Ep 11 should have brought the romcom of this show in full force, with a little bit of angst, but they somehow ruined that. I remember how one of the things I was really anticipating was their families finding out and how comedic it'd be, but they decided to involve the press in what wasn't the business of the public. They could have made DH more confident without needing to go that route.

I've never seen a ROMcom fail to deliver the romance this badly before. They never had even ONE peaceful date as a proper couple. It makes me wonder what the point of the show was.

Anyway, they did well in the comedy aspect. I have to give them that. Even though I was/am annoyed, I still laughed.

I wish the actors well on their future projects. MSM already has another romcom coming up soon. I hope JJS does more romance projects and I hope KDW gets more meaningful roles (been rooting for him since startup). Also our fabulous supporting characters of course.

If HI is actually suffering the effects of poisoning, then it's likely because Seul Hee did not like the attachment…
She likely knows. The way they were when she met them at the entrance to the house in today's episode. The way they both looked after HI left. Plus that matchmaker woman kinda knows. She might know something is up though, but not how deep it is.

Are you sure it was k-drama? In China there is one month cool down period before divorce can go trough.
I know there is a Chinese show I watched with that. But I think it was also there in a kdrama. Can't be sure though. That's why I was asking.

If HI is actually suffering the effects of poisoning, then it's likely because Seul Hee did not like the attachment her son has to her. How he's fixated on her, and how that could be a problem.

The Hong family might find out about HI next week. The preview showed her having an episode while in Yongduri and if HW is away fighting in Seoul, they'd likely find her in a terrible state. I think it'd be a good thing anyway because her and her mother have a lot to work through.

I think the same thing, legal matters takes time. They are not officially submitted paper in the court. Especially,…
Yeah. I hope that is the case.

Even if they lost control of the company, they would still own shares, their house, and other assets and would…
They signed off their shares, at least a good portion to ES. They are also under investigation by the prosecution I believe, plus the press, so it was best for them to leave. Since they are under investigation, it is possible that most of their accounts are frozen, depending on what they are being investigated for.
They are not destitute though. They just don't control the company anymore.

About this divorce, doesn't the court usually give a month deliberation time for the couple before finalising it? I've seen that in a couple of kdramas. HW and HI never submitted a divorce intent to the court, so after meeting with their lawyers, won't this be the first time? Then they have a month to go back and push through with it or withdraw it right?

I think ES was dropped on his head as a baby because how does he in his right mind, think that HI would come to him after the cruel way he treated her family?

not if she legally changed her identity. maybe they never properly looked into her background, just like soo cheol's…
If she is legally registered as Seul Hee in the system, then I do not think that would be a legal issue. If they go this route, they'd have to sue her and it'd probably take months to get a verdict. Time wasted on the least important problem. The main issue with the family is that they have lost controlling power of the company. That has to do with all the shares ES and team accumulated. And that should be where they start from.

I'm of the opinion that they should just hand over management rights of Queen's group to HW when they get it back. He's the smartest and most capable of them all in this show. He did not even need the BS detector Aunt Beomja has to know that when someone from nowhere is handing you out freebies for no good reason, someone you just met or that you lost contact with for a while, then something is up.

I do not blame grandpa too much. That woman took her time and worked on him for 30 years. Have to applaud her patience and dedication though. It would have been hard to beat that dedication. This is why you should be careful of who you let into your home and share your body and bed with. Your guard weakens against them. Plus the poison. They showed that it had already started taking effect a while ago and it was truly messing with his body. Man made more rash and stupid decisions in recent times.

HI's dad has just enough knowledge to take care of his pet snail. He's not a good fit either.

As for SC, I blame his mother. She over sheltered him and fed him too many lies about himself. The guy truly believes he has brains for days. His mother always ran to others to clean up his messes and never made him think that anything was his fault and that he had to take responsibility. So he never properly learnt and he's way too naive.

HI is smart, but she's too arrogant. One thing that helped her is that she's cold natured to everyone, so she already had her guard up against everyone. ES just properly played on the right chord with her. Her dream and goal of joining the trillion won club with Hercyna. So she bore with him even when she was uncomfortable. But she overestimated her ability to see BS and not be cheated.

They've been reflecting. It's also obvious that we don't know the full story on the press conference, so we can't make conclusions yet.

If this theory is right, it would explain why grandpa does not want the legitimate siblings to inherit the company.…
Yeah. We can only wait for the next episode. I hope they conclude in a good and believable way.

I have one more thing to say. When we say an actor or actress is wasting their talent when they decide to act in a different, usually lighter genre, that speaks of entitlement. Jean Jong Seo has been acting in thrillers and other such shows as a tough or mysterious or hard character for a while and has more than delivered. Acting in light and fluffy romance does not belittle her or take away from her previous work. Anne Hathaway said that she did not like being restricted by the opinion of the public on what kinds of roles she could take just because she won an Oscar, and that is one of the reasons she starred in her recent movie. Just as we praise actors usually in romcoms for branching out to do thrillers and action and the like, we should support them when it is the opposite way.
She is also gaining valuable experience in trying romcoms and she will get better at it the more she does it.

I hope that is not true in the next episode. I hope it'll be the other option because JH does not deserve that.

even if it turns out they have 'a happily ever after' she'll still be that trashy chic who seduced the two bros.…
That is the issue now. If DH had spoken up to clear the misunderstanding earlier, it'd not be a problem. He only had to say he actually was not getting married and that she is his best friend. Neither his half sister nor the reporter have material proof that DH and AJ were actually getting married.

You are saying "Is it ok for parents to abandon their children once they are 18??", Is DH parent of JH or what??…
You are the one that called him my favourite, not me. I defend him because he is the most misunderstood and in just one aspect that irks me. That does not mean he is my favourite. None of the 3 leads is my favourite in this show.
And when you love someone, you do not abandon them. Your love then becomes lip service. You act like sacrifice and compromise in relationships is bad. If someone said they cared about me, but was unwilling or unable to do anything to show that to me, then the person does not love me. Love is shown in action, not feelings. You should be able to do things outside of what makes you comfortable because that person means that much to you.

You also misunderstand me. I do not excuse JH's actions at all. I have criticised them severally. But we can see that at the root of it, or at least to him, it was his idea of showing affection for his brother. That is actually unquestionable. How he went about it is what the issue is, and where his character development lies. His brother needed to sit him down and sternly talk to him. Address the root of his problems, which is trauma, and draw clear boundaries with him. Then he'd need to accept those boundaries, and from there, they'd have a better relationship. I've said this way too many times, especially to you, but you seem to not understand a word I say.

And JH has never played the pity party. his actions prove that he has not. He works hard even at things he does not like in order to make him and his brother look favourable to their grandpa. He takes insults and assault from his half siblings because he feels he deserves the disdain. He has been working hard for him and his brother to be accepted, so what do you mean pity party? His blood brother was acknowledged, but he was not, but he was happy for him. What do you mean pity party? DH has been going on and on and on about his secret and how things are hard for him because of it. You are the one that thinks JH is throwing a pity party because of your prejudice. The only time he spoke about what he was going through was when he fought with his brother.
