be a better partner to someone else from all he has learnt. He is a good person that tried his best and is willing to take a step back when needed, so I hope he finds another good person to do life with.
Thank you for writing this! Agree to every word. This has been irking me a bit as well. I get that people want…
People react so strongly extremely quickly when characters do not have the most polished reaction or do the seemingly perfect thing and it's very frustrating. We need to be able to step into the shoes of the characters to better understand and appreciate what we watch. And we need to pay more attention to dialogues, monologues, body language. They communicate a whole lot.
Every human on this earth has flaw and will never be perfect. Why do we expect that characters will lose all their flaws at the end of a show, especially if it is a show that is slice of life like?
About SH, I actually don't blame him at all for not picking up. He was trying to save himself by creating distance between him and SR. What is unfortunate is that the timing was terrible. But it is not his fault. SR can rant and lash out because she was in a dark place and needed him, but that is a privilege only reserved for her character. Why do we also keep forgetting that his relationship with his parents and his childhood have played huge parts in how he is today and how he reacts to emotional attachments?
Also, why do people say the ex is the one that deserves SR after finding out he is a good person? Are we tallying faults to reward the winner with the right to a relationship with the lead? You can be an awesome person, but if the other person is not a good enough fit in affection and everything, then you are not entitled to a relationship with that person because the two of you don't agree in your outlook on the relationship. SR loved him and went through a lot of good and bad things with him, but she has decided to let him go for her own reasons and I absolutely love this because they did not make him a cheater.
The Ex deserves better. Way better. People have a tendency to shit on good people, I've never felt bad for an…
In the show, it was only when the characters did not have the full story that they called him a jerk and everything. SR never did and she has defended him since things came to light. He is a good person, but saying he deserves way better makes it seem like SR is/was a problem.
After watching the episode, I actually have no idea how people expected her parents and SH to all react like Moeum. Other than the fact that they are all different people with different personalities, their positions in this situation are different. Moeum is not her parent. As much as Moeum loves her, she did not give birth to SR or raise her. So she bears little to no responsibility for her well-being. SR's parents have that responsibility and sacrificed everything to be able to do it well. They have to feel absolutely heartbroken that their baby went through so much so far away from them and they were unable to be there for her. That for whatever reason, she thought it would be better to go through it alone than lean on them. This is added to the fact that they already feel inferior as parents because of how little materially, they were able to provide for their kids. Did we forget how her mother first reacted after hearing the news? The immediate hug and comfort and weeping? As for SH, his affection for SR is like the combination of familial and romantic love. He was raised with SR and then he has been in love with her forever.
My mom and I fight like crazy, but do you know how she feels when I do not tell her about some important things in my life like school or work? Then think about something this big.
And then for her parents and SH, guilt was eating them alive. SR needed to be comforted and everything, but she absolutely broke their hearts and they also needed to communicate that.
Bok Gyu Hyun is smart, but is also a rich idiot lol. He was trying to appear like a bum but went to the police station with his secretary that was driving his very expensive car. Now from the preview, he booked her a VIP room LOL. I can't with him. He is actually like his dad.
